I grew up in this neighborhood, when I found out that there was a bowling alley, that also had arcade games and two bars and a restaurant, I became very excited. I think it is hilarious that a new hangout spot could be located in the mall, but times-they are a changing. I've been already several times and each time I've had so much fun! This is a great place to take a date, meet up with friends, or even celebrate a birthday! There are meeting rooms out back, so you can also book out the rooms for any kind of work meetings or events. Also, there is a bar when you first walk in from the outside entrance, and also another bar when you first walk in from the mall entrance. There is a full restaurant, there are also two pool tables, four ping-pong tables, a shuffleboard table, and a huge arcade area. They also do karaoke nights on several nights a week. There is a huge room for that complete with tables, chairs, and a huge dance floor. There's also a Photo Booth, that you can choose different filters. Very fun! Parking is easy, you can park anywhere in the mall parking lot for free. To bowl, on weekends they recommend that you make reservations, on any other night of the week I would feel safe just walking in. You can store money on a playing card, and that's how you play the arcade games. They accept credit card or cash. Bowling is six dollars per person with a four dollar shoe rental fee. Very low cost, for how nice and brand-new everything is. There are TVs everywhere showing whatever game is on and also playing music. It's very lively, and fun. I highly recommend this experience for anyone in the area and also neighboring towns. It's different, there are enough things to make you feel like a kid again! Enjoy. read more

Located in a shopping mall that has seen better days, it offers a decent wine list, a not too shabby beer list and more than hamburgers and fries. Actually, about six different burgers, great chicken Cesar salad, fairly good selection of pizzas and multiple entrees. Plus a well stocked bar that serves your choice of drinks. Food is not so good but not terrible. They literally never have someone there to greet you and take you to a table. This is based on the three times I've gone. Had to walk to the bar tender and ask if there was a server or do I just sit? Then waited ten min to get menu and over 35 min to get sandwiches. We were one of two tables occupied it was completely empty. After all this I do have to say the games are fine almost all working but maybe two. Still awful. I took my son to play some games and grab a bite to eat and had to wait 5-10 mins to be seated while all the workers congregated at the bar staring at us chatting away. After being seated I had to clean the bench off that was filled with leftover food before I could sit down-nasty. I ordered wine the larger poor and actually received the correct wine-a first for Pinz. I decided to order a second to walk around with after dinner and it the amount was way different (less) than the first pour. The waitress took it back to correct and it took and unreasonable amount of time as I could see the manager on duty or guy with a mic chatting with her about it-sketchy. I didn't drink it as I did not want to risk being sick from whatever they chose to pour in my glass since I saw her duck down behind the bar with my glass. The manager seems to love his position of power with his peers and not making the customer happy. He is not doing a great job. We are really disappointed in Pinz. We use to go there every Friday for glow night with are kids. However the last month we have had gone 2x. Both times have been awful! First time the waitress insulted us and commented about how much food we ordered. The two pounds of wings is 12 wings at a price of 24 dollars. The food is way over priced and this last time we found hair in two separate meals. The manager was nice and comp our meal but they need to get together. I also saw our waitress put her full hand in the olive jar and dig out the olives and then not wipe her hands. They need to get there hygiene under control. read more

