It was a crowded spot with several conferences at the Marriott, which has improved so much over the past few years. The service was great and the food was really good. ****Poisoning**** Severe case of food poisoning**** ****Nasty in the Kitchen**** My entire family, 3 young kiddos and my wife ate at Pint Brothers on two different occasions while We stayed at the Marriott DTC. The first time my 1 year old and my wife got very sick, throwing up all night and extreme nausea and body aches, we assumed that they got a stomach cold. Two days later not associating my wife sickness to the food we all ordered the same dish; salad with fried chicken, this time the entire family spent the night throwing up and in sever pain. We called the ER and were so close to having 911 send an ambulance to pick us all up as all of us could not function. It was by far our worst night, away from the pain and discomfort, two parents seeing their three children suffer like this is terrifying, we assumed the worst. We survived. I dont want any one to suffer this experience. Do not eat at this place. We have filed a complaint with the USDA inspection department. The hotel unfortunately did not take much action. read more

At the DTC Marriott and stopped in to check this place out as a benefit of my Elite status with Marriott. Myself and two companions arrived at 945 so we would have plenty of time to get some breakfast before the 11 o'clock cutoff. We proceeded to stand there like idiots waiting for the hostess before we wandered in looking for someone who works there. A woman with pinned up, black hair stopped us and we were told there would be a 20 minute wait. We looked around and there were maybe 5 tables filled while the remaining 30 were empty and in varying degrees of "yet to be cleaned". This same woman also beckoned to a woman coming out from the back of the restaurant and asked her to seat us. The presumed hostess immediately told us there would be a 15m wait and they would text us when a table was available. Reminder, 90% of the restaurant is blatantly unoccupied. So we wandered back to our room for a bit. 25min later, we get out text. Awesome, we're starving. So we head back down, wait for the obviously-disinterested hostess, and are finally seated at about 10:15. ...30 minutes later, we still haven't even gotten water, let alone the ability to order. At this point we are just hungry and fed up so we leave and head to get breakfast elsewhere. The kicker is, we would have understood if someone would have just TALKED to us and communicated as to what was going on. Instead we were ignored. Very disappointed by this experience and we will likely not be returning here any time soon. read more

We stayed at the hotel where Pint Brothers is located. We visited several times - had brunch twice, drinks in the evening, and dinner during our stay. The food was always excellent but service varied a good but from slow to prompt. A couple times, I was frustrated given almost empty restaurant and waiting a long time for our server. I toyed with 3 stars vs 4, but the food ultimately won the 4 stars. read more

This is in the Marriott and wow great place. The food is excellent the the prices are not crazy hotel prices. I had dinner here two night in a row and it is darn good. For a hotel restaurant is excellent. I had the beer can chicken which was just a little dry but was very tasty and then tonight I had a good plate of ribs that were a huge portion and not drenched in the sauce. One of the guys with me had the salmon which he reported to be ery good. The service is excellent too, highly recommended. read more

The atmosphere here has been hectic with a major conference going on...but the service and the food here, along with numerous beer and cocktail choices has been superb. I had the New York Strip with salad and roasted vegetables as well as the hummus and pork and green chili stew. Everything was superb. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

My friends and I went there yesterday. We only went because it was open on Christmas day and it was in the area. Wow! What a great surprise!! The atmosphere is wonderful as it is in the open Atrium of the hotel so it's very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and cheerful even though they had to work on the holiday. But, the 5 star review is for the food! Primarily the green chili! Both bartenders recommended it and I'm SO glad they did. This was without a doubt the greatest chili, red OR green I've ever had. I am going to make this a regular stop for after work JUST for the green chili. To say it is heavenly is not an exaggeration! If you are in the area, please stop in and try the green chili. After a week at the hotel I feel I can finally review this place. Food is mediocre. The drinks suck and the staff is hit or miss. I wish there was more to say but most of the nights they did not have enough staff to support which should not happen at a hotel bar. You know your occupancy rate. The food was not great but did give you late night eats. The flatbread was good but lacked cheese most of the time. The alcohol was very well measured and there was no heavy hands here and expensive. Overall I would only come here if staying at the hotel. Otherwise go across the street to griffin and see Mercedes. read more

Horrible service. It's as if the restaurant searches for people who HATE people to host and serve the bar at this place. The drinks are expensive. The servers are rude and seem to be dishonest. I've never been led to tip not a thing until tonight but after waiting for an irritated server to grab us some drinks and then failing to pour a full drink and slamming the check in front of me, you've got to be kidding me if I'm adding gratuity. $24 for 2 drinks that cost me $18 earlier. Yikes! Avoid this place. Avoid this hotel. The poor service at the one place to eat in the evenings is enough to drive anyone away. There are a ton of comparable hotels you should try. read more

For business I stay at the Marriott where this Pint Brothers is located. I have twice had their Reuben (and get spicy mustard rather than the normally offered Russian dressing) and it is quite good. Their sauerkraut is good and I have had their sausage offered with it as well - not quite as good as the Reuben, but still good. Both their fries and their cole slaw (not sweet) are quite good. Add the good service and serviceable selection on beers on tap, can/bottle, and wines and you are bound to have a good experience here. read more

