Fantastic miniature golf course near Icon Park. It is pirate themed with a Captain's Course and Blackbeard's Course. Most holes are par 2 with a few 3s scattered in. Blackbeard is definite more challenging as even the par 2 holes are more difficult than that of the Captain. The walkway through the course has plenty of ups and downs. Also the pathways are narrow so those using mobility devices will not be able to get around. For a single adult I paid $20 for the first course and got the second for $10 (paid up front, not after completing the first course). In all I really enjoyed playing here. Some of the holes could have been a little longer and a few more par 3s would have been nice. read more

Adventures in mini-golf, or put put if that's your vernacular! Exquisitely designed course with challenging obstacles. Lots of scenery throughout so there's plenty to look at while awaiting your turn. A bit pricey (over $20 a person when we went) but I guess that's standard now for places like this. AND, it IS International Drive so you can expect an inflated price. Word of caution: there's like 150 steps here, some steep, so if you have elderly family playing or anyone having a difficult time climbing stairs this is not the course for you. read more

Went to Private Cove in Orlando and it is good for what it is but very overpriced, though most things in this area are. It is just basic mini golf with a cute and cool course, but nothing to write home about. If you want a really cool mini golf experience, check out Pop Stroke. This place was fun! Went with my husband, they don't serve alcohol but they have sodas. We did the 18 hole and had fun. Nothing was super challenging which was nice. They really went all out with the decor and the staff (front desk staff in particular) was extremely efficient and pleasant. Pirate Cove was fun! For a Friday night it wasn't very crowded, we only had to wait for the next hole a few times and not for very long at all. They had a ton of ball colors to choose from and provided pencils and the score cards too. They have an easy course and a hard course, it was great! read more

We ended up doing the difficult course and it was so much fun! The layout is beautiful and it truly does look like a Pirate's Land! The aesthetics truly take you to another place, while having such a good time golfing! There's a section where you go inside of a cave as well, which just adds to the already amazing dynamics of the course! A great course for all ages. Brought my 9 year old daughter and we ended up coming back the next day to play the second of the two courses. Clean and well maintained with lots to look at and fun challenges for the holes. I went to Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf with my family of three on a Sunday afternoon, last month. The location was in walking distance of the Embassy Suites location on International Drive and on the same side of the street as several food options. It was affordable and challenging enough to keep us entertained for 18 holes. It was pretty warm out there, so I recommend purchasing water or bringing your own to stay hydrated because most of the course is under direct sun (aside from one or two holes that were covered within a "cave"). I was able to score one hole in one! My son really enjoyed it. I came here on a date, and it was such a great experience. We came on a Thurs night and it was empty, we paid very quickly and went on our way! I felt like the price was reasonable for the experience I received. The course was just hard enough where we didn't get any hole-in-ones, but didn't have a crazy high stoke count! The decorations were all themed and I felt like the course was kept up well. Some of the holes had really fun challenges to get to the finish, my favorite was going inside the cave! We climbed to the top of the staircase for one of the holes and it gave a beautiful view of the surrounding area, it was a great photo spot. There was a side game on the scorecard where if you brought it back, you got a prize at the end. They had live gators to feed or hold, we didn't pay to do the extra but enjoyed looking at the gators! We saw other miniature golf courses in the area but none looked at interesting and as clean as this one. And all the reviews were pretty good. I have to admit I had no plan too play miniature golf My kids and husband wanted to play a round and my plan was to just watch and keep score for them but the staff said they do not allow anyone to just watch. I questioned it and they even said they will not even allow a group of kids to play without all the parents paying too. It's been a long time since I've played mini-golf and this was really fun! It wasn't too crowded when we went, but there were a good amount of people. I like that it was 18 holes and different challenges with each one. The only thing I'll say is that one of the holes, you're going to get it in the water, there's no avoiding it. This is a fun course that if you go during the correct part of the day/week, you should be able to get in and play without too much trouble. Located on I-Drive, near The Wheel at ICON park, this location does have it's own parking. I do suggest you stay away on the weekends - specifically in the evening - because you will be waiting awhile to even get to play. We enjoy coming here during the daytime, usually early afternoon on the weekends or during the week when nothing else is going on. The course itself gives you 2 options to play - an easy course and a hard course. We have done both and enjoy them both, however our kids prefer the easy course. We had to separate half way through the course because the rules blah blah blah no more than 3 ppl per course. I didn't like it but I m the calm one in my family.... We walked through caves, under waterfalls, and over bridges to putt our way to mini golf glory. The landscaping here is gorgeous, with water hazards everywhere and lots of fun pirate art, sculptures, and pirate folklore everywhere. You'll also see a pirate skeleton and a big pirate ship. They have two different eighteen hole courses, and for the most part, if you can putt the ball straight, you'll be OK. Some of the holes have water hazards, and quite a few have banked curves, tunnels, humps and bumps on the fairway. Some of the courses will have you leaning into the water to fish out your stray golf balls. Just one word of advice, the center of the course has a pretty high elevation, so if anyone in your party has mobility issues, he or she will face some serious uphill and downhill staircases.
