We stopped there on our way back to Connecticut for a late dinner. We ordered the meatball and eggplant parm sandwiches. The eggplant was horrible. Very undercooked and hard to eat. I had to pull most of it out of the bread. They were served with fries which were pretty good and very hot. The service was alright.. The man brought us cups for the fountain as soon as we walked in. I went to order our sandwiches and the man taking the order was like "that's all you're getting?" Which I felt was a little rude. Felt like they were staring us down the whole time. Driving back from Florida to Virginia Beach, we stopped off for some lunch. The food was great. The cheese steak special, chicken parmigiana, and chicken hoagie were excellent. The Italian bread was perfect and the fillings plentiful and well seasoned. My granddaughter had the kids menu pizza slice that was big enough to feed me. The place and it's facilities were exceptionally clean and the people friendly and helpful. We'll remember this place the next time we're traveling I95 in North Carolina. read more

Took delivery while staying at the Fairfield Inn; bad decision, grrrr...the pizza was like cardboard, very dry despite the toppings, completely lacked flavor; I took a few bites and tossed it back into the box. Also ordered: fried mushrooms & fried shrimp, all underwhelming, frozen variety/quality. I'd opt for a snack from the Fairfield Inn Market Place before eating here again. read more

This place was such a waste of time and money, the AC didn't work so it was hotter inside the restaurant than the outside temp of 90 degrees, we ordered a Greek salad and a pizza for our family. The Greek salad was nothing but ice burg lettuce with canned olives on top, and the only thing good about the pizza was the cheese, the crust was dry and the sauce was tasteless! I'd say save your money and go to Pizza Hut! read more

This was the best pizza I have found in a very long time. We were traveling and staying in the hotel across the street and were prepared for possible just ok pizza. We were so thrilled with the deliciousness of our pizza. Clearly uses homemade crusts, fresh ingredients and the red sauce is home made as well. He had no problem accommodating special requests. Our lunch here was excellent. We ordered a cheesesteak and a chicken cheesesteak. They both came out tasting very fresh on toasted rolls. The service friendly very efficient for our short stop off I-95. The restaurant and BATHROOMS were very clean. Will definitely stop by here again in the future. read more

Here are my thoughts: very good service, food, atmosphere! My first time experiencing this place and I was impressed. The waiter was super awesome. He went as far as making fresh canolis for myself and my sister in law. The wings were delicious, as well as our pizza which we got half pepperoni and half meat lovers. We ate here because it was close to our hotel and what a good choice. Son had fried shrimp basket. He gobbled them so fast I didn't get a bite. They looked tempura style with nice hot fries. Hubby had sausage parm sandwich and fries and said it was good. I had pasta with marinara sauce and fresh mushrooms. Marinara sauce was wonderful. And they used fresh sautéed mushrooms not canned. We had the garlic knots. Different than back home. These were little knots crunchy on the outside tender on the inside brushed with butter and covered with parm. Delicious. Stopped off on our way to Florida. Nice menu, we had the lunch special two slices and soda which was very good. Next to it was a grassy area for our dog to run around which made it convenient for us. For a quick decent meal, this is the place. read more

If you're a New Yorker traveling I-95 and find yourself near Wilson NC needing a quick 'pizza fix' Pino's Pizza is pretty close to the real deal which made it worth the 5 stars to this fast food-weary traveler. (Just taking a little sweetness away from the sauce would make it even closer.) The place was nothing fancy, but the service was excellent. When I left my pocketbook and cell phone they were kind and persistent enough to track me down before I got too far down the road. What a lifesaver!! I couldn't thank them enough! read more

I can't comment on the food because we never actually received any. We had a restaurant.com certificate to use, and I called to place a take out order and mentioned that I would be using the certificate to pay for my order. The guy on the phone said he couldn't accept it because another customer had already used one earlier in the day. When I told him that that was not one of the conditions listed on the terms and conditions on the certificate, he said his boss had told him they would only accept one per day because they "weren't making any money on the certificates" and they had been getting "like 10 in a day sometimes", so therefore they refused to honor mine. I don't live in the same town as this restaurant, I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and had planned to get pizza for dinner before driving back to my town. I was very surprised at the lack of concern for upholding the agreement implicit in the restaurant.com certificate. When I told the guy to tell his boss that he had just lost a customer forever (I will certainly NEVER give this company my business) and that I would report them to restaurant.com, he laughed and sarcastically said, "Okay then! Have a great night!" People need to know about the poor business ethics and lack of customer service displayed by this company. read more
