The best chili dog on the west coast. At least it was today. Better go again to find out! I've gone here a few times. Fast friendly &fun service, cute atmosphere, good place to watch sports, dog friendly, and lots of interesting beers.

I found this spot by accident and I'm glad I did. It's a vibey and chill sports bar that just feels homey. They have a good selection of beers and a wide menu of hot dogs options. I got the Kona dog which had some onion, pineapple, and jalapeno - the best trio of flavors. It was an all around solid dog, and what made it even better was the crunchy Maui onion chips on top. It's a fun meal to enjoy while watching a game and enjoying a beer. The variety of hot dogs is intriguing enough to make me want to try another. It's not necessarily the best dog of my life, but it's good enough that makes me curious about coming back. Besides, who can say no to a vibey bar?!

Ok, this is not just another hot dog stand. Firstly the beer and cider selection was large and has a great selection. Our server was quick and helpful with menu questions. This is a well laid out business with indoor and patio seating. The patio is covered and windows for winter weather seating. The hot bog menu was quite interesting and great selection oh hot dogs and toppings. They have combination dogs and build your own. All the food is prepared in a food trailer that you pick your food up from.

Unique. Local. Built up and created from ANOTHER local business Pints and Quarts, so they're pretty much anchored in the same neighborhood with an established rep in place for years. Whether you're meeting for a few beers, getting together to eat from the food truck or staying to experience both, Pints was a long waited for local destination for me that is worth it. The hotdogs here are also partly sourced from local meat geniuses Johnson's Farm! Members in my party shared their coated French fries and tots. Special shout out for the soft and Flavorful pretzel sticks!! No additional salt needed on the fries or Tots, probably more than I'd use on my own. Next time I'd ask for light or no salt even. i don't use it often so this is a PERSONAL preference. Tremendously vibrant atmosphere that wasn't even remotely affected by a very showery December night. Great TV placement for game night, when I was here a TV had a holiday movie on too! Decent side parking, but on a busy night the location "could be " "too crowded" or "too loud" for some. I'd recommend just doing the food truck as the food here is sourced from the truck if you don't care for the sports bar vibe and just want to get it to go. Service was prompt and helpful when answering questions on if the 16oz glasses could be purchased and how much the t shirts were! The bar area itself is sort of modest but the covered patio with table top fire pits. The goal would have to be to try several hot dogs you want to over several visits to find your favorite. Picked out a few I think my Wife would like for my next stop here! Go local and have a great time!!

Found this great spot at the bottom level of a new apartment complex near campus. Kid friendly areas inside with fun lego walls and free video games. The menu is surprisingly huge with a wide variety of specialty hot dogs & brats with every topping and sauce you can think of. Sides of mac-n-cheese, fries, chili, cole slaw, potato salad, they have it all! Plenty of options for everyone and kid menu, too. Spacious indoor and covered outdoor seating with fireplace and heat lamps. The food truck outside is the kitchen, order at the table, then pickup your order when buzzed. Bartendar was super friendly and quick to bring the beer flight sample and our server, Dean P, was attentive and prompt. We will be back!

I feel like it's been too few places in the Olympia/Lacey area that I've really enjoyed much when it comes to a spot to have the fam, a good beer, and some good food. Pints ticks all the boxes. The restaurant is small, including bar seating, tables, and patio seating. LEGO walls, TVs, and some video games make it a great spot to bring the kids. They have an extensive selection of mostly hot dogs, from Seattle style to Chicago style to ones topped with macaroni and cheese and Doritos and even chicken tenders. You order the food at your table but do need to go outside to retrieve it when it's ready from the mobile kitchen outside. The staff has been genuinely helpful and friendly, and honestly seem happy to be there, which is a rarity in food service these days and much appreciated. I have one, and only one criticism of Pints, and it is this: the dogs have no snap. Great flavor, great buns, great toppings, but no snap. Same texture inside and out, which feels more like a hot dog I microwaved at home than one from a restaurant. Personally, I want a casing that makes a sound when I bite into it, a little resistance surrounding what is otherwise essentially a tube of pate. Save the soft dogs for the kids, or make it optional, but would love something more robust! That said, I love this place so much I bought one of their hats on my first visit, so obviously wiener texture isn't a deal breaker!

