    Pistachio torta

This is a solid spot for delicious Italian food, plus the ambiance is lovely for a date night! My fiance and I came by for dinner on a Friday night a while back; we had no reservation but they were able to accommodate us outdoors which was fine with us. It definitely does get busy during peak hours so would recommend making a reservation especially for larger parties! We started out with the burrata e cavoletti which came with house bread, crispy brussels sprouts, burrata, a balsamic reduction, and pesto. This was absolutely delicious! I loved how all of the flavors and textures came together perfectly, plus the bread was fantastic even on its own. For mains, we shared the ragu napoletana and salsiccia pizza both of which were great. I will say that the pizza here is Neapolitan style so the crust is soft and pillowy (less crispy). Finally, for dessert we tried the pistachio torta which was light and the perfect way to end our meal!

This place is great! We've heard about them being on the top 50 pizzeria list and finally decided to give them a try. Went on a Saturday around noon and were quickly seated with no wait. The server quickly gave us waters. This might sound stupid, but they have really good water here. Ice cold and filtered. This gave me high hopes if this is what they are making the pizzas with. We ordered the vesuvio stuffed pizza. It came out right when it left the oven and so had the signature puff from the steam. Our server asked if we wanted her to cut it but I wanted that experience for myself. It was so delicious. The ricotta was very light and it was more about the crust and the meats. Super good. Next time I'll try the fried pizza that they won the pizza Olympics with. I heard you can get that fried dough with any pizza you like except the one we ordered on this visit.

This restaurant was so good. We also ordered the meatballs and bread which was not pictured. Because we ate it so quickly. Their bread is homemade and absolutely delicious. The surface was amazing. Great recommendations. I was just here visiting on a work trip that I would definitely make an effort to come back if I weren't in town. The waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu gave really good recommendations. Asked us what we liked, and then provided the recommendations based off that which I really liked. There's not a lot of seating in there, but there's enough to make it a cozy restaurant!

This place was awesome. Loved everything we had! Started with the burrata and meatballs - sauce was fabulous on the meatballs and the Brussels / burrata combination was killer. For dinner we split a handful of things. The pesto pasta was a sneaky winner... so rich, creamy and truly a treat. We wanted a plain cheese pizza but this seemed like an impossible task for some reason ha. Had to ask for extra mozzarella and extra cheese twice which seemed odd being an Italian spot but other than that everything else was good. Service was okay, server seemed annoyed with us on the cheese pizza ask but food came out pretty quick!

We checked this place out recently for lunch and had a great experience. I made a reservation so we didn't have long to wait for a table. The service was excellent and they were friendly. We tried the bruschetta appetizer. It came with 3 slices of bread cut in half, so 6 pieces total. The bruschetta had excellent flavor. We split the Salsiccia pizza and the Ragù Napoletano. We also tried the tiramisu for dessert. Everything was so flavorful and the portion sizes match the prices. We had enough food to share between the 3 of us. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

The perfect date night spot. The pizza was the best/closest thing to the pizza I had in Rome, Italy. Waiter was informative and friendly. The Montanara pizza is an award winner, but for me it's just missing something. Probably because I prefer protein in my pizzas. I'm sure they'd let you add protein to it though!

Espresso type cocktail - Nu Cafe

We booked a table on a Saturday evening... it was very busy, and we sat outside on the patio. My wife had an espresso type cocktail, called Nu Cafe, which she enjoyed. We started with the panzanella salad, which was very good - nice mix of greens, butternut squash, goat cheese, incredible bread/croutons, and a lemon honey dressing. We ordered two pizzas : a margherita with fresh buffalo mozzarella (upcharge) and their Gladiator pizza, loaded with onions, peppers, Calabrian chilies, and pancetta. The pizzas were good... we prefer a touch more crisp on the crust. It was doughy but still had nice char... but the bottom had some sogginess, which happens with certain ingredients. Unfortunately it was dark on the patio area... perhaps some string lights above or table lanterns might be nice. Service was very good, and there was a nice duo playing some live music under the covered outside seating area. The bathrooms were very clean and had nice tile! The inside looks great and there is also bar seating and a tv. I would like to return and try some of their pasta dishes.

