Review after second visit there. Even though I selected 4 star - I have to give honest feedback and constructive critique. I used to do secret shopping back in the day, so this comes from a place of experience with shop owners. The staff, extremely friendly. The shop upon first impression - pretty place - I like the set up with mani on one side, pedi on the other. The quality of work on my nails - very good. They are good with scheduling appointments. Pricing - a little bit more than most, but they are in Scottsdale. Nail Polish wall - one of the best and most organized walls I have ever seen! The pedi side I feel the chair are stuffed too closely to each other. I like my private space. First time there they did mani and pedi together - did not like that experience. Reaching my arm over the removeable table for them to work on my nails while in the chair is not a relaxing experience. Asking every customer what they prefer should be part of putting customer first. My biggest critique: cleanliness. * The windows - dirty - looking through them and can see smudges and dust. (once a week cleaning - 15 minute job would do wonders) * The nail stations - each section should be immaculate. Instead of being on their phones between clients - cleaning should be first priority. Examples: the little fan - so dusty. The dremel tool, nail drill bits, nail art tools, brushes and so forth - I should have taken a picture - filthy. Replace these tools more often or take time to clean and disinfect between each client. The light on the station, cord wrapped in packing tape - probably frayed - buy a new light or order a new cord. * Nail polish bottles - the screw on nail brush - when ordering from OPI have them send you extra toppers - how many people touch the white top and they are smudged with the nail color. Cleaning those or replacing with new ones would again add to immaculate cleanliness of the salon. Owners and employees see the shop every day, so it's easy to develop blind spots. Look at your shop through the lens of the clients - what are they seeing. If you can elevate that experience, a five-star review naturally follows. Couple details of service: I was not offered water, but another client was. Being consistent with all clients gets noticed by everyone. All clients should wash their hands before their service and before they add the moisturizer to your hands. Just don't know where client's hands have been once they enter the salon. read more

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. I paid $79 for a powder dip French manicure and noticed problems almost immediately. One thumb developed bubbling the same day, then both thumbs were affected. Over the following days, the bubbling worsened, one nail developed a crack, and additional nails began chipping much sooner than I would expect from a dip manicure, which normally lasts 2-3 weeks for me. What was especially disappointing is that I raised a concern during the appointment that the dip looked too thin compared with what I normally receive, but the technician continued without adjusting it. I later contacted the salon multiple times by phone, sent photos and video as requested, and was told the manager would call me back. No meaningful response or resolution was ever provided. Because I live about three hours away, returning for a repair was not realistic. I tried to handle this directly before leaving a review, but the lack of follow-through made that impossible. read more

genuinely one of if not the worst nail experiences I have ever had in my life. This is genuinely the first review I've ever written for an establishment because of how god-awful it was. I got a pedicure that was great... Last minute decided you know what maybe I'll get a fill since I have my brother's wedding a.k.a. a special IMPORTANT occasion coming up in a few days and needed to get my nails done anyways so decided why not just get a fill while I'm here since all I get is literally just classic white French tips which most nail salons seem to do OK with. Anyways I had one broken nail so the girl I got starts working on it, immediately I noticed she's rushing like crazy. Which also, sidenote, I will literally never understand why they agree to taking on another service if they are going to rush and do a horrible job... Anyways, she starts she glues on the tip, it looks horrible and is so crooked but i've noticed after years of getting my nails done, you have to trust the process. she brings me to the chair, She's drilling so fast and literally burning me, she got nail polish all over my hands and the end product looked so insanely bad I got in my car and I cried because of how ugly they were and how mad I was that we had just spent money on it. If anyone from management sees this I want a refund because this is genuinely a joke. how does a nail salon mess up a simple French tip??? ANYWAYS... The acrylic application was so bumpy and also very visibly didn't go to my cuticle and they looked as grown out as when I came in with a 3 week old set. The shaping was genuinely atrocious I've never been more upset with a nail set in my life, every nail salon I've ever been to has been able to do a simple white French tip and do just fine, also, I asked her to fix things and actually spoke up for once because I was getting frustrated, and she just didn't fix it at all. By the time the service was done, the nail she had glued back on was wider than all the other ones, completelt crooked, horribly shaped, the acrylic was somehow applied way too thin and was also bumpy at the same time, the natural color she painted on for underneath the french tip was streaky and every nail was either crooked or a different shape from the one next to it. Charging $50 plus for shitty rushed work is a joke and I genuinely hope you do better. Especially after the person paying said $50 plus dollars asks you to fix something. For future reference if you don't have time to do a service well, DONT DO IT AT ALL!!!!! get better nail techs or close the place down, thanks xx read more

Great nail salon! I visited twice with no reservations and they were able to fit me in right away. The space is super clean and the color selection is incredible . On my first visit, I got powder dip nails. My manicurist suggested a shade of red perfect for the holidays and I loved it! She did a great job filing and shaping my nails, and they looked perfect for over four weeks (besides being grown out). On the next visit, I got a mani/pedi. I was a little surprised there was no massage portion on the pedicure (or manicure for that matter), isn't that what makes them so great?! I will say, the attention to detail was evident again in the manicure. It was fun to try the chrome on top - something I've never tried before! I love how they turned out. If you're looking for a salon that is really going to perfect your nails with care and time, look no further. read more