Wow! What a fantastic experience! I am from Chicago and have not found a modern hotdog spot ANYWHERE! I had the Finn Dog and felt like I was back in my seats at Wrigley field. I tried your Cooper Pooper dog and loved ot as well. The chili, spot on! It is a little pricey but the atmosphere, service and bar made it worth it! Hunter was such a great server. Brett and Jeremy nailed it in the kitchen! We will be back!

I have always loved pints and quarts when I was in my younger years. I just found this place recently. Since it is owned by the same owners, I wanted to give it a try. I got the Mac dog with a side of fries. The gentleman behind the bar I remember from my days at pints and quarts and I apologize for not remembering your name! He was so nice and attentive. It was not busy when I was there at all. They have a nice covered outdoor area with a fire place. The hot dog was really good. It came with Mac and cheese, chili, jalapeños and cheese. The fries are battered which I love! Definitely a place to check out!

We really like this place. We've been here 3 times in the past 2 months. Not a cheap hot dog, but a great meal! They have a variety of dogs, brats and even vegan sausages (some of our family are vegan and love their Field Roast brand sausages). The buns are fresh and all of the toppings are good - Even the more "baroque" ones! Their fries are very tasty, rotating beers on tap. We'll be back. read more

Found this spot 3 minutes near my hotel as we just wanted something quick & the menu intrigued us. My rating would be lower had it not been for the I'm assuming manager. Tonight was busy for the worker on the truck & the "manager" kept checking in with us, even gave a treat & gift card due to the long wait. We were in no rush but definitely appreciated the check-ins . But here's where everything went down hill. Our buzzer went off, we go to pick up our food , the guy in the truck pretty much shoved the food out the window & we went to hand him a tip & he snatched it out our hand said thanks & shut the door in our face abruptly. We asked if he was okay & said we understood he was overwhelmed but to snatch a tip that I did NOT have to give is just rude. & to top it off the sloppiness of 1 of the hot dogs was WILD & they dogs were COLD. We waited about 30 mins for cold food. So between the attitude the worker put out / snatching / shoving food / cold & unpleasant presentation just gave a bad 1st impression to trying a new place. We got the Archie and the Hank as well as a side of fries. Both dogs were yummy, cooked perfectly, and I loved the creative options for toppings as well as substitutions of different types of dogs based on your preference and dietary restrictions. And yo, don't sleep on the fries. Crispy perfection. Service was excellent. She was on top of it as far as drinks and getting our order in timely. They have a physical menu as well as a full tap list via QR code at the table, but you're not required to use the code which I love. We sat outside and it was pleasantly breezy. Plus they have tents so you're not in full sun. It was busy on a weekday afternoon, but it didn't feel claustrophobic as everything is spaced out nicely. Super cool new joint. read more

This is a great little restaurant to grab a gourmet hot dog and a cold brew, and perhaps watch some sports. I had the Clark dog which has bacon as well as yellow and green onions on it. Substituted a bratwurst for the hot dog and it worked really well. They had dining al fresco as well as indoors. Lots of specialty dogs to choose. Can substitute an Italian sausage or brat as well. It's a cool little spot that offers beer, wine and spritzers. Food truck is outside of establishment offer elevated hot dogs. Good process going lots of good choices to pick from. My only complaint is no hard liquor. So I ordered to go I live in Oly. And surprisingly it was still warm and delicious. A must try if your a dog lover. Did I mention u can bring your furry lover they r very welcomed outside on the patio. Very nice addition Good job read more

I love hot dogs! I was so pleased to find Pints and even more pleased to find that their hot dogs are awesome. I had the Roscoe and Iced tea for a late lunch. The hot dog was not some skinny, not big enough for the bun thing; it was big, fat and juicy. The toppings were house sauce, grilled onions and peppers and cheese and they didn't skimp on the toppings. The ambiance is that of a small neighborhood bar with seating inside and out. If you choose to sit outside, there are tables with fire inserts for warmth. The service was great. The kitchen is a food truck set up right outside the entrance and you pick up your own order. I definitely will be visiting Pints again! read more

Went there 3 times and was only able to get into 1 time. First time was because the parking lot was so full no parking. 2nd time the hot dog stand was closed due to overheating. Not sure why they didn't put a Airconditioner in the van. And the 3rd time I finally got into the place. Hot dogs were ok, and the beer was outstanding. But the selection was not great. read more

