My friend and I popped in yesterday for the first time. There are many places to grab a drink but there's something about Kimkasi Pub that feels more special. Outside seating that is dog friendly. Cool bar, craft beer list is limited. Their homemade pretzel they give you are very addictive as they described. Worth checking out. read more

This a new place to the lake Geneva area. They cater to the mature crowd. They approached us with a smile and a bag of homemade pretzels. They were a welcome sweet spicy salty treat to the night. The cocktails are amazing! The bloody Mary comes with a side-car of beer of your choice. The gimlet came with a cucumber liquor that is amazing. I forever now will order a gimlet wherever I go. The dessert menu should not be ignored. I imbibed in a PB&J cocktail. The flavor was 100% a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I can't wait to come back to LG just to come here. read more

This pub is such a stellar addition the Geneva Lakes area. Located just north of the Abbey Resort, Kimkazi is that rare establishment that welcomes newcomers like regulars, and regular like family (well, if you actually get along with, and like, your family!). Every group receive Kim's pretzels, which are excellent & have a pleasant sweetness with just a hint of cayenne. They go well with the well crafted cocktail list. Old fashioned fans will find a plethora of variations, and people with a sweet tooth will be pleased with their selection of after dinner, dessert worth martinis. The summer menu has an ice cream drink of the week (while supplies last), so don't miss them if you have a sweet tooth. The real reason we go back is that Kim, Becky, Connor, Lilly et al make every patron feel appreciated. It is impossible to enter, or exit, the bar without a smile and words of acknowledgment. Nice, mellow spot with a good selection of beer and cocktails. This may be a back-handed compliment, but it was great to get to a bar on a Saturday evening without having to fight for attention. Our server was prompt and friendly, and we didn't have to wait for our orders. Capacity is probably about 60, give or take, so you can have a conversation without having to shout and order drinks without having to shoulder past anyone--a great blend between busy-ish without being crowded. read more

A very welcoming and warm atmosphere. From the moment we walked in to when we left we were well taken care of. Cocktail menu is great and there are other choices like beer and wine. Even though they don't serve food we asked to bring in pizza from down the street (Little Bar) and they supplied us with plates and napkins. The complimentary pretzels were amazing. I never make Yelp reviews. However, if I could make this more than 5 stars I would. I came in and immediately was greeted by a bag of homemade pretzels that would put Dots pretzels out of business. For years, I have been going to Pier 290 for pain killers. I was told by a friend to try the Kimkasi pain killer. So... every time I drove by, I shook the steering wheel, anxious to try this perfection of a drink. Well, one day I walked over in 90 degree weather with 100% humidity to try this bad boy. I took one sip and that was the end of the night! Amen to the Kimkasi pain killer and of course the pretzels. If the CEO of Target took a bite of these bad boys Kimkasi pretzels would be on the shelves of target nation wide. 6/5 try this place. read more

We live in Woodstock and try to go whenever we can . It's a 30 min drive not far but enough to say let's just go local. Now when we want a good drink and great atmosphere and a staff who generally love being at work we go to Kimkasi Pub. The specialty drinks are always amazing . The homemade pretzels are worth the trip also. All the people who go there are so nice. I guarantee if you go once you will be going often. read more

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. Great wine by the glass and beer selection. So many options! Awesome, modern industrial farmhouse sort of interior but still very comfortable, warm and inviting. Atmosphere was fun but laidback, great crowd, and the bartenders were attentive and very friendly. PLUS, they have TVs!!! My husband was THRILLED to be able to watch the game while we hung out. Perfect spot to grab a drink before dinner and to end the evening with a nightcap. Both owners were there and so friendly. Also, the location is perfect and walking distance for all of the Fontana restaurants and lake front. Highly recommend this place!
