When we got to our room we were initially concerned about noise because it was along a high-traffic corridor for guests heading to the restaurant and main lobby. As it turned out, this wasn't an issue at all. The positives: - very convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone - just drive down the street and you're there - short walk to all the restaurants and shops, though probably every other hotel in town is also a short distance away - super friendly front desk staff, easy to reach with questions - free cookies in the lobby (and they are delicious!) - very good breakfast buffet with hot items that changes a bit every day The less positive: - the rooms and furnishings are very dated, but clean - not enough seating for everyone - just a couple small arm chairs and a desk chair - the toilet/bathtub room is a little cramped, and the shower head is low so taller people will have to stoop - air conditioning was temperamental. We figured it out eventually but the first night was a little uncomfortable - bath amenities were a little spartan. A fresh bar of soap for the shower wasn't provided for our stay. It would be nice to have a separate conditioner because the shampoo/conditioner option wasn't all that great The cost of our three-night stay, with breakfast included, was about $1000. Given that we were there in the summer season just before the end of the school break, it wasn't entirely unexpected, plus we had two rooms and three large beds total. It was worth it.

We were able to see the upper part of Yellowstone one day, the lower part another day, and then use the rest of our time to revisit and explore the places we wanted to see more deeply. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Another nice touch was the fire pits, which they turned on around 5 p.m. each evening. It was a fun and relaxed way to meet some of the other people staying at the cabins. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. It's walking distance to everything in town - shops, restaurants, groceries. It is across the street from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center (great for a rainy day or a break from the part). You can't beat the location. It is very close to the Museum of Yellowstone. It's next door to a McDonald's (yes there is a McDonald's in West Yellowstone!). I considered getting a two-bedroom suite at the Hotel, with a full kitchen before I decided on the cabin. The cabin had a bit more space and some privacy. This stay was for 3 adults (myself, my husband, and our adult son). Cabin #17. We stayed for a week mid-September. The cabin was well maintained, and the one issue we had, was fixed the same day (while we were out of the cabin). The kitchen is small. The refrigerator is a mini-undercounter type, so don't over buy food that needs refrigeration. There is plenty of cabinet space for dry goods. There is a cooktop with two burners and a tea kettle. Perfect for quick breakfast! There is also a coffee make (drip type). Some pots and pans (see photos). Plates mugs and glasses. Full set of flatware with Openers. Cooking Utensils. Toaster. An ice maker, that was very nice and we used it. Small dishwasher. There is dining table/chairs. You have a sofa, chair, large coffee table and TV trays. The TV trays were older, very heavy and hard to negotiate. We decided to just stick with the coffee table. The beds were very comfortable (one King and one Queen). Both had closets. Bathroom had a very small vanity but several cabinets to store our stuff. Definitely only one at a time in the bathroom, just too small. The sofa is a sofa bed, but I can't imagine putting more bodies into this smaller space, even kids. Housekeeping stopped by most days and we just asked for what we needed. We didn't need much other than towels. Staff was very friendly and helpful along with the front desk staff when we checked in and out. There is a fire pit outside that gets lit every night (including when it's raining) with chairs surrounding the pit. The rooms are stocked with S'more Kits (more available at the front desk) and that was a nice touch. We did make S'mores one night! Definitely if you are traveling with kids they will enjoy the firepit and S'mores! The cabin was pricey especially since this was Shoulder not High season considering the size. However, there isn't many other options. We liked being a short walk into town, and believe it or not we even went to McDonald's!

House was well maintained and we had no complaints. One small suggestion would be if they could put out a garbage disposable outside or behind the house that can be easily identifiable. We initially struggled a bit to spot the garbage disposal box.

The kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc. I was especially impressed with the quality of the pots and pans, very nice for a rental. The cabin also has a full sized washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The WIFI was available, but I have to say it is not very fast. Considering the location, this was not too surprising. There were no problems with billing, or unexpected charges. Overall a great choice for a large party, I highly recommend this location!

We stayed in room 106 and was surprised at how large the room was (King). The bed was super soft... too soft, but surprisingly we didn't wake up sore...in fact we slept quite well. We could hear the neighbors upstairs the first night. There must have been a gaggle of kids jumping off the bed for a few hours straight before they called it a night. Other than that, it was pretty quiet. Breakfast here is good and free! Parking is limited but we were able to park literally right outside our door both evenings we stayed. The room was clean. The only thing we had to ask for at the front desk was lotion - there was none in the room. Tons of counter space near the sink in this room. The plug in the bathtub was not working, so my partner couldn't take a bath. If you're a shower only type of person this won't impact you.