Was so excited to try patenope and the pizza was unique compared to other pizza in Dallas. I really liked spicy pizza. I think the prices are a little steep for the pizza and drinks. $16 martini but overall I would come back.

First time visiting Partenope because I heard their pizza was the highest rated in Texas and weekends they served lasagna so I needed to try it. Had the house red which was very good and food Started off with the bruschetta for apps was yummy only issues tomatoes on top too big just fell off every time you bite, the lasagna looked amazing and tasted great would order again but 24$ is a lot for the portion. The Margherita is my favorite pizza always and theirs was easily top 5 pizza places for Neapolitan style pizza would come back for that for sure. To finish ended with the tiramisu for dessert was good but for me was the weakest test in the lineup tonight, looked great but could not taste any espresso and was very watery at the bottom making everything taste soggy. But overall staff was pleasant and the interiorlooked great, I will definitely come back for my pizza and try some different pastas and desserts next time!

Prosciutto, cheese, ricotta, fresh basil. EPIC!

My husband & I are Italian; we've eaten our way through Italy a couple of times, so after reading rave reviews about Partenope Ristorante in Richardson, Texas, we made a reservation for lunch. The service is stellar; we were greeted warmly, seated immediately and served promptly. The ambiance has a metropolitan feel; a big, beautiful bar, ample table seating as well as comfortable leather booths. The incredible menu is reminiscent of the offerings in Italy, so there's something for everyone. We ordered two pies; the special of the month & a menu regular "Napoli Centrale" with Italian sausage, ragu, prosciutto, basil, & ricotta (see photos). The ingredients are fresh, clean flavors that made my taste buds dance. The dough melts in your mouth, while the crust has just the right crunch from the brick oven char. I grew up in NY where pizza is a delicacy & I haven't enjoyed pizza this much since leaving NY in 1999. We'll be back to Partenope for dinner very soon; looking forward to tasting everything on the menu & enthusiastically recommend Partenope Restaurant to everyone.Mangiare!

Honestly some of the best Italian food I've had in a very long time. Came on a Saturday for a late lunch and there were only a few tables, which became very surprising to me after my meal. My friend and I started with the calamari and shrimp to start Everything was very fresh and not overly seasoned. I appreciated that everything was lightly battered. We also got a pizza and pasta to share. Both were very delicious but I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed the pasta! It was super flavorful. I like that such great food is right in the Richardson area. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I saw this place on a ranked pizza list and decided to try it out. The interior gives a good vibe for families and group gatherings. We started off with the burrata e cavoletti which came with a creamy burrata, pesto, and bread to dip alongside crispy roasted brussel sprouts tossed in a sweet balsamic glaze. I really like the glaze and asked for a small dipping cup of it. For the first pizza we ordered the calabrese which was slightly spicy and came with ricotta and hot honey. Our second pizza was the napoli which came with prosciutto and Italian sausage. The napoli definitely could have been more flavorful and was a bit bland. But the calabrese was very good with extra hot honey sauce. The crust of the pizza is definitely one of the best I've tried considering I don't really love pizza. Only thing I wish they would change is the size of the slices, they cut it up into fourths instead of the typical eighths which made it hard to eat. For desert we got the dolce calzone which was a sweet calzone with apple and mascarpone filling topped with fresh caramel sauce. The desert was delicious but the portion size was enormous. Would only recommend getting this desert if you are in a large group!!!

"Partenope Ristorante in Richardson blew me away--such an authentic vibe and killer food. We kicked things off with the fried calamari and shrimp (fritto misto), and it was amazing: super fresh, piping hot, perfectly light batter, and not overly seasoned. Total winner to start. The pasta was straight 10/10--al dente with that great bite and rich flavors that make you feel like you're in Italy. The pizza? Uff, just perfect--soft, bubbly crust with awesome char and toppings. Only tiny thing: maybe a little more crisp on the bottom would take it to next level, but still one of the best Neapolitan pies around DFW. We also tried the panini (so good, hearty and flavorful) and dessert--wow, what a way to finish. Everything felt high-quality and thoughtful. Service was friendly, spot was cozy with that nice patio option. If you're in Richardson craving real Italian without the downtown trek, this is it. Highly recommend--definitely going back! 5/5 stars."

