    Dulce de leche shortbread cake

Cute little spot with a patio close to Allan Gardens. The staff were very friendly and the food was even better. We got the ceviche Classico, seco de Cordero (braised lamb shank), and a dulce de leche dessert. We got the ceviche medium, but I asked for the spicy sauce on the side. Next time I would ask for spicy. It was really tasty and added a nice little kick to it. The braised lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and the rice and beans with it were so good. The dessert was something they had just made and it was pretty heavy with layers of Dulce de leche between shortbread, but it was well worth it. I would come back and try more dishes next time.

It's open on Tuesday, despite the posted hours. Excellent food. We each had a pisco sour. Then we shared a causa de atun. Then we shared a duck/risotto dish. It was amazing. The owner/server was the best.

Been hearing a lot of buzz around Pisac. Tried it for dinner and thought it was pretty good. We got: - Ceviche Mixto: Good level of spur, generous amount of seafood. - Choros a la Chalaca: Never had this dish before and thought it was interesting. Steamed mussels were good quality. - Lomo Saltado: A tad too chewy and salty for my taste, even by lomo saltado standards. - Arroz Negro: A but heavy on the risotto and light on the seafood. But loved the squid ink. - Tres Leches: Star of the meal. Decadently milky and smooth. Place is narrow but we'll laid out. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are what prices are these days. An ok stop if you want some Peruvian fare.

Amazing Peruvian food - from appetizer to dessert was impeccable. Highly recommended! Servers are friendly and willing to provide more info about the food. Attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The seat is not the most comfortable especially the booth side is almost the same height as the table.

    Simply amazing chicken dish

What an experience! The trifecta was perfect: great service, fantastic food and ambiance. I ordered the chicken dish and it was phenomenal! The passion fruit pisco sour was a delicious complement to the meal. Although they were closing, they let us talk for a while and did not rush us out, which sets them apart from other restaurants. I will be back for more authentic Peruvian dishes!

Walked in without a reservation on a weekday night and was given the option of patio seating which we gladly took. We had the pork tamales that was on special, Jalea de Mariscos (deep fried seafood) and the Parihuela (seafood stew). The pork tamales was unfortunately underwhelming, as we had expected some pork in the middle but was only able to find one piece after digging around. I did like the pickled onions on top as it gave it some interest. The Jalea de Mariscos was good, as I've never had whole mussels deep fried before. We asked for some extra tartar sauce to pair with the dish, as that was the main source of flavor. The Parihuela was good as a tomato stew, but was missing the depth of flavor I would expect for the amount of seafood in the dish. Overall okay.

I was able to snag an early same day reservation. The place is somewhat similar as the last place that occupied this space in terms of setup. There is minimal seating space and the menu is limited which is fine. We ordered the following Octopus Ceviche (Tiradito de pulpo) Potato with eggs (Papa a la Huancaina) Whole chicken a la brasa (comes with the side of fries, yucca fries and rice) The wine list is OK the beer list was limited to one. The apps were nothing to write home about. I recently had a very good ceviche which packed a flavor punch. The chicken redeemed the meal here for moi. Nice moist chicken and a nice flavor punch. My dinning friend rates the flock chicken highly found this to be better. The sides were OK IMO though unseasoned. (dips helped) Priced reasonably IMO for a whole chicken with 3 sides as I have had it way worse for a lot more at restaurant in a hotel that covers all seasons :) Service is OK (kind of off-putting initially as the manager/owner was unpleasant IME)I might revisit to try the chicken again.

Amazing food. Very interesting taste mixed or spice, freshness, sweet, sour. Feel like being in the tropical, smelling the sea, feeling the breeze while emerged in the warm and rich spices. Very nice little spot. The people here are very nice and vibrant. Service is awesome. Nothing pretentious but quite tentative.

Parihuela (w onion + tomato added at home)

Loved the yucca "fries". Also got the Parihuela (seafood soup). Definitely had a few chili pastes in there, and maybe achiote, though I didn't taste the chicha or lime juice. Flavour could have been more complex. Would've enjoyed more onion in the soup (no veggies at all), so I added red onion and heirloom tomato. It was decent. The seafood was fresh. It came in a plastic container that I'm pretty sure is NOT for boiling hot soup but nut butters, etc. They defo need some sustainable packaging and one that doesn't half melt when trying to get the soup out. I'd like to see a soup with yucca in it, too!

The food was pretty good, I love seafood so their menu definitely appealed to me. We got the octopus which was my favourite, their ceviche tasted good but could have had more protein, their yuca fries were yum and we got their sweet and sour wings which I'm not sure if I'd order again but for a one time thing-we thought they were a fine appetizer

Me and my partner had our eyes on this restaurant before it even opened. We waited a whole 3 months to be able to eat here and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The ceviche carretillero and mixto were a 5/5. As a Peruvian, I value homemade-style dishes true to their origins. Pisac was able to take me back home with a few scoops of ceviche! The "Seco de Cabrito" was exceptional. This plate is from my hometown and I was delighted to find a restaurant that can pull off such authentic dish. All the plates had generous portions and the drinks were very good. I recommend trying the Chicha Morada Pisco Sour and the Pismojito. I have been to almost every Peruvian and Peruvian-fusion restaurant around and I cook a lot of these plates at home. I am comfortable to say that all Peruvian restaurants in the GTA are truly great, however, Pisac takes the cake!

I've actually had Brasa previously many years ago for a Yelp event but this time I decided to stop by the Queen St. location to grab dinner. Their menu boasts unique flavours where ingredients are fresh and nutritious. I decided to order a bowl from their phone app where my order was made in about 15 min. Upon arriving at Brasa, the space is accessible where the cashier/food counter area is to your right. On the left there is bar seating where you could enjoy your items there. I mentioned to staff that I was there to pick up my food where it was already made. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17. I had the bowl for dinner and it felt super healthy with the quinoa, avocado, and tuna! The ingredients tasted great together and the crunchy corn added a crunchy textural element to the bowl. Overall, a healthy alternative in the Queen/University area!
