The tray for the afternoon tea was so sparsely furnished with little food. The bottom tier contained one ham croissant cut in half and two small avocado toast. The middle tier was a 4 macaroons and two small dried out scones. The top tier was three one ounce glass dishes with sauces in them, maybe 1 tablespoon per dish. The tea itself was a pot of unfiltered water that tasted like well water. Overall, after paying with tip and tax $100 for two- it was outrageously overpriced, and under provided for. We traveled from Chicago for this and expected some pastries, fruit, and more finger sandwiches. Very disappointing. Oh, and I forgot to mention, Housekeeping was running a leaf blower to clean the carpets outside the guest rooms that were adjacent to the patio.

At over $1.37 per wing, I had high hopes these pricey wings would be worth the cost. And then this is where things went quickly downhill. The kitchen in this bar is small and they do orders one at a time, no batches. I had no idea that when I ordered there were multiple large carry out/door dash orders ahead of me, which meant I had to wait over an hour for my order of wings. Thankfully I had time to waste while watching the game, but no order of wings should take that long, especially without being told about the extraordinarily long wait when I ordered. I will say, once my order arrived, they redeemed theirselves. The wings were large, perfectly fried (tender, juicy and not one bit over cooked) and they were tossed evenly in the flavorful and unique dry rubs. Absolutely no complaints, just pure satisfaction. Okay, okay, they are still pricey, but if it wasn't for that long wait I wouldn't have been bothered by the final check. Station 20, please work on those wait times or find a way to handle in-store orders separately from your door dashers. Solve that issue and you would one of my top wing destinations.
