The studio is a big house on a corner lot that's been transformed into a cute and cozy art studio. My son spent three hours here today with Sarah for the lego workshop. Sarah is very friendly and professional, my son loved her and is already asking to go back for another class. He was able to make mini-fig crayons, a mini-fig keychain, a working lego clock, and a lego decorated photo frame. It's nice that they allow the parents to either stay or leave while their kiddo is busy in the studio. They do have a refreshment area with coffee, tea and little treats to snack on. I plan to take an adult class for myself in the future and of course sign my child up again for some more fun. :) read more

The summer art camp was such a wonderful experience for my granddaughter. Worth every penny. Cannot wait for her to go again next year!

My daughter has been taking weekly art classes during the school year at Jump Into Art for a year and a half I think. She looks forward to coming every week. The teachers are so creative and give an inclusive safe, artistic environment to their students. We have done other classes there also outside of the weekly class during the year, such as clay throwing, glass fusing, pumpkin carving and decorating, painting, etc. There is something for everyone and Jump Into Art is so welcoming to all. They have day, evening, and weekend classes. My daughter and I have both formed friendships with classmates, parents, teachers and I could not recommend this studio more! I cannot put into words the amount of gratitude and joy that Jump Into Art has brought to myself and my daughter. Thank you! read more

This was such a wonderful experience! Wendy is so so great at teaching and ger craft is top level! Got to mingle and meet other great people at this class too. I thought I was good at art but pottery isn't a game for the weak. The company and laughter really makes this soo worth the dime! Really had a great time celebrating my girlfriends birthday. The week long kids summer camp is fantastic. Our future first grader was involved in several summer camps and this was his favorite. He learned a lot of fun creative lessons that wouldn't have been possible at home, felt cared for by his teachers, and made new friends. The projects are exciting for us as parents to see as they really stretch the imagination of creative crafts. We will be back next year 100% read more

We took a pottery class here with Emily and it was great fun. Emily was a wonderful teacher and patiently talked us through different steps, encouraging us and assuring us that even our wonky pieces were art. Cant wait to get our pots back - very excited for that. The studio has other activities and I hope to try them out soon. read more

Update on Jan 13, 2024 - Per my review 3 weeks ago. The owner promised a refund which I never receive it. I contacted the owner by text but never get any reply. ___________________________________________________________________________ I enrolled into a 7 weeks clay class with the "teacher" called Katey Loveless on Sunday 2-4pm. The class is finished and my experience was horrible 1. Katey is inexperience in time management and planning. The class description stated we will have 10-15 pieces of finished work. All of our class has less than that. I myself only have 8 pieces due to poor planning and time management. The most troublesome is two final pieces are not fire/glaze and she asked us to go back after class to take them later. She texted me yesterday and asked me to contact the Director about my leftover pieces. 2. Katey is not a nice "teacher" who can treat everyone in the class fairly and equally. She offered special tools to some students only and even refused to give me a clean box to take my product home. She insisted I take the dirty box while she offered the clean one to the other. Ended up no one want her boxes and I refused to take the dirty box. She ignored me when I asked her questions in classes and pretend did not hear. I have to repeatedly asked for help to get her attention. Many other incidents not list here. If you are minority and must enroll in this studio, you will NOT have a good luck with Katey 3. When we do glaze, I saw many finished products on the shelves and asked Katey what are the glaze clour, for more than 90%, she said they don't have that glaze anymore and some she said "it's Emily (another teacher) personal glaze". There are a few glaze samples on-site but she said those are old and outdated. So, for most part, we do not have much choice in glaze colour and don't even know what colour we are glazing. Katey rudely told me to bring my personal glaze. I have no idea the glaze situation is like this and thought the class include the clay and glaze as it did not mention any extra charge or we need to bring our own glaze in the description 4. In the last two weeks before the class is finished, Katey constantly try to sell me to enroll in Emily's class. I told her I cannot do night time. She said "it's 6:30pm". I told her I may enroll in Joe's class as his day and time suit me better. She was immediately get upset and told me (both in person and in phone text) Joe's class is for intermediate to advance. I need to at least take a year's class to be considered intermediate. I called the studio to ask whether it is appropriate for me to enroll in Joe's class and the owner, Magda, told me Joe teaches all levels so I can enroll. I later decided not to enroll in Joe's class as Katey said she is in that class and I do NOT want to be in the same class with Katey. Eventually, I think I will give other studio a try instead of enrolling in this studio again read more

Both of my kids take classes at Jump into Art and love it. My five year old takes a class with Ms Kary and my seven year old is in a homeschool art class with Ms Magda. They both count down the days until their next class because they are so excited for the next week. I love that they learn something new each week, whether it's learning about a different artist or working with a new medium. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind and so good with the kids. Magda is a joyous, loving burst of sunshine and wonderful with all ages. Since my son has started her Friday night art class, he has become more focused, has shown an increase in attention to detail, and shows a sense of accomplishment in his art work. He also really seems to dig art! His favorite part is gifting his creations to others. Not only will your child learn to hone their natural ability for creating art, they will also learn lessons that go beyond the sketch pad; character traits like respect, compassion, and appreciation for self and others are requirements within the studio.