So many restaurants have such a high noise level nowadays. How is the noise level at Partenope in Richardson? We are planning to take another couple with us and his hearing is impaired.

My dad has difficulty with his hearing. If he goes at the dinner hour when it's crowded he has a hard time hearing.

Do they have a lunch menu?

No, I think they only have one menu for both lunch and dinner.

For food we started with the Brussel sprouts (crispy fried, kung pao vinaigrette, scallions, toasted sesame seeds, cashews) which had a hint of spice and were excellent. For entrees my partner ordered the shrimp and avocado cobb salad (avocado, hard-boiled egg, grape tomatoes, watermelon radish, buttermilk chive dressing) which was so good and the dressing could literally go on anything. For my entree I ordered the brunch pizza which I believe has since been taken off the menu but was excellent. For dessert you'll definitely want to order the Deviled Affogato (devil's food cake, vanilla ice cream, coffee caramel, nitro cold brew coffee shot). The sauce on top and all of the flavors combined make this an excellent way to end the meal.

We were seated promptly, but there were no clean high chairs available, so we had to wait a few minutes while one was cleaned. That wasn't a big deal. After about 10 minutes, our server finally came over to take our drink and food order. From there, things went downhill. We waited around 30 minutes without our server checking on us once, while tables that were seated after us began receiving their food. After about 45 minutes, we decided to ask for our order to be packed to go. That's when we found out our original server had already left without handing our table off to another employee. Our order had been entered into the system but was never brought out, and no one noticed. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there were several employees standing around at the front and only a couple of other tables in the restaurant. It was surprising that no one realized we'd been sitting there without food or service for so long. I was genuinely excited to try this highly rated restaurant, but instead I ended up wasting an hour and a half. No one attempted to make things right or offered any apology beyond explaining what happened. I would also encourage the staff to be mindful of communication when interacting with customers. If a customer asks a question, it's best to answer them directly in a language they understand. Speaking among yourselves in another language during a service issue can easily create the impression that you're talking about the customer, even if that's not the intent. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this restaurant. I hope they improve their customer service because the food may be good, but the service needs significant attention

Waters Edge is a winery and a bistro - so you can come for drinks or a meal or both. We were told that they make all of the wines on their menu, of which there are dozens of wines on their menu. I've been to a few urban wineries before, and it's an interesting concept. Waters Edge buys grape must (crushed grapes) from around the world and then craft and bottle wines made from that must at their locations (this Dallas location is one of 15 across the country). Wanting to try a few of their wines, the four of us shared two flights of five wines each. We tried the Tour of Armenia and Alec's Flight (a rotating selection of wines by their winemaker). Did I like every wine? No. But I thought most of them were pretty good. Personally, I'm not sure they need to make this many wines; I'll always prefer a business that does ten things well than fifty things fine (the Cheesecake Factory rule). But most of the wines were pretty nice (of the 10 I tried, I wouldn't drink 3 or 4 but wouldn't mind drinking the rest again). I appreciated that many of their wines are Armenian style, because I haven't had much opportunity to try Armenian wines. We also ordered a few snacks - they have a full food menu. We shared their Deviled Egg of the Month (2 eggs - 4 halves) and their Cheese is Life Board (two cheeses, hot honey, giardiniera, and crispy flatbread), which were both good snacks. They've been open just under a year, but the place doesn't feel quite lived in yet. The dining room has a large room divider in it, set up like a bookshelf. It has books and card/trivia games about wine and more. But many of these items were still wrapped in plastic, making it feel a little impersonal. The service was good, and it's a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours! The food we had was pretty good. The wines in my opinion are just okay - probably not the spot to take a wine snob on a date. But they have a large variety of wines, so you're likely to find one or many that you like. Not a bad place to spend some time if you're in the neighborhood!
