I use Pilates as a sort of physical therapy as I am recovering from a back injury from heavy weight lifting. I feel strengthened, stretched and realigned after Misha's Pilates classes. Recently we did some spinal decompression and my back has never felt better! Misha's enthusiasm is contagious and her knowledge is abundant. What a scam. This club tried to scam me for three hundred dollars. I had been a member there for…read morethree months. They told me there was no cancellation fee after three months. When I emailed them in advance to cancel, they told me someone had signed me up for a new contract one month after I'd already been a member there for a month. So they signed me up for two contracts in a one month period, and told me too bad about the first month it didn't count. So they wanted four months of their 200 dollar contract and when I tried to cancel they hit me with the hundred dollar cancellation fee. Scammers. So I do not even want to go there anymore now. They snuck in an extra month to my commitment and tried to charge me an extra 300 in total to cancel. Well send me to collections and hire a lawyer to serve me and we'll settle it in court. Do Pilates, Get scammed. Update: Interestingly enough, I was able to get out of the contract. The trick is to say a few magic words to the lady on the other end of the emails. Hint: expressing that the contract is similar to the R word works wonders. Best of luck!
