I called Mercedes to see if they do body work and they recommended me to a collision place "they use". After reading their reviews, I knew I was NOT going there. I did a search and found a Touch of Class Collision. I called, and the staff was friendly attentive and caring. The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well. Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc. When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. The body is shiny and brand new looking and they also left a tube of paint just in case:). I highly recommend A Touch of Class Collision. Gabe is super and the staff is amazing. This a place where everyone is actually friendly. They do not try to charge you for unnecessary things, which is another A+ in my book! As a female, this has been my greatest concern in an auto shop. They do their best to keep your bill to a minimum. I have even suggested things I thought I might need done and was told that I did not need them. Nelson (owner) had my car for a month and Changed to perfectly fine batteries and put one relay in. Nelson Finally, fix the hose and, was starting the car with no transmission fluid in the transmission. (Clearly a red flag thus causing more damage to the transmission!) Then after all this he sent my car to another mechanic shop up the block! Just to tell me it was the transmission and he don't work on transmissions!!! and had his wife call me to say I owe $1,7000 and never fixed the problem!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!! AND NELSON WORKED ON MY CAR CHANGED STUFF WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!!! I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBU IMMEDIATELY!!!
