Loved this little off the beating path bar!! Beautiful view of Lake Delavan with a nice deck out back to hang out on and enjoy the weather. Service was outstanding with a very friendly staff! Food was decent but wouldn't go out of my way for just the food. A great atmosphere with Golden Tee and several tv's to watch all the live sports! Looking forward to returning soon! read more

It's a great place to go in the summer. The views of Delavan Lake are spectacular. There is a lot of outdoor setting.

Not so hidden treasure on Lake Delevan. Quite visible from the lake, and you can dock there if space is available. Not easy to find on the road is you weren't looking for it or didn't know it was there. Ambiance is tremendous. It's enjoyable sitting outside at the bar on a nice day and fun inside as well. Servers ate always on game. Menu is not robust but there's enough options and everything we've tried is enjoyable. Cheese curds and burgers are always a good choice. read more

Worst service I've ever had... Was never greeted by anyone. Never had one of the multiple servers to our table even though we watched them serve other tables. A table that arrived 15 minutes after we ordered got there food before us. Still there waiting for literally any service from any server and watching other tables wonder where a server is. read more

horrible service! Not only was my fish and chips were burnt but the server was horrible! First and last time I will be there! we decide to give a small tip and here the server goes out to the window when we leave and waves the tip! doesn't matter how much the bill is! it is how you treat a new customer ! 3 stars to mediocre at best food and not at all good service, but 5+ stars for location, location, location. This is a great place to have drinks on Lake Delavan on a sunny day, not a great place to come if you want good food. We'll be back, just not for a meal. read more

I have eaten here a few times but probably the first time I wrote a review.. the place is nice right on the water with a great view.. great drinks.. but I after eating here today I felt I needed to write a review because I was a little dissapointed in my burger.. it was so small probably a 1/4 pounder.. Ah! I have so many great things to say about the Inn Between! Their menu is not that extensive, yet there is something for everybody to enjoy! A special place to have a drink and view the beautiful Lake Delavan! It is a little place, but with a lot to offer. The inside is always decorated and has tables that face the water where you can watch the wildlife. The atmosphere is fun, especially on game day. The food is better than expected- the brat bites and the burgers are good. On game day they have brought home-made chili, cheese, and salami for free. Overall, very welcoming! read more

Great spot that one could easily drive right by. Very popular with locals. Limited yet perfect pub menu. Both patrons and staff are friendly. Outdoor bar and deck offer great views of Lake Delavan. We were out on the lake and parked our boat on their dock, came up and got some drinks and food to go! This place was great! Drinks were refreshing and yummy! Fun atmosphere. Decent pub food menu. Friendly staff. This place is great to hang out at in the summer especially if you arrive by boat and are fortunate enough to find an open pier docking spot. Still great fun even if you B arrive by car. Family friendly with a huge sandbox on the front lawn and a bags game set up. Outside tables and chairs in warm weather are serviced well by their staff. read more

Awesome!!! Great views. Just grab a seat, have cocktail and enjoy the sun and views of the lake. Oh and have a burger they are great. Apptz have all been great. The perfect lake bar. Elizabeth is awesome. Entertaining and makes incredible drinks. Such a doll. The whole staff is genuine and works hard to keep the drinks flowing even when its packed. Elizabeth got me hooked on Red Bull/cherry vodka shots. Yum. Now if they will just have the soup when I am there and not run out of fried green beans! read more

I literally gasped out loud when 'Inn Between' popped up as a place I should review... I can't believe I hadn't already considering it's one of my favorite bars. Not just in Delavan, but of all time! I vacation in Delavan a few times a year. I basically grew up on the beach at Assembly Park and in the local bars. This one is above and beyond. You have to make this your local watering hole. The staff are awesome, the selection is exactly what you need, and the prices are good. The food is okay, but hits the spot after an afternoon on the boat, when you are looking to continue your buzz and get some bar food in your stomach. read more

I don't know why this place has bad reviews.....The service was fantastic and the beer was cold...what more could you ask for???? We stopped here when it was supper crowded and the guys behind the counter were so attentive I was blown away. They were getting slammed and the bartender still came out to the patio and checked on us to ask if we wanted any more drinks. They have a good selection of bottled and draft beer and the view of the lake is fantastic from the deck outside. We even sampled some of the pizza. I think it is frozen but they put it in a pizza oven and it tastes pretty damn good when you get it. Overall, this is a great dive bar to get some drinks, sit on the patio, and just enjoy the view!! read more

This place is a real dump with high prices and unattractive bartenders with cheap tattoos. Bathrooms are gross and stink. Girlfriend had to leave and find nearest McDonald's to go. Food is fried fat and great if you need a cleanse. Pass on the dump read more

Has a great view but it stops there. The service was so bad. I was there with 2 other people and had to wait and wait to get service for 3 drinks and there was only a handful of people in the place the bartender would rather talk with friends then serve the customers. I finally got out drinks and talked to other customers and they also had to wait. I decided to go get another drink and had to wait once again then my friend came up asking what was taking so long. Then 2 other people came up and started to wait with us. Bartender looked at me and I started to tell her what we wanted to drink she then told me that the other guy next to me that just walked up was here 1st. I said are you joking. But she wasn't. I think if this place were just sitting on my neighborhood corner in Chicago it wouldn't resonate so highly with me. As it is though, the Inn Between sits about 300 feet off of Lake Delavan. This makes it just about the perfect place to tie your boat up to after a long day of frolicking on the lake, and head inside for a few beers. The setup is simple. There's a nice outdoor patio in the front. Inside, a row of bar seats, two tables in the back, a couple tv's, a juke box, a pinball machine a dartboard and a golden tee. Maybe the Inn Between just piggybacks off the awesome lake atmosphere. But I have never been here and not had a good time. read more

** Update ** Last 2-3 times I've been here it's been a disappointment. Steak sandwich hubs ordered was inedible. Burgers were greasy. Service non-existent. It's sad because this used to be a fun place to hang out by the water but seems like everything went downhill in the summer of '14 It really should have just one star but it IS still on the water, which is probably giving it more than it deserves. read more

What's not to like. Bar on the lake. Park your boat. Get some decent bar food. Cold drink. Everyone is happy and friendly. Hey, you're in a bar...on the lake. It's nice to know some things don't change and the Inn Between has been going along, being itself. And when they do make some adjustments, it's always for the better. Like adding Tiki bar or bags in summer. Great place to stop and make friends. Keep up the good work. And in the winter, don't miss the softball tournament...on the ice. That is not a typo. Went here over the summer but after all day of being out on the boat, I don't know if it was the alcohol or the sun. But I do remember that was the best greasiest food I've ever had in my life. The waitresses were obviously doing the best they could, and you could tell they were young and doing it as a summer job, so I had no problem with service. The atmosphere was relaxing as well. Normally would be 4-5 stars but no longer will allow carry out food to your boat. When asking the bartender he would not explain but said we'd have to bring our family up and eat at the table for us to dine at the restaurant. It's unfortunate because it is a great location and provides a unique atmosphere to a lake community. Disappointed in the establishment to not have a set response as we didn't seem to be the only customers attempted this. read more
