My first time visiting the Taproom, I felt welcomed upon entering. They have a good selection of drinks from some from the local area. I ended up getting cider in a growler to go. I also met the owner, a cute little dog who's also on the label of the growler. I highly recommend this place! I also got the CEO of my company some drinks as well.

Great food and service with a view. Went twice to enjoy the stealhead and chicken meals. Liked tap beer selection too.

The Tap Room is a warm, welcoming pub in the heart of beautiful downtown Steilacoom. It features microbrews and an atmosphere that is conducive to small group gatherings like a book club meeting, Scrabble night with friends, potlucks with your neighbors, etc. Nona is very accommodating and occasionally opens her lovely pub for private parties. It's a small space (maximum of 50) but then "Great things come in small packages!"

Maybe a little bias, but I love this place. Great little German inspired Tap room with lots of local brews. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Enjoy yourself a cold beverage. Super friendly. Come in and support local business

Best place in Steilacoom, bar none. Cleanest beer lines and restrooms! Great selection of local brewers finest. Support small business. Drink local!

We (Dick and Mary Muri) go there about once per week due to it's great beers, at very reasonable prices and the nice quiet atmosphere. We usually bring a pizza to eat.

Incredible service, lovely owner, fantastic beers. The owner is knowledgeable and fun. Great place to take your farmers market meal and have a nice cold beer. Love it

Owner came and chatted with us for a bit and gave us some pretzels!

Nice hidden gem in a gorgeous town. Great beer selection, great owner, and a cute little pup that welcomes you at the door. No food, but perfect for a place to have a beer. We will definitely be back!

A bit on the pricey side though, $28, bit served fully loaded. The Mexican lager super easy to drink. I also had a sour. Definitely not over powered though. And of course I had to purchase a beanie. I have problems with a beanie obsession. Great views and worth a visit.! SY

The guy working the bar was attentive and got us our food from Hangry Bird next door. The stout was not to my taste. There was nothing wrong with it, but I wanted some darker, toastier notes and less chocolate, but the Mexican ale hit it. Well made, and the lighter sweetness hit the spot with the tacos from next door. I don't know if it was brewed with corn, as many Mexican beers are but it tasted that way with smooth, sweetness that didn't bite. Unfortunately, I only got a shot with my stout.

As for the beer they have a cross section of typical brews from a Mexican lager, Kolsch, Red Ale and a few signature beers. We tasted 5 of the beers and all were solid and freshly brewed. There was a menu and spotted some fried rice with a fried egg on top that we had to order since my wife is from Japan. The food passed her test and beer and atmosphere was A++. There's a few breweries, wine bars and distilleries within walking distance so definitely try a few of them when visiting Enumclaw.

I had a rhubarb vodka seltzer, which was definitely on the stronger side--maybe a bit much for a first pre-dinner drink, but that's just personal preference. Coming from a landlocked state, we had to take advantage of the seafood options. I ordered the salmon taco with a cup of clam chowder, and both really hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and it definitely fulfilled my seafood craving. For dessert, we had the peanut butter pie, which was delicious--light, not overly rich, and with the perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter. We thought about sitting outside but decided against it. The host took us to a table in the center of the room because all the windows along the windows were taken, still good views. Restaurant was busy - lots of people enjoying the weather, quite a few tables with kids. Ordered an Arnold Palmer ($6.50 - note the labor meant it was more than both the lemonade $5 and iced tea $4) and husband got Diet Coke. Also tried the fried pickles $10 and a salmon salad $34, husband ordered the big plate pan fried oysters $32 and inquired about if it came with sides. The server said it came with coleslaw and fries but could be replaced for just coleslaw or just fries or additional charge salad or chowder. He opted for coleslaw. Fried pickles were good, we were both a little disappointed they were sweet pickles but we liked the aioli. I was disappointed that my salad came with farro but the farro was like, a garnish? Crunchy small bits of farro. I make a farro salad regularly and it's so easy to have nice farro (cooked 30 mins then saved in fridge to add to salads). The salmon was cooked well. My husband was disappointed in his fried oysters. It was a big platter but mostly empty with a small pile of fried oysters and then a cup of red cabbage with some light dressing. Very disappointing plate. We had revolving sushi with our kid the day before for the same cost, and it was a better experience than our date night. Husband grabbed fast food directly after and I just wanted something more special when we left, but didn't figure something out before heading home. Service was adequate, drinks ran out but they did eventually refill. Wished I came by the end of March for the happy hour deals because this wasn't anything special. Definitely more of that overpriced family restaurant with views vibe. Don't go for food - stick to chowder and fish n chips. 3 stars because I probably will go back for views and I can take my kids there, if needed.
