However, my fears were soon set aside as Linda took my dog while I removed my board from my car and began putting on my wetsuit. Without me saying a word, she suggested walking my dog within eyeshot. Little by little, I started feeling more confident and was able to relax. Her suggestion of remaining close helped my dog to feel less worried as well as the yummy treats she fed her. What I found most remarkable about Linda was her flexibility. Like an expert surfer, she navigated the situation with ease, rootling through her trunk for a towel when I forgot one, finding water for my dog when she got thirsty, and safeguarding my car keys when I was in the water. All this while a wildfire was causing evacuations within a county of her house! Vacationing as a single person with a Border Collie is not without its challenges; thanks to Linda, I was in a better position to meet those challenges and have fun.

Though overall our dog is friendly, she is stubborn and needed help to follow commands, stop jumping on people and harassing other dogs into play. DDG has the most amazing trainers. They worked daily with our dog at Doggie Camp for 28 days and never gave up on her. All of the staff told us how much they loved her and can't wait to have her back for daycare and boarding! We appreciated the detailed weekly reports on how she was doing. As a camper grad, we also have free private lessons at the facility for her lifetime! Being very stubborn, he needed a full four weeks of camp, but came out as a very pleasant companion, obedient and easy to walk. The people at DDG are fantastic, very personable and great dog trainers. They kept in touch weekly, sending pictures, discussing the tasks accomplished and the problems to be worked out. Destiny was the sweetest, most loving person and groomer. I'm always a little anxious when I leave Buster with a groomer because he's so sensitive and anxious I hope he is not being mistreated in any way. But Destiny was the kindest, sweetest groomer I have ever met. I knew he was in good hands. Maddie was also the sweetest person. I recently moved from Florida back to California and I'm so happy that I found this establishment. They are also kind of out in the country in Arroyo Grande and it's a really pretty place. It's so much fun for her to explore new places and meet new furry friends. But sometimes, we need a little time for ourselves, whether it's a nice dinner or a special event. That's where Springdale came in. During a recent trip to the coast for a family birthday, we decided to board June for the night of the celebration. We went with the Silver package because we wanted her to enjoy group play and have a blast. While she clearly did, I wish we'd known ahead of time that the Silver package doesn't include a report card or photo or I would've upgraded to the Gold package for those little extras. We chose Springdale because we've passed by it so many times and always admired how spacious and clean it looks. It did not disappoint! The indoor and outdoor play areas are fantastic, include plenty of private quarters that I believe have heated floors. We loved seeing so many staff members around, keeping an eye on the pups and making sure everyone was happy and safe. Overall, we're really happy with our choice, and it's great knowing June had a safe and fun time while we enjoyed ours!

I explained some of the behavioral traits and she gave me the best advise. I highly recommend her as trainer. There are so many trainers out there and I can tell you as a person who has worked with over 10+ professional trainers that she stands out in level of expertise. She has a huge heart and is no non-sense when it comes to properly providing for your canine companion.
