The falafel came with delicious pickles, two tahini, sauces, and some tomatoes. I think these are the best falafel I've ever had. They stayed together nicely and they were moist and delicious. I definitely recommend you try these. My soup was excellent. I love lentil soup and this one was seasoned well and the cup was a decent size. I love the pita bread here because it's very thin and holds up well when you make a sandwich. This is great for people who are watching their carb, but still want to have some bread. We had service with a smile and the lady who took our order, brought everything out to our table, and she was really kind and professional. You pay for the food when you order it. The menu seems to have a lot of great items so we'll be back again to try other things. I opted for the chicken shawarma plate, and it was great. Creamy hummus, a light/fresh salad, a good amount of perfectly cooked/seasoned rice, and the fresh shawarma chicken rounded out this great plate. It comes with pitas which was nice for making small sandwiches, and also came with an interesting hot sauce/garlic sauce. The price was fair around 12$, it came with a lot of food so I definitely got my moneys worth, and overall just pleased with the friendliness of the staff. Looking forward to coming back!

So, this is what I ordered. It was made fresh and came out piping hot. The rice in the dish was bland and the chicken was slightly more flavorful, which means it was basically bland as well. The garlic sauce and the salad were the best two flavors on this dish and I tried to grab some of that in each bite. I wasn't too impressed with the flavors of the chicken shawarma at all, but then again I prefer flavorful and authentic food and can't stand when ethnic restaurants cater to "Americans" by making their food less spicy/authentic. The place was rather busy when I went and the dining room was kept clean. Service was friendly. I'd recommend this place to those who don't have high expectations for spice, rather are looking for a nice experience.

Obvious how they aren't expecting anyone to eat inside. The falafel was crispy and it was a great meal even with presentation being shitty. Other menu items include beef and chicken kebabs. The falafel is in the name of the place so it obviously is the best thing. For sure if going here again we'll get it to go. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There's of course lots to get for vegetarians.

One of the best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurants I've tried, I come here often and the owners are very friendly. The chicken shawarma meal and sandwich is what I normally get and it is simply fantastic. As well as other dishes I've tried such as the chicken kebab and gyro platter. They just started serving fresh round cut potatoes which are good, but I preferred their steak fries they used to have so it's more of a personal bias. Overall, this is fine dining at a reasonable price that has good healthy filling portions of food with fast and courteous service. I recommend that if you like this type of food to certainly give this place a try. read more

This place is as good as it gets. They have a very unique take on the Mediterranean menu, allowing the customer to customize their place with a meat and two sides. I've tried a couple different meats and they were all up and beyond any other place I had. Definitely suggest it and they are going to have whispers every week on their facebook page giving discounts on different items every week! Second the Mac and cheese tasted great a few weeks ago but today the sauce / flavor to macaroni ratio was way too high making the Mac and cheese also inedible. They really need quality control to prevent jn the future. I would have rated 1 star but I know they can do better so hoping they use this review to improve their chicken sandwiches and Mac and cheese. Will be getting only the tenders in the future.

I was hoping to get a gyro burger based on some of the past photos and reviews, but I guess the menu has been pared down. That's when the red flags started showing themselves - They were out of chili. Sorry kiddo, regular hot dogs then - No gyro cone on the spit - Empty drink fridge apart from some juices, bottled water, and Pepsi - When I asked for a cup of water, the lone employee just pointed to the bottled waters - There was one plastic fork left - like, it's dead inside, you couldn't bother to refill it? Despite missing the gyro burger and the gyro cone, I ordered the gyro sandwich anyway, and we also got a chicken shawarma wrap, a hot dog with everything, and a hot dog with just ketchup. I don't know what "everything" means to Palooza, but it doesn't add up to a Chicago dog. No sport pepper? No celery salt? One sad tomato slice? It was an insult to the institution. Feels like they skimp on the fries too. The gyro also felt small compared to what you would get at any other place selling them. The chicken shawarma wrap just didn't taste fresh and was drowning in some kind of sauce. As we left, I asked my wife the question I always ask her when we try a new place. And no, we won't be back. It's barely passable, but you'll find better versions of their food all over the burbs.

Some time back, I did DoorDash from this place and when my friend visited me, we decided to dine…read morein. We ordered many different options and everything was very flavorful. Food was very light and great thing is that you can customize your oil preferences. We had ordered masala soda and masala thumbs up - however, the fizz was not there (probably, mixing soda and masala removes all fizz). Overall, great place to have good food. P.S. - they have bar as well!
