This a place where everyone is actually friendly. They do not try to charge you for unnecessary things, which is another A+ in my book! As a female, this has been my greatest concern in an auto shop. They do their best to keep your bill to a minimum. I have even suggested things I thought I might need done and was told that I did not need them. Shout out to Austin and Rob for always taking great care of me. I actually moved out of the area a few years ago, and I still come back. From the moment I arrived, Matt handled everything from start to finish. He truly made the entire process TURNKEY. He coordinated with our insurance company, arranged the insurance covered rental car, and managed all of the communication with the carrier. We didn't have to worry about a single thing. His professionalism, knowledge, and customer service are simply outstanding. Nina in the office ( our contact ) was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always friendly, cheerful, and ready to answer any questions we had. Refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely enjoyed helping us. Joe in parts ( has to be the manager ) also deserves special recognition. Some of the body parts needed for our car repair were difficult to obtain, or were on national backorder. But Joe took it personally and worked tirelessly to track them down. His dedication made all the difference to getting the car back to us. When we picked up the car, it looked absolutely perfect. The repair was flawless. To top it off, they detailed the car and cleaned the inside. They also noticed that our car was due for inspection and handled that as well. After a few days when the mirror was ready I walked in, paid and waited for them to fix the mirror. They were fairly quick with it but it wasn't intensive work that would take hours. The staff was also very nice and friendly. The office of the shop was amazing, probably one of the best body shop offices you could ever see. The decor was tasteful and eclectic. They had coffee service, so much seating, and a lot of good art around. I felt like I was waiting in luxury. If you need a body shop around Island Park this is the place to go!

He marked up by 100 to 200 % on every part. After trying to charge me $1000 extra. My original quote was $2850, when I went to pick it up the cost rose to $3950. He lied to me and told me that I needed a water pump which was actually included in the original repair quote. Anyway I could go on slating this garage but I don't want to bore you good people reading this. I will not be going back and I surely do not recommend anybody bring their car here. Oh one last thing. After I paid the repair cost I left the garage and guess what ! The engine light came on. I went straight back and they cleared some codes. Left a second time only for the codes to return with the same issues. I actually looked up the codes myself and showed them what was wrong from a YouTube video. They had reassembled the engine incorrectly and my YouTube video helped them correct the problem on my 3rd visit back. GO FIGURE how these guys have happy customers is just beyond me.

Don't recommend this shop. They removed my fuel pump without letting me know they were then tried…read moreto tell me I needed a new one when I just had it replaced and told me my gas gauge was reading wrong. Come to find out the new fuel pump they were just going to order and try to have me say yes to would have cost 695.00$ just for the part. I said absolutely not and then was charged for their mistake of deciding to take out the fuel pump and then they had to reinstall it so it cost me 150.00$ for them to tell me my gas gauge isn't working probably and you should take it back to your normal mechanic. Wish there was another shop in Long Beach but I'll be more then happy to go to RVC for a good mechanic with ethical morals.
