    Meat and cheese piroshky
    Barry B.

Stopped by and picked up a meat and cheese piroshky for lunch. It had great flavor and was filling. Glad there is one in Kent.

    Yummy as always!

Their piroshkies are good, drove over there today. Online said it was open, nobody working at 12:30pm, no signs up and no lights on.

I had a cream puff, an eclair and a fruit tart and they were all fabulous. Sweet but not too much and the pastries were perfectly flaky. Also, the cream puff was way better than Beard Papa. Nice, clean modern place and the lady who waited on me was lovely. If you like baked goods, go here!

We stopped by and when you enter, the smell inside is absolutely heavenly. I don't think I have ever entered such a wonderful smelling bakery. We were greeted by the sweetest female employee who was patient with us while we were trying to decide what to get. It was still really early so we weren't super hungry for sweets so we got a cream puff each. I got the pandan one while my boyfriend got the regular one. They were absolutely perfection, the filling was super yummy! I want to come back to try their other flavors. The macarons looked amazing and they have quite the selection as well as their cupcakes too. I will have to stop by more to get some more sweet treats. They have cakes too or you can order them as long as you give a few days heads up. They have a counter top to enjoy your sweets right away. They also have napkins just in case as well. They don't offer crafted drinks but had a few drinks in their fridge.

The portions were satisfying, the food was fresh, and there wasn't a single thing we tried that disappointed. I also really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. It has a comfortable, upbeat feel that works perfectly for brunch, whether you're stopping in for a casual meal or getting together with family and friends. The staff were welcoming and made us feel taken care of throughout our visit. It's always nice finding a restaurant where the food, service, and atmosphere all come together, and this place definitely delivered. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious brunch and a great dining experience. Definitely adding this one to my list of places to return to!

Was disappointed with the service and food. This place was giving a glorified ihop. I got the eggs florentine, my husband got the salmon eggs Benedict. Large portion but the flavor was okay. Not really worth the price. If you are a Blood Mary fan I definitely skip it in this place. Was extremely disappointed by the size of the drink. Matter of fact, I thought I was being punk'd lol. Our server came by twice. One to drop the food and the second to grab payment. It might have been an off day or something but I don't think I'll be back.

The Highlights * Croissants: Unbelievably flaky, buttery, and fresh. * Pistachio Apricot Tart: Absolutely amazing--the nutty pistachio paired with bright, sweet apricot was incredible. * Pizza: Don't sleep on the savory stuff. The bakery-style pizza has a great crust, delicious sauce, and generous toppings for a perfect pre-flight lunch. My favorite bakery in the most dangerous location in Burien…read more Not dangerous because of crime. Dangerous because it's directly across the street from my gym. Nothing says "great workout" quite like immediately replacing every calorie you just burned with one of Bakery Nouveau's twice-baked chocolate croissants. I prefer to think of it as strategic carbohydrate replenishment. Everything here is exceptional. The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree. Bakery Nouveau is worth every extra minute on the bike.

The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.
