Pit stop worker is on his phone while driving customer vehicle

If you bring your car to service here. please be careful! i say again careful on who you leave your car with. they will leave your car on around the neighborhood not reading street signs, getting vehicles tickets. will also leave vehicles unattended, big trucks go through the streets and unfortunately will hit parked cars. they will also double park in peoples driveways. They tend to blame neighbors for scratching customers vehicles

    Parking tickets to customers.

Customer cars ticketed. If you are leaving your car for repair overnight, they probably aren't parking them in their own private spaces but on public streets.

As well as submitted a claim below, I want to say that Nicolas is trying to solve part of my disagreements. I was totally upset with part of their job and treatment. Nicolas called me and he tried to fix our discrepancies in a gentle and calm way. We are still working to solve the small hole in my hood. He also was very concern to make me feel more comfortable, being more agreeable because the first time I perceived a comment no welcome. 12/29/2020 They changed the engine in my car and overlooked repairing the tension pulley that works with the motor. The car made a terrible noise and I had to take it back, I had to pay again for the labor, which is fine, what is not right is that they charged highly saying that they had changed the entire engine and everything that it had to do with the engine, leaving it in top condition. Not only that, my car left a small hole in the front lid and they left a piece of wood inside where the engine is that could have fallen while driving and have done irreparable damage to any part of the bottom where they left it pressed. When I took my car back, they just grabbed the piece of wood and put it away, and Nicolas, with an insolence attitude, alleged that they didn't make a hole in the top of my car because they don't have such carelessness. According to him, I am ungrateful because I complain after they gave me a "discount..." the deal was paying the whole cost in cash for them. That is the amazing discount, according to Nicolas that is a discount and for which I should not complain. Finally, Mr. Nicolas emphasized that how come I asked many questions and how come I did not realize the little hole.. That comment made me feel uncomfortable as a women. It happened between December 15 to December 28, and they have a week off in between. 12/28/2020

Spoke to Gerald and John in the phone, professional and helpful. Upon arrival, helped and consulted by Kevin and John. They were both honest in their diagnosis from my vehicle and provided their honest recommendations. When it comes to getting work done on vehicles, you need that honest approach. Thanks, yall! When I called, they told me to order the exact tires I wanted from TireRack.com and have them shipped straight to their shop. Once they arrived, I just called and came in. The tires showed up at 12:30pm on a weekday. I called, drove over 30 minutes later, and they took my car in immediately (no wait--first come, first serve). Within about 45 minutes, all four tires were replaced. Since it was my first time, they even gave me a $20 discount. Labor was just $159, which meant my total with tires and labor came out under $1,000. The process was easy, fast, and professional. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I was in and out quickly. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending them for tire installs. Only small note: the waiting room TV was on the news for 45 minutes, which was kind of a downer. A movie or music videos would've been nicer. That said, they do have free Wi-Fi, so you can work while you wait. Overall: great service, honest pricing, and a smooth experience.

This review is meant for a full set of tire replacements on 10/29/2025 and subsequent warranty…read morereplacement for driver side rear tire on 1/19/26. Invoices are attached highlighting the staff that helped as well as things I felt were important to highlight. Basically: the price-matching and the hassle-free warranty replacement (since damage was deemed irreparable). What isn't shown in the invoices is how attentive and considerate Mauricio (red shirt) was during my warranty replacement visit. Highlights: (1) he put my car in the system such that I would be immediately next in line as soon as the replacement tire came in, (2) spent considerable extra time with me to diagnose TPMS (tire pressure monitor) issues after the replacement, and; (3) made sure I had face-to-face contact with another red-shirt member (Sebastian) in case my TPMS issues were unresolved when Mauricio is not present. I did want to mention that it was extremely busy when I came in. It took me some time to actually get to talk to Mauricio specifically, but his professionalism was worth the wait. Lastly, I wanted to give a shout out to the technicians that actually serviced my vehicle on 10/29/25 and 01/19/26: those guys did fine by me. PS: Mauricio was right; driving a few miles fixed my TPMS issue. PPS: With the amount of construction in Millbrae and Burlingame, I'll probably see these guys again--when I do I'll be confident I'll be taken care of well.

I went back around 3:30 to see where things were at and to wait around for my car since I didn't have anything better to do. They had a line of 28 people waiting for their cars to be worked on. They were telling everybody, all 28 of those cars, that they would be done by 6 PM. There was a guy who came in to check on the car that he left yesterday, they told him his car would also be done by 6 PM. I believed them 0% that my car was gonna get touched this evening and I drove away after wasting nearly 5 hours, at 4:45, with a screw still in my tire. editing this at 6:40 the same day, they called because they were finally ready to begin service on my car. lmfao!

The last few times simple oil changes have turned into $500 services. I don't know much about cars and I do think they probably do OK work, but I feel like I'm being up sold repeatedly and taken advantage of. I won't be going back. The oil changes change price depending on who's at the counter. I bought my tires there so the tire rotation should be free but then all of a sudden my oil change is 40 more dollars than the last time. They had trouble getting a screw off the oil pan for my jeep and that turned into over $400 by itself. I'm sorry I cannot recommend them.

I was happy with the fast service and excited about my new wheels. To my fault, I took a back angle photo of the back right tire then left. Fast forward a week and not using my truck, I washed it. When I got to my wheels, I used a sponge and car soap. I see a black oily substance and scratches on the center area of one wheel. I inspected the last 3 and find all the same marks. I called Hanlon's and they told me to send photos. I did and had to call back over 30 minutes later to get a response. I was told by Rob, "the manager", that he would get back to me on the following Monday. Of course, he didn't and I had to call back. He told me he would get back to me the next day. Tuesday, 3 days after the initial call, I am given the "he's on lunch" excuse for the second time. I called again and I'm out on hold for 13 minutes and 22 seconds. Rob proceeds to say it wasn't their fault according to an online service "specialist". I then told him I'm coming in. As I drive in, I felt the hostility of 3 of his workers surrounding my truck, probably trying to justify their work was good and it wasn't them. Rob used a flashlight and inspected a couple of the wheels and proceeded to deny it. He showed me a paper of an email of someone else's wheel that was scratched and said "see, this is how our machine would've scratched them". If you're the only shop to touch my BRAND NEW $2000 WHEELS, and there's scratches on all 4 wheels in consistent locations, how can you deny my claim? Three out of 4 boxes were sealed. Long story and you've probably moved on from my review already, but think twice before going to Hanlon's. Rob has my number and he has the opportunity to correct his mistake. However he sees fit on a settlement, I'm all ears. He mentioned "refurbish" on the phone and I'm not refurbishing my brand new wheels. I support small business and local shops, but he just made me want to go commercial from now on. See you soon, America's Tire. Below are photos of 4 separate wheels with CONSISTENT markings. There was a black oily substance on them but I cleaned it off when I washed the truck. He also blamed the car wash for it