Very disappointed. I understand places are short staffed and it requires patience and understanding. I appreciate being told they were short staffed and the kitchen was behind. The meal was fine. Our waiter was very nice. At the end we ordered the $6 sundae for two kids to share. It came out 1/2 the size of the image and with one spoon. It was also pretty much melted. I had to go to the bar to ask for another spoon as I figured it would be completely melted before the the waiter came back. The bartender was busy talking with friends and could hardly be bothered. Then when I asked for a spoon she went to a coffee mug filled with pens and grabbed a spoon out of it. Visibly dirty and what kind of place is that to keep utensils you are using to serve the public? If I had to give this more than five stars, I absolutely would. But, I have reasons. 1.) Very clean: Not a crumb to be found in the place every night, which proves the staff works very hard to keep such a place clean. 2.) Caring staff: I tip my hat to Adam, one of the best servers at the place. He is always very positive when my group comes in on Wednesday nights. It takes a lot of patience to be a waiter, especially with a large group, but it seems like he knows how to handle pressure. 3.) Great menu selection: The food is reasonably priced and it is absolutely spectacular. 4.) Even better full bar: Adam, like I had mentioned earlier is always right on with the drink orders. Take, for example, last night: I usually get a Coors Light, but I felt like switching it up. I got a Grey Goose and Tonic with OJ last night. Definitely worth the $9. 5.) A great place to go with your family or friends. They have bowling (which costs to play and sometimes can be very busy depending on when you go) and arcade games (costs to play) and a bar with live music on Friday/ Saturday nights. They have 4 ping pong tables which you can play for FREE. When you bowl you can see your score automatically on the TV screen or you can watch the latest game, but best of all they have really good food. My favorite is the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad which they grill the Chicken well done. The kids love their Buffalo Wings. All in all a really fun place to go to as it pretty much has everything to keep you your family and/or your friends busy for hours and hours. read more

Been here before and last time it was awesome got beer buckets and bowled a few games. This time the waitresses and bartender here seem to be overwhelmed by 10 bar attendees. I waited about 20 minutes because I didn't wanna be the prick who hollers at the bartender eventually I let out an excuse me and she said they're we're 4 people ahead of me. I just walked away the dude to the left of me at the same time and got his drinks and then they asked the dude to the right of me so essentially I waited 45 Minutes for a beer and I'm even thinking of getting a refund on my second game of bowling. For example if you go to Main St bar and grill they have 3 young waitresses who keep everyone happy when there's a 100 sweaty customers, unlike here where there's 3 waitresses and they seem to be overwhelmed by the less then 20 bar goers. I started my Yelp account about 4 years ago strictly to leave 5 star reviews. I've only ever left reviews at 3 places I truly thought deserving. I'm a bartender I don't want to leave negative reviews, but tonight unfortunately I have to. I spent over a thousand dollars there for my boyfriends birthday. I probably would've spent much more if I even saw a waitress or bartender. I didn't have a huge party and it didn't seem all that crazy. I know it is hard to find help after covid but this was absolutely unheard of. The few people in my party that were drinking waited at the bar for half an hour before getting their drinks, which were almost fully paid for by the person before us who felt bad we were waiting so long, and then an additional half an hour to pay for the remainder. It was honestly embarrassing having a birthday party there (not even a large one) and hearing everyone complain. The brown haired bartender looked high. And when I approached the other one to please ask to pay unlike everyone else just walking out on their tabs she gave me attitude and said "well idk what the fuck you had". All of their attitudes were despicable. Who I believe to be the manager (or the only person that payed attention to us) then called me "sweet pea" when I complained and told me to "rock on" after saying the whole experience sucked. They simply did not have a care in the world. I love bowling and I love arcades. It sucks that they just give that little of a shit about their customers. I would absolutely positively not recommend going there ever and that kills me to say. I am a very patient person dealing with the restaurant industry because I completely understand it. Went here with my boyfriend this past Monday night. Got there around 7:30 and sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice, sorry I didn't catch his name. I got the chicken tacos. They were better than I have had anywhere. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and he was very happy with it. We played three strings of bowling and it was such a fun time. I'm still sore from that! The waitress did not offer us drinks even though she served others so we just went up to the bar and got our own. No biggie. Next time we will go a little earlier and play some arcade games too. They have a scratch kitchen there, meaning everything is made in house. I'm not sure why they don't advertise that more or I guess at all. The only reason I know is because we walked through there around Christmas and go talking to the manager and he told us. Overpriced "bowling". $7 a game to bowl on a lane which I can't slide on because I'm afraid to fly and land flat on my face to try and hit pins with strings on them is the biggest ripoff going since Bernie Madoff's ponzi scheme. If there is an error in the scoring you can't correct it yourself either. If you don't wanna bowl feel free to play their overpriced arcade games or eat simlarly priced food and drinks. Save your money and go somewhere else to have the same amount of fun for a fraction of the price. PARENTS- If you were to take 2 children there just ONE game of bowling would cost you about $44 for 2 kids and two parents on a night after 6pm. You could give each child an arcade card with $25 of credit on it and I guarantee your children will spend the entire thing in 15 minutes. This place=money pit. You WILL NOT get out of here without spending $100 without your kids complaining. If you want to eat there and grab a drink with your family, bowl a few games, and watch the kids play in the arcade you can EASILY blow $200. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Four of us went last night. We first put our name in for a bowling lane - two plus hour wait but It was a very busy night so the wait was understandable and didn't bother us. We sat down and had dinner while we waited. Food and service was really good! (Odered the Asian stir-fry, buff chx mac&chx, cheeseburger and the philly cheese steak). The bowling itself was FUN! Can't beat being able to order drinks from where you bowl! As for the location - with the trend of getting away from indoor malls we were very happy to be able to walk around the mall after dinner, before bowling. Good evening at first off very nice employess and Fon, Kelly, Frank and Jessica excellent bartenders and workers. But bad management serviice this past thursday. I complianed about the karoake dj and Bill said it was between me and the dj. I had to wait 1 hr 45 mins to sing and he would not let me sing anymore songs cuz i gave him a bad review at a different restaurant. and he dragged it on all the way to pinz. its time to get rid of the dj he is rude and not friendl. SO I will not be back until u fire him, the dj is Brandon. so dont go to karoake. I email pinz and they told me they will call me and now its been 3 days since i email pinz. the week before he made my friend cry and treated disrespectful. so get rid of Brandon. Also wanted to let you know I always thought customers come first if they have a complaint about anything I or and other customers are not satisfied. This place has amazing potential. The staff are 50/50 here, some are awesome but some are terrible. The manager seemed very nice but some of the servers are awful. They hired kids who are very young and inexperienced and apparently provided zero training before allowing them on the floor. They need to implement a zero tolerance policy for cell phone use of their employees. They are very inattentive at the lanes. Also, they need a better system for waiting for a lane, maybe a buzzer system because the cell phone system is just flat out bad. The staff continuously mess up the que and give tables and lanes away. I gave this place 5 visits before writing this review. If I was an investor in this business I would be LIVID at how it's being run... if any investors are reading this review get in there FAST and real these employees in, they're going to loose your money. read more