This is probably one of the more friendlier places that Denver has to offer and I believe that this place has nice people and good costumer service. Upgraded restaurant in the Marriott....was there this weekend for StarFest and they crushed it. Ate their Friday night for dinner, Saturday for dinner, and a snack here and there. Service was excellent, they have some folk who have been there a while, and they are great. Highlights: -Gulf shrimp cocktail pint was my favorite -Chips and cheese pimento dip was the bomb -Guiness bratwurst was destination good -Meat pie pizza was crushed multiple times -They have root beer floats! In conclusion, it is possible i will come back to this restaurant, even if i am not staying at the hotel. Well done folks! read more

Didn't even have to leave before writing this review. The moment I walked up the bartender(Lauren) was attentive and inviting. I began with ordering a Chardonnay before looking at the menu I just knew I wanted that. I asked her for some suggestions, as I don't eat meat, she was so well knowledged on the menu and didn't lead me astray when I asked about a certain item. Unfortunately I ALWAYS crave mashed potatoes, however she informed that they weren't usually ready until about 5. She suggested an order of fries for my beer cheese soup.. AHHHHMAZING, omg I couldn't have been more satisfied. My salad which was the apple kale salad... forget it.. NOTHING could prepare me for what I was about to taste.. I can't rave enough about how spectacular this salad is, there's not much to it but it's zesty, filling, has the right amount of crunch and taste. I'm in complete shock of how amazing something so simple can be. She is the best bartender and sales person, she knows what goes with what and won't lead you in the wrong direction. Restaraunt within the Marriott Hotel at the Denver Tech Center. It's a bit pricey but the food is decent and the wait staff was pleasant and accommodating. I had late dinner here two nights and a breakfast. The bourbon chicken with mash potatoes was good. The fish and chips was average. It came with a very small portion of coleslaw. The omelet was overall average and you can select up to 3 choices to include in it from a list. Each dinner was $18 and with the drink came out to over $20 plus tip. The breakfast was around $15 or so. Basically, it's convenient if you are staying at the Marriott. Otherwise, no, I wouldn't go here. The bar was popular and I'd venture to say this is where they make the bulk of their money. The environment is pleasant and clean. read more

Awful service - waitress was so rude. I was under the impression that my burger was wrong due to the fact that there was lettuce, tomato and pickles. Since these weren't stated to be on the menu. I politely stated that I thought my burger was wrong. They bring it back and said the onions are on top. Then walked away. I waited for my waitress to come back because I was still confused that they would just put onions on top of it and call it good. It took about 10 minutes to get the waitresses attention. Now, I understand, today is a busy day. So I was patient. I told the waitress that it was the same burger - still confused about the lettuce tomato and pickles. She didn't let me finish saying is it typical for there to be the lettuce tomato and pickles on this burger (it was a bbq burger.....). She interrupted saying let me just show you a menu. I tried to stop her because I knew what was on the menu. And what wasn't. She brings it back and starts pointing it out, to where I got impatient and asked if it was typical for the bbq burger to have the lettuce tomato and pickles. She said yes. I said ok. That's what I wanted to know. So I took off the lettuce, tomato and pickles. As I did this, the bottom bun was soaked. I sat there with the burger dripping. It caused a small pool on my plate. I had a few bites. She never asked if it was good or not. I had had enough of the awful service by this point and just asked for my check. She asked if I wanted a box, I said no it was awful. She slammed down the receipt and said "fine I just won't charge you" and walked away. I was in freaking shock. This is awful service that needs to be addressed. I've stayed at this Marriott many times while on business and dined here several times. The food is good.. I've had burgers, salads, apps and more. The beer list is OK.. And the wine is AWFUL. Please upgrade the wine list for those no beer drinking peeps. read more

We came in expecting to like this place and I do like the remodel they did on the Marriott. 1st the parking should be noted that you do not have to valet park, Pints will validate your parking ticket. It was not crowded at all for a Fri evening, but we sat down and it took some time before our server appeared, took our drink order and then Forever to deliver them. I actually got up and saw them sitting for awhile on the servers station and asked one of the other servers if they could get them. The bartenders that were not busy and should have delivered them. We finally "asked"to order an appetizer thinking we would just soak up our cocktail and leave, we had planned on staying for dinner. The pimento cheese dip was very good and we thought heck we were in no hurry let's just stay and have dinner. My salmon was very good, but my husbands BBQ meatloaf open faced sandwich was frozen patty's. For an upscale place you would think it would be fresh. I did talk to our server and addressed all of our concerns including his service with wanting to improve our experience for their betterment in a very nice way. Hopefully they address many of these things because it could be a great neighborhood place to go and not dependent on hotel guests. read more

Really nice on-site dining option at the Marriott DTC. We are there twice during our stay. The portion sizes are generous. The kale apple salad, veggie flatbread and chicken tender appetizer were yummy. And the brownie ala mode dessert didn't disappoint either. Best of all though was our server, Rita (both times)! She was super sweet and friendly, and definitely enhanced our dining experience!! read more
