The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the owner was incredibly friendly. He mentioned that the current menus are just temporary and that more detailed menus are coming soon. I ordered the kibbeh hameth, and the portion was HUGE, definitely more than I expected. My husband and cousin really enjoyed their meals too (pictured), and we all agreed everything tasted fresh and authentic. We also tried the lahm bi jeen and falafel as appetizers, and both were delicious. It's refreshing to finally have an Iraqi restaurant in town that goes beyond the usual shawarma, gyros, and kabobs that every other place offers. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their tashreeb with quzi next! If you are looking for traditional Iraqi cuisine, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Tried Sindbad tonight with my family and it did not disappoint! We tried a little bit of everything, but as a vegetarian, I was so impressed with the lentil soup and falafel plate! I enjoyed the mango sauce recommended, and the biriyani was the best I've ever had with notes of cinnamon and spice. The owner was also a gracious host. I'm happy to have this great restaurant in the neighborhood and will be back!

After waiting to see this business open a new dot we were thrilled it finally opened. We went yesterday and were greeted warmly. Started with lentil soup, fresh bread and lemons. Excellent. We ordered a chicken swarma plate. A small plate of babaganough, hummus, fresh cucumber and tomato salad and creamy cucumbers. not sure what everything is called but it was delicious. I took one photo and two people ate with plenty to take home. I love this family already. They are new owners and I want them to have success because it's around the corner from where we live, We will be back. They have the same bread makers as Sinbad's on 35th Ave. and Glendale that went under during Covid. Such excellent food and sweet kind people.

The food at Sinbad restaurant is amazing! The portions are huge and delicious! The quality of their ingredients is phenomenal and it feels like a middle eastern homemade food.

Great service and even better food! Thank you to the owners for introducing themselves and making sure we were good any chance they got.

First off, that sign on their window that says Daily Specials is a lie. We asked about it and they…read moresaid they had none for the day we came in. So the daily special is only on weekdays which means they need to change their false advertisement. I wanted to get a 3 meat plate (that item is listed on their website but not on their actual menu). They did not have falafels which sucked. This is one of those places where you need to call in advance to make sure they have their items in stock. The best part about my meal was that it came with a lot of food; which is what I'd expect for a $28.64 meal. It came with rice, hummus, salad, and bunch of fries. Unfortunately, the best parts of the meal were the rice and gyros. The two beef options weren't that great. Although the platter constituted two separate meals for me, it just wasn't fantastic at all. Floors weren't properly cleaned either.

I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. Lamb kabobs cooked nicely. Not chewey or…read moreovercooked. It was flavorful, but I am a bit suspicious that I got beef kabobs instead of lamb. Lamb has a distinct flavor and this did not taste like lamb. More like beef. My family thought it was beef as well. Rice and sauces were good. I recommend and would come back, but I'll need to make sure next time it's lamb before I leave. And if it is lamb, i probably won't order it again because it tasted just like beef.

My first experience at Casa De Falafel was phenomenal. As I approached the counter, I was told by…read morethe kind and gracious gentleman my falafel experience would change after trying the one they offer... For a split second, I thought, "That's a good way to intrigue someone to buy and try..." but NO, he turns around for a mere moment with a sample and my eyes lit up, I finished my order "beef Pita," (of which was extremely flavorful, tender, and fresh... the pita had great consistency and it all disappeared in seconds) but sorry, I digress, there I was, grabbing the strawberry lemonade and walking towards the table when yet again, the kind man asked, "how is the lemonade?" To which I respond, "great!" He then proceeded to pull me an additional cup, "please, try the others as well, they're homemade!" A mango pineapple and a passion fruit were awaiting my pallet, and soon enough... they too, were gone. The falafel was absolutely incredible, crispy outside, soft and flavorful and not dry, that's the big one for me... the falafel was perfect... there was only one thing wrong, so I asked... "can I order four more!? and some baklava too" (to take home of course...) I did sneak a bite of the baklava though, again, so tasty, perfect amount of sweetness, not overly sticky, and the right size to end the meal. Casa De Falafel is one that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND... I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu... they will definitely be the only place that I go for a falafel craving... THANK YOU!

Usually LOVE this spot. Today was a letdown. Super…read moredisappointing. Treated some friends, hyped up how good this place was. We both ordered a chicken wrap; I got one, and they shared one. When we got our food, the wraps were TINY- we both requested "no tomatoes" (how I normally order), but the wraps came out like half the size. ABSOLUTE RIPOFF. I cannot justify paying as much money as I did for such a tiny wrap. I saved half and took a picture. In hindsight, I should've taken a photo of the tiny portion on the tray. It looked like a pressed egg roll. Food: delicious BUT OVERPRICED FOR THE TINY PORTION. Service: always friendly, but really guys? This wrap is embarrassing. Ambiance: chill. This must've been what I paid for- cuz the food was a child's portion. Conclusion: thank goodness I ordered some of everything- otherwise, we'd still be hungry. My friends enjoyed the flavors but were not impressed with the size of their wrap. Especially because they ripped off some of the extra wrap, which made it smaller. Doubt I'll be back unless they fix their portions. For real, I feel ripped off. Updated: decreasing from 5 stars to 2.
