On Wednesdays, there is happy hour. Happy hour gives incredible deals on the meals; you can order about 4 filling dishes from the happy hour menu and it'll only cost $20! Surprisingly, the appetizers and sushi are better than the dinner dishes. This time around, service was speedy and the waiter was, of course, friendly. Timely refills. Last time, it may have been a bar ploy because they waited a very long while before even bringing out the appetizers. Alas, that was not so this visit. I've visited this spot twice now, and unfortunately, both experiences left me feeling underwhelmed. The food lands in the "average" category for me, and the service has consistently been a bit slow and inattentive, nothing rude, just not very engaging or efficient. On my most recent visit, I ordered the HQ BBQ wings as my main and decided to share some jalapeno poppers and a side of onion rings. The wings were decent, tender enough with a solid smoky BBQ flavor that wasn't overpowering, though they didn't wow me or stand out from other wing joints I've tried. The jalapeno poppers were similarly okay: cheesy and extremely spicy without being exceptional, a reliable but forgettable appetizer. That said, the onion rings were the clear highlight! They were perfectly crispy on the outside with that ideal thick, golden batter, and the onions inside stayed sweet and tender without turning greasy or soggy. They had great flavor and texture, honestly some of the best I've had recently. I could easily see myself returning just for a big basket of those rings. If you're a big fan of standout onion rings and don't mind middle-of-the-road BBQ and service, this place might still be worth a casual stop. Yesterday was the second time we visited Headquarters for dinner after stopping by last Thursday night for dinner as well. Got Velicia as my server both times and wow she is nop notch. Last week was much busier but that girl never stops moving! I questioned dining in the first time since it was pretty busy but not only did she give us good service but I saw her behind the bar, sitting people walking in, taking food to customers and cleaning the empty tables. She suggested the appetizer firecracker shrimp and buffalo chicken pizza (pizzas are a great deal on Thursdays) and both were flavorful. This was our second time dining here. The first wasn't bad but wasn't great. We thought we would give it one more try. We arrived and found the charging station had been vandalized and didn't work. Walked inside and were told there was a 20 minute wait. About 30 minutes later we were told our name was never written down. We waited a total of 45 minutes. There was never an apology and we never saw the manager. When we got seated it took another 10 minutes to see a server. We ordered our food right away when the server arrived because we had such a long time to wait. The food at the table did not all come out at the same time and the food and the cocktail was not very good. We had the steak bites and sushi. The steak was overly seasoned and sushi was subpar. The sauce was off and the flavor was lacking with the sushi. We didn't finish our meal and left to go somewhere else where we knew we could get better food. read more

There was very little taste of buffalo sauce and soaked in American cheese .. not to mention the bread was thicker than the chicken . The Cobb was no better what you see on the plate to the right is all of the mixed greens I took out of the salad just to be able to eat it! I got very little veggies. The ranch dressing was runny and had no flavor. It was strange . The only Thing that was semi decent was the potato skins but I wasn't a huge fan of the nacho cheese they use. My first time here was decent but I went back again last night and had a completely different experience. The host didn't seem happy at all, in fact none of the employees there seemed happy. We got sat at a small high top table that was in a really awkward place, so when our server came to greet us we asked to move to a different table. We then got sat next to a larger party and they were obnoxiously loud to where my friend and I couldn't even hear each other talking. We ordered a couple drinks and an appetizer which didn't take too long to arrive. Our server didn't come back to take our order for a really long time. I saw her helping other tables around us but it almost felt like she completely forgot about us. When she did finally come back, we ordered our meals and two more drinks. I ordered the crispy chicken southwest salad and my friend ordered a pizza. The drinks took a little while but the food took forever!! We were just about to get up and say something but then we finally saw our server on her way to our table with the food. The chicken on my salad was grilled chicken, not "crispy" like it was stated on the menu. The salad wasn't bad but I wasn't wanting grilled chicken. I didn't say anything because our server never came back to ask how everything was. Plus, it had taken so long to arrive in the first place and I was starving. Bummed with our visit yesterday. We hadn't been in forever and it just felt like literally everything has went down hill. Service wasn't the best our entire visit. We never received refills on any of our drinks...well except the beer; they did bring a second glass of that. Our table ordered the chips, queso and salsa for the appetizer, a burger and fries, the Arizona roll with jalapeño added as well as hot wings. Everything came out at a decent time. The chips and queso were good. The salsa had a decent kick to it. Everything else was awful. Burger dry and fries soggy. The sushi was mush and way too warm. Unfortunately even with the added jalapeño and spicy mayo it wasn't hot at all. The wings were over done with no real sauce. We all left feeling meh about it all.