The hubby & I were in Lacey & looking for a place to have lunch. If you like craft beer & gourmet hot dogs, you should totally check this place out. Great dogs, brews, and outstanding service. I got the Archie dog with a red hot & my husband got the double dog with the all beef hot dogs, and both were delicious. We used to drive all the way to Tacoma for an experience like this, but no longer. Bonus: they have a few arcade games to enjoy , as well. Will definitely be returning soon. read more

My burger was simple with toppings but i think that's what put it over the top. I am not sure if it was but the blue cheese tasted homemade, it was one of the best burgers I have had in a really long time. Overall we had a really great experience and will absolutely be back to try more of the menu and drinks!

I ordered a single scoop of the coconut cream in a waffle cone. At first glance, the scoop looked a little small, but it actually ended up being a satisfying portion. Pricing also felt pretty fair; it's around $5 for a single scoop of ice cream, which isn't bad nowadays (considering the economy), and the waffle cone was only a little extra. They also offer some dairy-free flavors, which is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant, like myself (I still ignored my better judgment and went for the coconut cream anyway LOL). For my kiddo, I ordered a root beer float with a single scoop of cookies and cream ice cream shortly before I had to go pick him up from school, and he really enjoyed it as an after-school treat. While sitting inside, I noticed how surprisingly busy this place gets for an ice cream shop. The seating setup was nice too, especially the little single-seat table that worked perfectly for someone visiting alone like me. They also have a filtered water station available for customers, which I thought was pretty nice since I was thirsty after finishing my ice cream, along with an outdoor seating area if you'd rather sit outside. Unfortunately, the outside patio area doesn't really catch much sunlight, so if you're hoping to sit in the sun, the best spot is probably near the front entrance instead. The shop itself was also very clean. Whenever there was downtime, the staff stayed busy cleaning windows, making waffle cones, or working in the back. As for the ice cream itself, I thought it was good. The coconut cream almost had a slightly sherbet-like texture to it, but I actually didn't mind. The flavor selection had enough variety, and it looks like they rotate limited-time flavors as well. None of the seasonal ones stood out to me this visit, but I'd probably be interested in coming back around fall. I do wish they had more consistently available unique flavors though (things like matcha, taro, or Thai tea would be amazing). The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star experience for me was the customer service. It wasn't rude, just very flat and straightforward. From observing all the interactions, the staff was noticeably more energetic and cheerful whenever families or kids walked in. Meanwhile, interacting with me felt a little dismissive in comparison. Not a huge deal, but it was blatantly obvious, and I felt a little uncomfortable. Still, the ice cream was tasty, affordable, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough that I could see myself stopping by again someday.

If you're in the Lacey area you gotta check out PDH. 1st time for me. I've known about them for a while and finally got the opportunity to experience & taste what the buzz is all about. Being a Hotdog (Beef Only) Guy I wasn't disappointed. Didn't experience that snap when I took my first bite but that's just Me. The fresh flavor of the dog, bun & condiments made up for it. Let me say from the outset that I'm pretty basic a beef dog, good bun, mustard, relish & pickles with a light sprinkle of celery salt. Adding a lot of additional toppings isn't my MO. I want to taste the flavor so I can compare it to the other Hot Dog establishments in my travels. The grill man is Brit who let me know he would've served me inside but I hadn't eaten all day and couldn't wait, thanks Brit for assisting this Hungry Man. Brian one of the owners gave me a little history of PDH, thanks Brian. Nice establishment with an awesome covered & enclosed patio area w/fireplaces built into the tables (nice touch). My teenage daughter and I love to come here after errands or an appointment. It's a man-cave that's family friendly. Large TV's everywhere, creative decor. Games and entertainment for kids. An outdoor patio that is fully covered during the cold weather with fireplace tables that give it a cool ambiance. The staff are friendly, and they are quick to answer questions about their beer or cider. The menu is cool. It's all hot dogs and a couple bar food items. My daughter likes the pretzel sticks. I like the Big Tom's style sauce for my hot dog. You do have to step outside 50 or so feet to grab your own food from the trailer they use as a kitchen.
