Mediterranean Chicken Shawarma Bowl (Vegetarian style w/ Tofu)
    Jamie K.

We rolled in here to grab some dinner about 25 minutes till closing, and the host sat us and patiently waited on us. Despite closing time looming, they still delivered a fresh and hot meal to us and let us enjoy it without rushing us. Much appreciated, and it says a lot about their staff to do that. The food was great! Full of flavor! And for all of my fellow vegetarians, their menu is FULL of vegetarian and vegan choices, and tofu is available as a replacement protein for any dish.

We had a great meal at the Pita Jungle! Their hummus platter with a pita is just delicious. I had the roasted vegetable wrap and my companion had the chicken shawarma bowl. Both were delicious. We had a super great server and it was an enjoyable meal.

Hummus With Seared Ahi Tuna, Gyro, Cali Steak burrito

We go to pita jungle when we're craving healthier options. My favorite thing to order is the seared tuna with cilantro jalapeño hummus. They typically sear the tuna with more sesame seeds so I'm not sure what happened this time or if that's just how they do it at this location. I even asked our waiter to make sure it was tuna and not chicken. The hummus was good just wished the tuna was seared better. My boyfriend always gets the gyro and he said no complaints. The cali steak burrito was on their seasonal menu and it was surprisingly really good!! I think they should keep it on their menu, I'd definitely order that again.

We were very tired and very hungry last night after working and getting our taxes done after work. We needed to find a place near us for a good dinner without a long wait. We pulled into Black Angus, figuring it would be an easy dinner and noticed Pita Jungle across the parking lot. For some reason, I had never noticed the Pita Jungle here before. We could see through the large windows that there were seats available and decided to switch to this spot for dinner because we love Pita jungle in Peoria and Tempe. First of all, we noticed how friendly all of the servers were the entire evening. It was very impressive. We ordered our favorites and they really hit the spot, just as good as ever. We left happy and full after a long, tiring day. We ordered: - Unsweetened iced black tea - Hummus with Kafta Beef - ground beef mixed with minced onions, diced tomatoes, jalapeno, parsley, mediterranean seasoning, pomegranate molasses, choice of hummus, toasted pine nuts, pita. - Mahi & Pita Chips - wood-fired mahi-mahi, cilantro jalapeno hummus, pico de gallo, toasted pine nuts, sprouts, lemon, seasoned pita chips. - Chicken Combo Platter - grilled marinated all-natural chicken breast, lemon-cilantro mixed beans, turmeric brown rice, garlic dip, tomatoes, onions, pickles, parsley, sprouts, pita. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a men's and women's restroom inside for customers. Booth and bar seating is available. There's a large table by the front window near a fireplace for a large group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Jalepeno and cilantro hummus with seared ahi tuna

I am giving a 4 star because I go all the time. Just my First time reviewing. The hummus amazing as always. I love the jalepeno and cilantro hummus. This time I got seared ahi tuna on it for some protein. That was a mistake. The seared tuna was super fishy and the sauce they had on it did not help it. I have had seared ahi tuna so many times other places. This one was not palatable at all. Waiter was super nice and made sure my Diet Pepsi was full. Again I always love pita jungle just not the tuna I'll keep going back and enjoying the hummus and skinny girl margaritas

I hate it when I love a chain. I don't even like to go to chains normally, but some friends picked this place and I had to give it a go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a large, industrial vibe with some cool paintings on the wall that are for sale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mostly young servers here and they were pretty good. I wasn't really hungry so I decided to try the "Organic Red Quinoa with Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus". I like hummus but... * I'm not normally a fan of quinoa. * I'm not normally a fan of kale * I'm not normally a fan of arugula * I don't go out of my way to eat organic. Well, that's what this is and a lot more.... Red quinoa, tucscan kale, spinach, baby arugula, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, garlic, feta, toasted pine nuts, cilantro jalapeno hummus, evoo, lemon-cumin vinaigrette, choice of organic blue corn chips or pita. That was delicious. I loved it. I've already been back several times and have enjoyed it equally each time.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience. I personally love pita jungle and haven't had it in a long time but the garlic cilantro fries had no garlic and the cilantro was kinda old, we found a few of them that were brown. Our main dishes were great though! Very delicious, hummus is always a staple so definitely try that if you haven't. Our service wasn't the best. We had to wave down our waitress a few times, she'd walk away before we were done talking, I had asked for mayo for my fries and before we could ask for dressing for the salad (again) she left without us finishing. Overall kinda felt like she was ignoring us, and there was only 3 other people in the restaurant at the time.

Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant appears clean and inviting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], we were promptly greeted and seated. Nice variety of menu items. Waiter was polite and helpful. Bar service. Daily specials. Orders were taken, food was delivered to our party of four after a minute. Food was good, the chicken wrap bowl was not what I expected, veggies were cooked and soft, white meat chicken was diced into small chunks; served on a bed of turmeric rice. I was expecting fresh crispy veggies. ‍Staff was busy with a huge order, maybe catering? Prices were moderate, check arrived, but I had to find the waiter to pay the check. All told, it was a good place for lunch with friends and family.

We love this place. When you're in town for the holidays, you have to make time to visit your favorite spot since there's not one where you live. The del sol and hummus were on point as usual. Even my parents enjoyed the lavosh pizzal. We will make sure to always visit and enjoy this food. Try the arnold palmer with tea and lemonade....you won't be disappointed.

We were on the way to and afternoon adventure at a local theme park, and decided the kids needed to eat first. Raising Cane's won the "where" vote. And now I'm so glad. We ordered the Caniac for two adults and two kids. There was so much food on that platter, we had leftovers! Six juicy tenders, coleslaw, Texas Toast, and a large iced tea. The Texas Toast made my mouth happy! I could chow down on that awesome garlicky flavor all day. Obviously fresh bread, toasted to perfection. The coleslaw had just the right amount of sauce, not dry and not soupy. The fries were mostly meh, nothing spectacular, but then I bit into the chicken tenders. Wow, what a wonderful surprise, as I said earlier. The restaurant was clean and the staff were fast, efficient and friendly. If you like chicken tenders done right, I recommend a trip to Raising Cane's!

The patio is shaded and they have very powerful misters, which made the Arizona heat much more comfortable. I did notice that a few of the tables toward the edge of the patio were wet from the misting system, though. The restaurant was extremely busy, so the service was on the slower side. The staff was friendly and working hard, but it definitely felt like they could use a few more people during peak brunch hours. The menu is fantastic. There are so many great options that I honestly had a hard time deciding what to order. I chose the red chicken chilaquiles. The tortilla chips had a great texture, but by the time they reached the table they had absorbed almost all of the sauce. I'm not sure if that's just their style of chilaquiles or if my plate had been sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The red sauce itself was good, but it tasted more tomato-forward than the traditional red chile flavor I usually expect from chilaquiles. The matcha was to sweet and creamy: not of my liking. It didn't taste like matcha. The matcha pancakes were good. The atmosphere is definitely part of the experience. They had a DJ playing music, giving the restaurant more of a fun nightclub vibe than a typical breakfast spot. It was unexpected, but I actually enjoyed it. They also have an impressive Bloody Mary bar with lots of toppings and garnishes. The only thing that gave me pause was that the topping containers are open and located right by the entrance, which made me wonder how much dust or debris they might be exposed to throughout the day. One thing to be aware of is that there was an additional service charge added to the bill, which may be related to paying with a credit card. The manager was very nice and attentive. The server was ok and the hostess could be more friendly. Parking lot is limited Overall, Hash Kitchen is a fun brunch spot with a lively atmosphere, a menu full of tempting choices, and food I'd happily come back to try again. I just wish the service moved a little faster during the busy brunch hours and that a couple of the small details were improved.
