Cozy bar with lots of locals! My husband and I came here the other night after seeing a local horse show and we were sure glad we did. This place is visited by locals that are super sweet and welcoming. We had a blast talking with locals and telling them about our travels. We had an absolute blast! The staff here is great, and the bar food is delicious. Great place overall, we will visit again soon!

Stopped by this bar very late. Bears fans walking into a hole in the wall Packer bar. We we completely welcomed! Wish we would have found this place earlier! We wanted to buy the locals a shot and they ended up buying us one! Definitely coming back. Fun people, great local small bar feeling. Made me feel at home. Loved it!

Read a review from a few months ago. Decided to take a chance. The food was amazing and we are tough critics when it comes to bar food.

Everything was greasy goodness and made to perfection. Also, I LOVED that the bloodies came with olives stuffed with little pickles. I ordered a beer at the bar with the friendly bartender while I perused the menu at a table. I decided on their traditional bone in wings, 12 for $16.49, split between their applewood dry rub and their honey bbq dry rub. At over $1.37 per wing, I had high hopes these pricey wings would be worth the cost. And then this is where things went quickly downhill. The kitchen in this bar is small and they do orders one at a time, no batches. I had no idea that when I ordered there were multiple large carry out/door dash orders ahead of me, which meant I had to wait over an hour for my order of wings. Thankfully I had time to waste while watching the game, but no order of wings should take that long, especially without being told about the extraordinarily long wait when I ordered. I will say, once my order arrived, they redeemed theirselves. The wings were large, perfectly fried (tender, juicy and not one bit over cooked) and they were tossed evenly in the flavorful and unique dry rubs. Absolutely no complaints, just pure satisfaction. Okay, okay, they are still pricey, but if it wasn't for that long wait I wouldn't have been bothered by the final check. Station 20, please work on those wait times or find a way to handle in-store orders separately from your door dashers. Solve that issue and you would one of my top wing destinations.

The atmosphere is old supper club vibes and relaxing making it a great spot out after a lake day. What really stood out were the Wisconsin old fashions - brandy, sweet These were some of the best I've had in Wisconsin. The food was great for the prices and really appreciate what they are doing so well. There is NO reservations and the wait will be at least an hour. Be ready to wait. Fortunately they have a bar on the lower deck overlooking Lake Como to have a drink while you wait. Also they have a boat cruise that docks right at Mars to take while waiting. If you are driving here, parking is not good. You will have to park far away and most near by lots ban parking to Mars. Drivers be warned. Overall, the service was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the experience exceeded expectations. Between the stunning lake views, great cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Mars is a must-visit whenever you're in Lake Geneva. Highly recommend!

We waited for 45 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it with live music and a Santa Claus walking around to entertain the kids. Tremendous bartenders and friendly staff made the wait short. Food was executed well with great sides and excellent cocktails. A solid fish fry with lots of options and a great coleslaw. My wife loved her ribs. This definitely feels like the sort of place that only locals know about and everyone is welcome. We would highly recommend.

When you live in the southwest burbs of Chicago and you have a free Saturday with nothing to do,…read moreyou grab a friend saddle up and drive 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Boars Nest just outside of Darien WI. There are multiple ways to get there however I opted to take highways as much as possible, turns out that was a mistake as a overpass was blocked off and under construction but we where undetoured we had to drive around 10 miles out of our way and our persistence paid off. When we saw a replica general less sitting atop the roof we had a pretty good Idea that we had meet our destination. Walking in the front door you see a typical county pub but with a massive horse shaped bar in which all of the patrons where gathered around during the lunch hours, the reswt of the bar was strictly dukes of Hazzard themed with autographed picture of the cast on the wallthe menu was on the wall very large and in your face upon entry I browsed it thoroughly looking for their signature dish which in this case was The Boss Hog Burger 1/2 pound precooked ground beef topped off with onions bacon and ham served on a hoagie bun.... this was gonna hurt! My friend James just ordered a casual burger with fries not to be out done I added fries to my order. The drink selection was pretty good for rural bar about 5 domestic beers on tap and large selection on bottle, when our burgers where brought out there where gasps, at the bar "what the hell is that" "holy shit who ordered that" and my friend says I will be impressed if you even come close to finishing that. I accept his challenge and the game is on! 20 gut busting minutes later I have one of the best burger I have ever eaten destroyed on a few stands of onion and a couple of fries remain, I am victorious! a few patrons nod in acceptance of my accomplishment I ask for some extra napkins and promptly excuse my self to the restroom (no I did not Puke) it took a lot of beer to wash that greasy mess down and I really had to go! not to mention my hands where so greasy I could barely hold my beer! The total bill for our massive meal was $34.00 that included 5 beers and my $10.00 monstrosity of a burger. a fair deal, we walked out the door bloated messes, I serously thought about eating vegan recipes from here on out but it was so worth it, neither of us ate the rest of the day, the next time I return I will be getting something smaller I have my eye set on there garbage pita.

I came in with a friend for lunch this past week, and I was excited to see a chicken parmesan sandwich on the menu that I could get with grilled chicken instead of crispy chicken. I thought the sandwich and fries were great! Just a note about the marinara sauce: it is chunky, so if that's something you're not a fan of, I'd recommend trying a different item.
