Delicious fish fry. The appetizers offer a nice variety of options while you wait on your food. The menu offers a good selection as well, some sandwiches, burgers, and much more. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they bring you extras or condiments moments after you ask for them. Doesn't take 15 minutes to get a side or sauce for dipping or another drink. They are on top of it and show that they care and are paying attention. The bar is long and spacious, offing plenty of seating so you don't feel like you're on top of the person next to you. There is a nice amount do tables that gives the same feel, no one likes to be packed in a small space like sardines. read more

A group of us have eaten at The Watershed many times before and have always been very satisfied. We especially like their dinner specials! For New Year's Eve we asked if they could do something special and they outdid themselves. We had Prime Rib, it was delicious. They also provided Ahi Tuna for our vegetarian friends! We chanced upon this place after a custom gate installation in Delavan. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful both in suggesting adult drinks and dinner items to try. We chatted with both Abby and John throughout the evening. The cheese curds here are absolutely some of the best around to share and we ordered both an All American Burger and the Panko Breaded Fried Perch dinner with extra crispy tator tots. One of the worst dining experiences I've had -- and I've been a waitress for over 20 years. Our server was completely disengaged from her job. She spent more time outside smoking, eating food off other people's plates, and taking shots with other patrons than doing anything close to serving. After taking our order, she never checked back in. No refills, no updates, no attention at all. I know what good service looks like--and this wasn't even close. Abysmal would be putting it politely. We have always liked The Watershed for all their menu items. Arrived there this past Monday at 6:30 with 4 of us. It was pretty crowded, but there was an empty table being cleaned, so we sat down. We come here at least once a month. Food and service always good. We all had steak special on Monday and it was delicious as usual. The review is for our server (Tara, Kara??). She worked the bar and restaurant all by herself as someone called in sick. She was an absolute joy, never cranky, always checking up on us and did it all with a positive attitude. Lake Geneva has a handful of restaurants and we go to the same 3-4. Gets boring. Queue up the trusty yelp app to the rescue. Would never have know this place exists on the south side of lake delevan. Good selection of taps and bottles. Saturday night was streak night. $13 for a 10oz strip with sides. Tasty, and perfectly cooked. I really was not expecting this place to be a 5-star experience, but holy cow- they do things right here! Come for the beer and stay for the food- this place is better than any other bar food in the Delavan area, hands down. 6 of us came in after golf, and we were hungry and ready to drink after taking an Uber. I can't recall the bartender's name, but she was awesome.... totally set us up with some great appetizers (the pretzel, cheese curds, wings, and the loaded tots). Yes, it's bar food that anyone can schlep out, but this is also easy to be mediocre or totally F-up... these were all perfect. Great beer selection and the main entrees were fantastic too. Some of us had fish fry, I had a chicken sandwich, and a few guys got burgers... just damn good food. Reasonably priced, too. No, it's not Michelin-star dining, but when I'm in Delavan I just want awesome food like this after playing outside all day.