My husband tried to surprise me with axe throwing/bowling for my birthday, we show up 20 minutes before we are supposed to and check in, at our reservation time (8pm) the 16 of us line up, they then tell us we are supposed to have ore signed a consent form that was emailed to us. No one ever asked my husband for an email address. They then made us sign a consent form on an iPad that the keyboard barely worked on, 45 minutes into our reservation we start axe throwing, cool. We also had bowling lanes rented. We ordered food, which came out colder than your refrigerator. Their solution offer a 5$ arcade card. We are paying about 10$ per drink and they can't even serve hot food, or handle a reservation made 30 days in advanced. I will never be back. read more

This is probably the worst bowling experience I have ever had in my entire life. To start the place isn't even PBA regulation, the lane breaks after every time you bowl. Took me a good hour to bowl one game. Every worker in their is WACK, the bartender WACK the girl working the arcade WACK, the server double WACK she asked us if she could cash us out when we just got there so she could go home mind you it was 10:35 and the place closed at 12. The janitor WACK there was urine all over the floor and the walls in the bathroom I mean come on what kind of place is this. And don't even get me started with the short bald dude working up front he's the biggest dumbass out of all of them just completely obnoxious and utterly poor quality service. We came to Pinz for a casual birthday celebration. They accommodated a large party by setting aside high top tables that seated 25. The atmosphere was great! You could play in the arcade, shoot pool, bowl, or just enjoy the live band. Wait staff: Our waitress seemed irritated all night. Two women in our party were pregnant and asked for mocktails and she said "yeah we just don't do that." She forgot to bring drinks to our table but we were still charged for them. She was annoyed with members from our party using the bar rather than her. When I questioned a menu item when it came out, she said "that's just the way the gluten free pizza is." Note: don't get the gluten free pizza! The 16 inch hand stretched dough is actually more like 8 inch single serving pizza. Towards the end of the night she didn't come around much, so I just closed out my tab even though we would've had more drinks. Another waitress, Sarah, checked in to say hi and she was extremely pleasant!! Management: The manager on duty was wonderful. When he saw my gluten free pizza he was surprised at how it came out so took it off the bill. He also checked in with us regarding speaker volume amongst other things. He was fantastic. Food: The gluten free pizza was less to be desired. My husband got a regular cheese pizza which we shared with the table. It was okay. I wouldn't go back for the food though. Our team had a great, late afternoon outing on a recent mid-week day. We had no trouble booking 2 bowling lanes in advance thanks to Alicia, and had excellent service from Dylan and other staff. There were a couple of issues with the scoreboards but Dylan was a great help and made it right. The food was good - decent selection of pub style foods. I've been here 3 times and I can finally leave a review. Pinz is located at the Kingston Collection (With a mall entrance as well as their own entrance to the parking lot.) There are multiple things you can do here. You can grab a bite to eat, drink at the bar, Bowl, play arcade games and more. This place is huge and they use the space well. I've been there for bowling mostly and have had an awesome experience every time. They have nice lanes and up to date technology. Electronic score keeping. They can even set up bumpers or not for each person bowling. You can order drinks & food while bowling and the servers are very attentive & sociable. The food is good too, normally most places have fast food level but this is way better. From apps to sandwiches & pizza it's all great. During bowling there are 4+ TV's to watch sports & videos. There are other TV's in the two bar areas as well. The arcade area has an array of different kinds of games. They work by putting money on cards which is better than tokens plus they keep track of tickets you earn from the games. Plus they are part of Kids bowl free program. They also have live bands, karaoke, and other events. So if you're looking for a great place to bowl and/or play games, come to Pinz. read more

So the atmosphere looks fun, but they lie. $6 per person per game is a lie. Somehow for five of us for two games ( approx. $60 bucks) and they justified charging my card more than $100! That also charge $4.25 for shoes per person. Then we asked the shoe desk to put up bumpers and they told us to ask the waitress. So we did. Then the waitress called the shoe desk to put up the bumpers. Oh and an hour plus wait with empty lanes in front of me. No greeting. No welcome to Pinz. Understaffed. Overpriced. To be completely honest I do not think it could have gone any better. My entire staff gave me great reviews on everything from food and drink to the entertainment. You guys definitely have your bases covered when it comes to hosting an event. Our waitresses didnt miss a beat and were on top of any and every situation they faced. Had such a great experience at Pinz for my husbands Surprise 30th Birthday Party! We reserved 2 private lanes for 2 hours that can accommodate up to 16-20 people to bowl which included rental shoes for all my guests and they also set up a few private tables near the stage for us, where they had 2 live bands playing that night. They also provided a private server all night that was outstanding, she was very accommodating and offered great service. They also allowed me to bring in decorations, balloons and a cake for the event. We had such a great time bowling, dancing and enjoying each others company at Pinz. The food/drinks and service was excellent and I found the prices very reasonable. We loved it and would definitely have another party there in the future, I would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

Been here 3 times, once just for lunch food was awesome had the burger with the egg on it with no bun and a salad it was delish, also ate 90% of my kids fries which weren't mine so means I still are healthy annnnd they were amaze balls. Just went again tonight Tuesday let me tell you!!!! First is all we had Mary again, she met me once a month ago and remembered what I drank!!!!!!!!! And I only had 2 glasses that's amazing!!! She was wonderful, fun, relatable and polite!! Amazing server!! We bowled and Tuesday's is happy hr 50% off apps till 6 so we got fries pickles which we all loved. Then it as 1.50 tacos sooo goooood we got beef and fish. My little one got the 5$ burger bc it was national cheeseburger day and it was massive!! I needed a last minute plan for a place to have a party and Alicia in their party planning group made everything so easy considering I was booking the day before the event! On the day of the event the server assigned to our party was equally wonderful. I kept adding on items that I originally didn't order and she rolled with it.
