However, my fears were soon set aside as Linda took my dog while I removed my board from my car and began putting on my wetsuit. Without me saying a word, she suggested walking my dog within eyeshot. Little by little, I started feeling more confident and was able to relax. Her suggestion of remaining close helped my dog to feel less worried as well as the yummy treats she fed her. What I found most remarkable about Linda was her flexibility. Like an expert surfer, she navigated the situation with ease, rootling through her trunk for a towel when I forgot one, finding water for my dog when she got thirsty, and safeguarding my car keys when I was in the water. All this while a wildfire was causing evacuations within a county of her house! Vacationing as a single person with a Border Collie is not without its challenges; thanks to Linda, I was in a better position to meet those challenges and have fun.

Thankfully Pismo beach veterinary was able to fit us in when we called despite being fully booked all day. They were wonderful, every single tech and vet we worked with was kind and efficient and took such good care of our beloved pet. Joanne and Michelle have taken care of our two cats multiple times over the past few months, and most recently Michelle noticed our elder cat with diabetes was not acting herself. She immediately informed us when her condition worsened, and after calling the vet to schedule a visit, and with practically zero prior notice, Joanne came and took our cat in. The quick response from Michelle and Joanne no doubt saved our cat's life, as she was starting to undergo diabetic ketoacidosis and needed to be transferred to the ER. Throughout the entire ordeal, they checked in with us as we rushed to come home early. They treated our cat as if she was a member of their family, and I'll always be indebted to their incredible compassion and care. With every visit, Michelle and Joanne always give us a quick rundown of how the visit went, and spend considerable effort to make sure both cats are fed and taken care of properly. After having experienced several less attentive sitters, the team at Posh Pet Sitting are simply among the best when it comes to caring for your pets while you're away. Along the way we got frequent updates, reports and pictures of our little guy off at camp. He was getting lots of love and attention and even made new friends. Thank you Gerianne for loving our dog and teaching him how to get along with others. We did not get to meet one of his favorite trainers Josué, but we are so happy with the results of the hard work Josué put in. The transition at pick up was done expertly by Santigo! He really made sure that we felt comfortable and confident when came to us taking over all the training our dog learned. Though overall our dog is friendly, she is stubborn and needed help to follow commands, stop jumping on people and harassing other dogs into play. DDG has the most amazing trainers. They worked daily with our dog at Doggie Camp for 28 days and never gave up on her. All of the staff told us how much they loved her and can't wait to have her back for daycare and boarding! We appreciated the detailed weekly reports on how she was doing. As a camper grad, we also have free private lessons at the facility for her lifetime! They told me though I was out of the country I had to pick up my dog as he was anxious anf snarled at someone I wonder he is a golden retriever. Was threatened that if he bit someone the dog police would take him and I would never see him again. I had made what I thought great arrangements for that time period not thinking there would be 60 dogs there on a noisy hot weekend. I suggest anyone thinking of using this place check long and hard into it. Thank heavens long distance I managed to have my neighbors help me!!
