This included the cart that they went in. Great course the greens are top notch and in beautiful condition. There was a sign I read when we drove up " Maine law you are prohibited to take your own alcoholic beverages in your cart". On that note I am glad we live in Florida. They paid their fees and are allowed to take the cart over to the car to get their clubs. Some courses back home this isn't the case. By far this is more convenient and user friendly. They have great facilities on site to get drinks and food. As well as clean rest rooms. On the course itself they have a restroom around the third hole. It would probably make more sense further down. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. The other golfers were very nice as well. However the only other women there worked in the restaurant. So ladies if you are looking are where all the men are you can look for them here.

Me, Ben, James & Molly all played here on a Sunday morning. Just on the foothills of the White Mountains so you get the tee box elevation on various holes. Some very beautiful views of the White Mountains from elevated tee boxes and a few elevated greens. Wide open fairways and greens that were all in great shape. The favorite was #10, Par 3 with elevated tee box & beautiful views. Don't be long or you'll be down the hill & pitching up a steep grade. All the tee boxes were in great repair and well marked. There is a restaurant attached with a nice view from the outside patio tables. You can view the short Par 3 10th hole from the patio which is entertaining. All the Staff were great and it all combined for a fantastic experience.

From start to finish, from the very first time we viewed the venue, until months later- our wedding was seamless, amazing, and most importantly, stress free. The Red Barn was the first venue we looked at. We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony, outdoor space for cocktail hour, and a beautiful, big room. The Red Barn checked all the boxes. We put down our deposit the very next day as we knew this was a venue we did not want to sleep on! Planning was SO easy and straightforward. As soon as we booked, we got set up with the amazing Alex, who was going to be our day of coordinator. She was communicative, helpful, and patient. She responded quickly to every annoying query I had, she kept us updated with our timeline of planning, and she was understanding when oopsie- we missed the tasting we were supposed to go to. She graciously set us up at the next one with no questions or drama. The planning process was very smooth due to Alex's expertise. The rehearsal was stress free and straightforward. The day of our wedding was more than we could ask for. Literally everything went to plan due to Alex being so on top of everything. She was kind to the many personalities in both of our families and felt more like a friend to us by the end of night. I cannot say enough good things about the Red Barn as a venue for a wedding. It is absolutely gorgeous, I feel like we did not need too many decorations as the venue itself is stunning. The food was delicious! During cocktail hour, it felt like there were so many servers with so much food, on top of the stunning cheese and fruit display. The kitchen was also very helpful and sensitive to the allergies in our group- one being my husband who had a nut allergy. The drinks and bartenders were fabulous- we told Alex that our group drank a lot of espresso martinis and the bartenders were ready when we started ordering them. AND they were delicious to boot. The staff was fabulous! All of the servers were professional and personable. The price for everything and the many options for food and drink were well suited to many budgets. I could gush for many more paragraphs about how amazing this venue is. Alex and the crew have made the Red Barn into a well-oiled machine. I cannot say anything bad about our experience and I know I can attribute that to them. Our guests are still talking about our venue months later. If you want to have the most amazing wedding day at a beautiful venue with wonderful people, do yourself a favor and book the Red Barn. You will not regret it. This place has nostalgic written all over it…read more The condos (or apartments, however you want to view them), are all red and white and have a "Swiss" look about them. Apparently, when you live there (which some people do) you are required to keep 4 window boxes on your deck (which everbody has) filled with red and white mums. This, I thought at first, was a bit over the edge. Then I realized, it really makes the place look like a nice community. Very quiet and nostalgic both inside and out. I came during the summer (obviously), and the fact they had a golf course on site was a great plus. About $20 each to play their small nine holes. You're not going to get to pull out the "Big Bertha" on this one, but it's very nice for your (if you have them) hybrid irons or low irons. I used the pitching wedge a lot on this course, some lofts (beware of the sand traps as well). If you play through the whole course, on the 7th hole you can literally drive (if you want) with the 1 Wood all the way to the 9th, it's a straight shot. If you're not down for that it's about a 70 yard hole to the 7th green. Very roomy inside, very quiet and pleasant on the outside. People were nice, it was like being in the cape. Everyone said hi to you as you walked by and the elderly (or not so elderly) walking by the course offered a few tips on my swing as we were playing through! ha! 10/10
