Famous Cebiche of fish and sea food..really good

My husband were looking for a Peruvian restaurant and we found this one that is authentic. The Cebiche and sea food was great is was 100%Peruvian authentic. The rice with sea food was really good as well. The sizes of both are vary well and you don't end feeling that you will be hungry later. The price was good por the the dish that the serve. I sill definitely come back you try some other dishes

The Stage . I guess the place has a live band playing on some days.

Adventure time! My husband had been wanting to come to Aldo's but only now we had the chance. I will not be writing a long review about this restaurant but I must say, we had an amazing meal. I shall let you try this place out and share your experience here.

Steak & egg, rice, fries and salad

Food was good, pretty basic. But you get a whole plate of food and it was still pretty tasty. Waitress didn't really check on us, and it was pretty quiet in there.. anyways the steak was thin but yet still really flavourful. Good to try this place out once or twice but wouldn't constantly think about returning.

Can't remember the name, but you can find it in the menu. Yamyyamy.

Wonderful food and environment, boss is very kind and helpful. Well matched my appetite. Strongly recommended.

Arrow de marisco and the soup with fried shrimp

Came here for the first time just to check it out. I got the arroz de marisco it was okay not bad, not great. I would y order it again. My bf got the combo the civeche was good, the soup was a tad salty and the fried shrimp were good. We would come back to try other things on the menu maybe. It was also very cold inside they didn't have any heat on. I wish I wore a heavy sweater

    Entrana with rice and salad.

Delicious and good quality. Well priced compared to other Peruvian restaurants in the city. Fridays its karaoke and it gets packed. I am definitely going back.

Okay, honestly, this place really exceeded expectations. I worked at a Peruvian restaurant for…read moreyears and constantly seek it out in any new city (I've also been to Peru). Their piscos were great, and I didn't see you could order a PITCHER of chicha until it was too late, which I totally would have done and enjoyed a booze free meal, but the pisco was def worth it. They give you cancha to start, which I can eat all day (we asked for extra to eat with the ceviche) Onto the food. The ceviche was decent; we got the trilogy to try a few different kinds, but it was a little hard to tell the difference between the three (assuming rocoto, aji Amarillo and plain); the yuccas were also fine; I wish they were a little crispier, but they were definitely tasty. I wish we were with a bigger crowd so we could try more things. The entrees, though, were EXCELLENT. First and foremost, their tacu tacu is HUGE. The biggest I've ever seen, and the entire thing was the perfect texture, despite being the size of a guinea pig. The seafood was not overcooked, which is really hard to do in a stew. Really impressed. Then their pollo was also just as great; their chicken was tender and the sauce was really great and soy sauce forward (which I love. My only gripe is I wish they mixed the French fries in with the sauce so they can get coated in it. Call to make a resy if you're going because it fills up, and with food this tasty, I can see why. If we are ever back in Toronto, we will be returning here!

Best decision of my recent trip to Toronto was to visit El Inka. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon…read morejust around 1:30pm. The restaurant was not busy at all, which for me was perfect. I was dining solo, and just really wanted to experience some good Peruvian food that I haven't had in a long time. I ordered from the lunch menu and opted for two lunches - gluttonous I know - but I wanted to try the Ceviche de pescado and the Aji de Gallina. I asked about Chicha Morada to drink, but it hadn't been prepared yet, so I had maracuja juice (passion fruit). First of all, the ceviche was outstanding! It's a simple tilapia, but it was so perfectly prepared. I loved the little sweet potato garnish, and the tangy flavor was spot on. I felt like I was eating the ceviche I had back when I was in Peru. The server also brought a small dish of Peruvian corn (crunchy corn kernels) with my drink while I waited for the entrees to come out. These were perfect little snackers! The Aji de Gallina came next and it was also exactly like the homemade aji de gallina I had at the home I stayed at while in Peru. It was so reminiscent of homecooked food, and it was exactly what I wanted. Of course, I couldn't finish it all, and my server boxed it up for me to take home. Speaking of my server - a HUGE shout out to Alessandra who was so kind and friendly. Since the restaurant was relatively empty I had the opportunity to chat with her more than I might normally chat with a server. I ended up showing her photos from when I was in Peru and about being in Toronto for the day. I was just very excited to find authenitc Peruvian food since it's not something easily accessible here in my city. Alessandra was a delight, and she even sent me home with some extra Peruvian corn for a snack which I happily ate on my train ride home the next day. She definitely didn't have to do that! I really hope that I get a chance to visit this restaurant again! Also, as an American, the prices were really good. I spent only $34 USD for two entrees - so if in a normal situation when I wasn't over eating, I could easily have had a $18-20 lunch that was filling and delicious.

We came here as a group of 10 on a Sunday evening and had a fantastic experience…read more My partner and I shared: - Alitas de Pollo (nice balance of dry and saucy, slightly spicy wings) - Ceviche Carretillero (my least favourite dish of the night as it was a little too sour, and the fried calamari was an interesting topping admist this raw dish. The sweet potatoes surprisingly worked well though) - Parihuela (not as well-rounded as a French bouillabaisse, but still delicious with a variety of seafood) - Chicha Morada (delicious purple corn drink) Portions were pretty large, so I'd recommend ordering family style to try a few different dishes. Food was not a 5/5 for me, but service was above and beyond. Upon arrival, we had given the staff a cake to serve after our meal for a friend's birthday. We had the candles in our bag, and were planning on pulling them out when we were done our entrees. The owner, assuming that we hadn't brought our own candles, went out and bought candles for the cake during our meal. We were stunned when we found out! They then portioned out the cake perfectly after we sang happy birthday. We also didn't realise we had stayed 30 minutes past their 9pm closing time, and they never nudged us to leave. It seemed like it was the owner and his father running the restaurant, and I felt very well taken care of. I'm already looking forward to returning to Pisac in the near future.

I've actually had Brasa previously many years ago for a Yelp event but this time I decided to stop by the Queen St. location to grab dinner. Their menu boasts unique flavours where ingredients are fresh and nutritious. I decided to order a bowl from their phone app where my order was made in about 15 min. Upon arriving at Brasa, the space is accessible where the cashier/food counter area is to your right. On the left there is bar seating where you could enjoy your items there. I mentioned to staff that I was there to pick up my food where it was already made. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17. I had the bowl for dinner and it felt super healthy with the quinoa, avocado, and tuna! The ingredients tasted great together and the crunchy corn added a crunchy textural element to the bowl. Overall, a healthy alternative in the Queen/University area!