Tiffanie is the best manicurist I've ever had. I don't live in the area but I make sure to go to Tiffanie every time I'm in town. My mom lives in the area and only goes to her as well. She's amazing at what she does-she's very detail oriented, takes her time, and makes sure nails are done right. I know that I'll always have an excellent manicure that lasts. She's also great to talk to. Recently I had a not great manicure in the Bay Area and she was able to reverse damage really well and set up my nails for success in the future. I started going to Pinnacle Nails and Lash to get my lashes done. My experience was fantastic! Kelly is so sweet and great at what she does. My lashes look natural and last great! I had a manicure/pedicure in the shop the other day and they had this tech named Noon assigned to me. She was one of the nastiest people I've ever had work on me.. Noon didn't smile. She didn't listen to what I wanted. She just sat there working on me, pouting with a nasty look on her face. She could barely talk to me. Could care less what I thought or what I wanted. Noon is ignorant. She has no customer service ability at all. I'm not sure why the shop keeps her around. . Noon is the type of worker who hurts businesses. I'm not sure if I'll return to the shop again. But, I do have to say that the manager was great. He was very personable that day. If I do to return to the shop, it's because of my initial welcome into the shop by the manager. The shop was also clean and most the techs are helpful and perform excellent work. I used to go nowhere else. I had a favorite tech. Eventually it became too much. I would ask for a type of pedicure and she would take out things that weren't on the list for that pedicure, and would charge me the higher price "because I didn't stop her". First time visit. Overall very good experience in terms of pricing, cleanliness and timeliness of service. The only issue was the older gentleman doing my pedicure was pretty rough when maneuvering mt legs/feet. I winced in pain a couple of times. I really appreciate the fact that they do the manicure/pedicure simultaneously, but the combination of the angle of the chair, and bridge on top of it, allowing town to do the manicure, left my mobility very difficult without knocking the bridge off. I would have preferred to spend the additional time, or just had the gentleman doing my pedicure to ask me what he wanted, versus manually manipulate my legs/feet. Overall the result was great but I'd ask for a different pedicure technician in the future. read more

I got a SNS manicure with tips from "T" and she did an incredible job! If my nails didn't grow out, I could have had my nails for 5+ weeks. No chips, no cracks and tons of compliments!! Horrible customer service. Kim at the front desk is very rude. We made appointments two hours ago. They were running half an hour late or more. They claimed they were short staffed, which I guess they didn't know two hours earlier when they made the appointment. The manager was unapologetic. They expected we would just wait indefinitely. Made an appointment for Dip and pedicure. Arrived for my appointment and was told to wait. First time in - shop was lovely and clean. Nice atmosphere. I believe the manager "T" started my nails and then one of her regulars showed up with her husband. T abruptly moved me, told me I had to wait and did her regular customer's nails. I waited with my nails in foil for half an hour. No one offered me any explanation, and i asked what is happening? The gal who I was being passed off to was sweet and apologetic, but doing another clients nails, and told me I should have made an appointment and told them it was for dip. Well, I did do that. I came here while my grandmother had a medical appt nearby. Her appt was supposed to take roughly 2 hrs. Figured that would be plenty of time for a fill. Called to schedule a full a couple days before. When I got there, I'm my nail tech wrapped my nails in foil-I let her know I had acrylics and only wanted a fill, she replied "no yours are dips." I should have probably known right then, but I didn't want to be difficult and gave her a chance... She *finally* figured out I indeed had acrylics when they didn't just soak right off. Then she said I'd have to get a whole full new set and that this salon ONLY offered dip nails, then went on a long tangent about how dip nails are just so much better and faster. She had to redo one of my fingers 3 times, and another of my fingers twice-she was having a hard time getting the dip powder to harden. The entire ordeal took nearly 3 hours. I paid for a full set I didn't ask for, and left without complaining, mostly because I needed to go pick up my grandma who was now waiting for me. When I got home, I ended up needing a new set about a week later-not only because I never wanted dip nails but because almost every nail ended up having a massive crack in it. This happened in October-maybe the nail tech I had was new? I heard someone say she was new and she also didn't know the prices of the services she was giving me. read more

My husband and I just moved here. We both walked in and were able to get right in for pedicures without an appointment. I asked if anyone was able to do my nails. They did them while I was getting a pedicure. Even tho I went with a straight color, my nails and toes turned out great! We were done in a little over an hour and will be coming back. read more

I'm so mad at this place for up charging ! Went once before and had the basic pedicure and had gel nail polish removed and they charged me the correct price $35 as advertised. Went today and they charged me $10 more for acrylic pedi nail removal. WTF! I told them they charged me $35 last time and there is no mention of oedis with acrylic removal as an up charge. So, they argued and frankly they suck for doing this and should have told me the client before hand. They had every option to do so but did not! Go somewhere else's.
