On several occasions, it seemed as though staff were too busy to provide updates or follow through on promised callbacks. While I eventually received information regarding my motorcycle, the lack of proactive communication made the process unnecessarily frustrating. The facility itself is impressive, clean, and representative of the Ducati brand. Unfortunately, the customer service experience did not reflect the same level of professionalism. A simple courtesy phone call or email update can make a significant difference in maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction. In any service oriented business, customers should not have to repeatedly reach out for basic status updates. Improved communication and follow up procedures would go a long way toward enhancing the overall customer experience. My dealer Raina assured me this Motorcycle was inspected and serviced but said that service would take care of me. they had my bike for a month after buying and told me it was fixed. They didn't charge me a dime, They took a month to apply spray RTV that faded in 1 wash Nothing else was addressed. I eventually found out that this bike has a completely different engine from a 2013 s1000RR. NEVER disclosed this info to me the buyer at all. I returned the bike to service this April because the kickstand screws were stripped, not staying in, engine leaking oil again onto my back tire, tensioner leaking again there was a missing bolt that goes through the frame, an entire engine mount bushing was missing from the frame (extremely unsafe) and I wasn't willing to ride it again until it was fixed. they obviously never serviced this bike or even inspected it. All of this should have never been an issue from the day I bought it. Upon returning to pick up my motorcycle the dealership said it was finished, this time they fixed everything that was suppose to get done when my dealer handled it. But this time they charged me $1500. I payed the bill reluctantly. Hopped onto my bike and started riding home. Unfortunately to my dismay, my motorcycle didn't sound normal at all. about 10 minutes in, I could hear a serious grinding in my engine case. I called this dealerships service and they had a trailer to my house to pick it back up within the hour. service tells me that these noises are Normal for this bike, I say no way my best friend has the same year bike it's not normal. They tell me that 3 service techs have test driven it and say it's fine. 2 weeks later my cam chain blows on startup. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABYS TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY SERVICE NEEDS. They have left me conpletely destroyed.

Well Im right down the rd .. 5 min away I ride over and see my bike outside untouched. Ok at 4pm she calls saying oh yeah he's been working on it and my cables showed up. I leave work and stop over and see he pulled the cover off my fairing. 5 min work after being told don't touch it. So now my trip is planned and leaving Friday. Ok.. call 2 days later on Friday. He's on it, just yours to get it done. Ok. I call at 5 pm she says he's on it I don't like bugging him. Ok I get packed up and go over and see my bike the same way but just on a lift. Nothing but the fairing cover off. I try my best to hold my anger. So leave and call sat at 12pm. He's almost done she says. Call at 3pm no answer. Call at 4 no answer. Go up at 5 the dude in back is bitching saying Im rushing him. I ask when will it be done. Says he will call. Ok. Sat comes and around 5 pm And leave a message of well guess I paid for a room at blessing of the bikes in baldwin for nothing. 9pm they call saying my bikes done but ignition isn't because of no key but come get it.. I go up with my trailer. Takes me 20 min to arrive from drive time. I have 2 calls from them saying they wanna go home to hurry. I pull up in the back and see them with my bike. I help them install my ignition. Yeah. I had to do it.. then start my bike up and she comes standing in front of my bike holding the handlebars telling me I need to pay the bill of $1600. Yeah double the quote due to cables.. UNREAL!!!. Then the argument starts cause I can't even test ride my bike. My truck and trailer are there. So after listening to her bitching. Cussing. I figured I pay over going to jail she starts walking off I yell and say where's my receipt. She says she needs a pen and goes out the front door and left me without anything. Then 2 days go bye with rain and I take my bike for a ride. My new exhaust falls off. He didn't tighten or use lock tight on the bolts he removed to install my clutch cable. Then my clutch handle isn't working properly. Sticking everything I squeezed it closed. My front brakes are leaking. Its unreal.. I call and she answers and starts off with (YOUR THE POS FUCKER TALKING SHIT THE OTHER DAY. IM NOT DOING SHIT BUT CHARGING YOU TO REPAIR THE ISSUES. SAYING MY CABLE STRETCHED SO YOU WILL PAY. You can tell that he knew what he was doing just by looking at his shop and all the scooters he was working on. He also gave great insight on some areas of my scooter that I hadn't really considered. Some really cool stuff that will enhance my ride and keep it running smooth. I've had many Harleys over the years and have always found it EXTREMELY difficult to find a Dealer or a Person that is as passionate as you are when it comes to your Ride. You can tell when you walk in A&J that they are committed to delivering you quality service and a great product. You can clearly see the pride he takes in the service he provides and delivers. I will always confide in A&J when I need something tuned or done on my Scooter. I was truly thankful for the excellent service I received. FINALLY, a good Cycle Shop. AMEN !!!

