The atmosphere here is beautiful and relaxing. We were greeted at the door by Raymond who was super friendly and helpful with the menu. We shared a full chicken shawarma plate and the falafel plate which are both generous portions. The hummus was delicious with a hint of smokey flavor. So good we took an extra order to go. The shawarma was delicious, juicy, and tender. The falafel was also good with the mango sauce, which we had never tried before. We will definitely be back.

First time trying authentic Iraqi breakfast, and wow--what an experience! Everything we ordered was amazing, and the staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. I tried a dish that looked like a cheese pizza topped with an egg, and it was absolutely delicious. But my favorite item of all was the puff pastry with honey and cream--pure heaven. The restaurant itself is spotless with clean, sleek décor that makes the whole experience even better. There's a reason this place has a 5.0 rating. It's well deserved. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the owner was incredibly friendly. He mentioned that the current menus are just temporary and that more detailed menus are coming soon. I ordered the kibbeh hameth, and the portion was HUGE, definitely more than I expected. My husband and cousin really enjoyed their meals too (pictured), and we all agreed everything tasted fresh and authentic. We also tried the lahm bi jeen and falafel as appetizers, and both were delicious. It's refreshing to finally have an Iraqi restaurant in town that goes beyond the usual shawarma, gyros, and kabobs that every other place offers. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their tashreeb with quzi next! If you are looking for traditional Iraqi cuisine, I highly recommend checking this place out.

I had their steak sandwich- Yummy. Loved this place- Also, my wife did appreciated how clean the place and bathrooms were.

Tried Sindbad tonight with my family and it did not disappoint! We tried a little bit of everything, but as a vegetarian, I was so impressed with the lentil soup and falafel plate! I enjoyed the mango sauce recommended, and the biriyani was the best I've ever had with notes of cinnamon and spice. The owner was also a gracious host. I'm happy to have this great restaurant in the neighborhood and will be back!

The new owners are great, very kind people and the service was great. Food itself was 10/10. 100% recommended.

After waiting to see this business open a new dot we were thrilled it finally opened. We went yesterday and were greeted warmly. Started with lentil soup, fresh bread and lemons. Excellent. We ordered a chicken swarma plate. A small plate of babaganough, hummus, fresh cucumber and tomato salad and creamy cucumbers. not sure what everything is called but it was delicious. I took one photo and two people ate with plenty to take home. I love this family already. They are new owners and I want them to have success because it's around the corner from where we live, We will be back. They have the same bread makers as Sinbad's on 35th Ave. and Glendale that went under during Covid. Such excellent food and sweet kind people.

The food at Sinbad restaurant is amazing! The portions are huge and delicious! The quality of their ingredients is phenomenal and it feels like a middle eastern homemade food.

Great service and even better food! Thank you to the owners for introducing themselves and making sure we were good any chance they got.

The music was Bad Bunny themed on this Saturday so we all got our dance on. I enjoyed the huge breakfast burrito, it was full of deliciousness, papas, eggs, pico and Chipotle sauce. My wife enjoyed her waffle with everything in the side and they offered softened butter. The endless mimosas were $25 per person and it was definitely worth it. We requested a watermelon sauce in the side and it was a $1. We all left happy full and with good energy.

The Scene I was genuinely excited to visit The Lola. A week…read morebefore our trip, I made a reservation for a coworker's going-away dinner while several of us were in town from across the country. Based on the photos online, it looked like the perfect place for our group to gather. I confirmed my reservation through both the email and text reminders. On the day of our reservation, another partner agency happened to be in town and wanted to join us. Since the website wouldn't let me modify the reservation, I called four times after they opened to see if I could add a few more people. Unfortunately, no one ever answered the phone. We decided to arrive early and ask in person. The Service When we arrived, the restaurant was absolutely packed. The hostess told us we were welcome to walk through the bar to see if we could find a table ourselves, but that they were extremely busy and likely wouldn't have anything available. After looking around, we came back and asked if the patio was an option since the misters made it surprisingly comfortable despite the Arizona heat. We were told the patio was for reservations only. When I reminded the hostess that we had a reservation, the explanation suddenly changed to, "We're on an event menu tonight." She handed me the menu while I stood at the host stand, walked away, and never really explained what that meant for our reservation or whether we would actually be seated. When she returned, instead of offering a wait time or another solution, she suggested we try Thirsty Lion down the sidewalk instead. At that point, it became clear that our reservation wasn't going to be honored. Parting Thoughts I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during major events. What disappointed me wasn't the crowd--it was having a confirmed reservation, receiving multiple confirmation requests, making several unanswered phone calls beforehand, and ultimately being left without a table or a meaningful explanation.

We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience.

Even after joining the waitlist, you still have to check in with the hostess upon arrival, and there may still be an additional wait. When we arrived, we were told it would be about a 20-minute wait for a table, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar, but honestly, we wish we had waited for a table because the bar area felt a bit tight. The bartenders were very nice, but at times it seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed, as we had to wave them down a few times for assistance. One highlight was the live DJ--the music selection was great and really added to the overall atmosphere. For food, we ordered the Basic AF and the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the food temperature was disappointing. The waffles were cold, and most of the Basic AF dish was cold as well, except for the eggs. The only item that was warm on my plate was the chicken. This is definitely something that should be improved--breakfast dishes should be served hot and fresh. For drinks, we ordered a Bloody Mary and wanted to add a mini Miller High Life, but they were out of stock, which was disappointing. Instead, we opted for a Corona, which felt overpriced at $7 for a single bottle--especially when it's being used as an add-on. A lower price point would feel more reasonable in that situation. On a positive note, I also ordered the Boozy Bag drink with a watermelon slice, and it was absolutely delicious--definitely a highlight of the visit. The restaurant does offer a good amount of outdoor seating with shade coverings, which is great for avoiding the sun. Inside, especially near the bar, you can hear the music much better, but it's still audible outside depending on where you sit. Our total bill for two came to about $70, so it's something to plan for in terms of pricing. One additional suggestion: we did notice bartenders and staff handling drink garnishes--such as fruit and decorative items like cotton candy--with their bare hands. For hygiene and cleanliness purposes, it would be highly recommended for staff to use gloves or some type of protective covering when preparing drinks, especially since these items go directly into customer beverages. Overall, we enjoy the vibe and energy here, but consistency with food temperature and attentiveness during busy times would really improve the experience. Also, it looks like they offer a rewards program that requires linking a credit card--we're not fully sure how it works, but it might be worth asking about for future visits.
