The showers are nice as well for great grooming, and the lockers are very nice with the workers alawys making sure it's clean. Finally they have a gentleman that does a complete 30 minutes body scrub and he is excellent. I've tried two others in the past one did it in 10 minutes and said he finished. The other was 15 minutes horribly bad both of these two previous scrub dudes felt that they didn't want to do anyone that wasn't Korean or Asian. This new guy takes complete 30 minutes and it's through all professional and leaves you squeaky clean. I usually go early morning. Now, to my 1 star comments. Don't usually go late but a couple of times arrived after 6pm. A young kid worker possibly the owners son whole purpose is to harassed clients rushing into steam room, sauna, sleeping room. Accusing of improper conduct even if nothing is happening. I can't help but to show endowment and he has a problem with naked large penises as he this yesterday he did not tell anything to the Asian guy that had his hands in his crotch but he was stupid enough to confront me cause my legs were open. He reached to my arm to see locker number. I could have reacted as he reached onto my body but didn't. Later, he went into sleeping room to simply harrass patrons. This young man sole purpose is chasing non Asians from room to room. The other workers focus on cleaning facilities which is the reason why I like this one over others. The best body scrub and shiatsu massage I've ever had. I loved how clean and tidy everything was. The Saunas were great though the hot/cold tubs were a bit shallow, they were enjoyable. I especially loved all the signs explaining the need to shower multiple times, while also conserving water. It was also amazing to see the cleaning crew hard at work every hour. I was enjoying scrub and massage since last year because their rate are little cheaper than other. Recently, they changed the price from $95 to $100 for scrub/massage which it was ok to me. However, they changed the service time from 80min to 70min and receptionist never informed me. I just realized after I finished my massage done. I got a scrub and massage. The scrub is done while nude in the wet area and the massage is done in a separate area while wearing your provided uniform. The lady that did that massage was absolutely great. A full 30 minutes and she really worked the knots out of my back. I won't give it 5 stars because the steam room is way too hot. The sauna is the perfect temperature. The spa itself is a little small but I didn't feel like it affected the spa experience. I wish the restaurant was open as I'm a huge fan of Korean food, but it wasn't - I'm assuming because of lack of staff. Being nude in the wet area makes it a fantastic experience. Just finished my body scrub and massage and I am so pleased with my entire experience. Yes, the place is smaller as compared to other Korean Spa's but all the necessary amenities & services are here! It seems due to COVID some services are limited but that didn't get in the way of having a relaxing time. The facility was clean and only 1 other person was there as I was walking out as I was was there which is good. I believe this is because they're doing by appointment only so call ahead. My masseuse did well on full body and I appreciate that she focused on my neck and got all my knots out ‍ I also enjoyed that during the end of my massage she put a cucumber mask on me which smelled so fresh and she used milk to bathe which helped my skin feel so soft! I appreciated this as some places charge extra for milk and masks Also, pricing is different than I saw on the picture someone else posted on Yelp. I paid $85 for the body scrub and massage (80min). I have been to several Korean spas including in K-town and Garden Grove. Wanted to try Pioneer Spa just for comparison. Pioneer is very clean and well organized. There were very few people (on a Friday morning) which was nice. I had the 80-minute scrub and massage for $75 which is about the same as other spas in this area (less expensive than the spas in K-town). The lady was a bit heavy-handed with her massage but overall it was a good experience (comes with hot milk massage and cold cucumber facial as well). The common area is co-ed and has many rooms (jade, oxygen, salt, clay balls, ice etc.) which was nice. But I didn't stay because I was hungry and their restaurant looks over-priced ($17 for an entree!) so I left and went to eat across the street. read more

Still smooth and I'm working on the relaxed part. Afterward I went to the steam room... fantastic feeling! Then I tried all the rooms they have for a few minutes- I suggest the hot ones first then end in the cool room... reenergizing!!! Take water with you but leave it outside the rooms. Ahhh can't wait to go again. Maybe in another month since it can add up. The cost to use facilities is 25 alone. However if you get the scrub and massage, the day spa is all included in the 95. I booked two body scrubs and two massages, for my partner and I, they were both decent besides the fact that the person running this establishment was pretty rude when I was trying to ask questions on what to do and where to go as I have never been to this type of spa before. I saw a man giving oral sex to another guy in the steam room and another guy giving oral sex to someone else in the dry sauna. THIS PLACE IS A DEFACTO gay bathhouse. Me and my partner were there to relax not be amongst that like, I don't understand why the owner doesn't do anything or understand this. THATS WHY I WANTED TO LEAVE. I love this place and spend as much time as I can there. I've been to several Korean spas and this is my favorite. The men's area is spotless, the staff is cleaning it constantly with pride in their work. The steam room and sauna are rather high heat which I love. The scrub here is the best I've ever experienced. The co-ed area is lovely. The pink salt room, gemstone room, geranium clay with beds of hot marbles are my favorites and they are beautiful as is the ice room with white and clear rock walls. As a musician I appreciate that it's quiet with no annoying background music. I bring a book to read in the co-ed area and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived! read more