When I contacted Alexander Samul the owner of the company he claimed he was not making enough money on the deal and I now needed to send him the money via zelle, cash app, or PayPal friends and family so he could avoid paying taxes and "keep it off the books" as he put it. What kind of legit business asks a complete stranger they've never met in person to send them 2800 dollars thru cash app to pay for a bike they've not even seen in person yet? He couldn't even stick to the agreement we made a mere 3 hours prior and canceled the invoice he sent me without telling me. This Owner of Detroit Moped Works lied to me and did not keep his word. He then tried to justify his lies by saying things change and we didn't have any type of legal agreement to purchase the bike. Where I come from a man's word means everything and this guy is giving small business's everywhere a bad name by not honoring the agreement we made. He then cried the blues about how he could barely keep the lights on and just needed to make payroll which seemed like a very odd and unprofessional thing to do for a business owner. I contacted him to purchase a bike not be his therapist. There was nothing complicated or personal about this transaction. I was trying to purchase a Bike from Detroit Moped Works a retail shop that sells bikes, mopeds, and scooters, why would that be so complicated for them. They tried to change their story later when I called them out on what they were doing by saying it was a personal transaction when clearly it was not. In fact the bike I was going to purchase is for sale inside his store Detroit moped works so why would it be a personal transaction. They sent me an invoice to pay for the bike that was from the company Detroit Moped Works, again not something that would indicate a personal transaction. The words "off the books" were his words not mine as you can see from screenshot below. If your intention was not to operate "off the books" then why would you say that and use those exact words? Sure sounds like the owner is lying yet again. They continued to lie about what happened by saying the invoice was revised, the invoice was not revised because I asked for an extra day, in fact it wasn't revised at all. It was cancelled altogether because the owner became upset and thru a temper tantrum because he said he wasn't making enough money. Cancelling an official invoice from the business and asking someone to cash app or zelle you personally so you can avoid the taxes and credit card fees is not what I call revising the invoice. This business says they operate with professionalism so why does the owner not show that same professionalism. The bigger question is why is the owner of Detroit Moped Works selling bikes from his own shop personally off the books? That does not sound like a legit business operating on the up and up to me. The invoice I received from him was from the company Detroit Moped Works. That would indicate it's NOT some type of personal transaction. I'll attach a copy of the invoice received from Detroit Moped Works to purchase the bike. I want to be very clear. This did NOT happen because of any type of miscommunication. The owner of Detroit Moped Works straight up lied to me and backed out of the deal we made because he was greedy and decided he wanted to make more money from the transaction.

I called to make an appointment, and right from the beginning, I was impressed with how friendly and professional they were. They were flexible and were willing to accommodate my schedule. Carl, the owner and primary mechanic was pleasant and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions without making me feel like he was rushed. I appreciate that. He even pointed out a couple of items that needed attention at my next visit, but I never felt he was trying to pad the bill and do unneeded repairs. Yesterday, Carl installed new tires and changed the brake fluid. Again, everything was done professionally, ahead of time, and as promised. Unlike the dealership, Carl did NOT scratch my rims - Thanks, Carl!!! And thanks, also to Fran in the front office who handles calls and makes appointments; she is a definite asset to the business.
