Both Thai & Shawarma Share a dinning hall, so it's very busy. It's congested to get in, as the order counter is in the back of the store. If I could make very helpful suggestion, they need to somehow have an "order only" counter and "pick up" separate. Not the best design on that part. Love the open concept to watch the Chefs prep the food. Very clean place. They seemed to be enjoying their lives in the kitchen and I love to see that. The wait was pretty long, many customers. I did order the pickle bar take away , $2.99 , definitely must try. Mansaf bowl with lamb. I'm not sure if it's a Lebanese interpretation or another culture, It's not what I'm use to. It didn't have the bread soaked or any bread at all, at the bottom and the yogurt sauce was lacking flavor. I'm super picky about Mansaf , my Khalto made the best Palestinian Style/Jordanian Mansaf. For a take away Quick Serve restaurant, it does taste pretty good. Was a large meal for $25. Their packaging and take away bags are fantastic, they need additional credit for that in itself. With so many shawarma spots in the area, it's hard to pick the best, they truly are pretty good, but I will say that Hello Shawarma has the advantage because of the beshka sandwich. It's like the Arab version of a Philly sandwich. I'm not Jordanian/Palestinian so this sandwich is a totally new concept for me and we are in love with it. I also love their pickle station. Those peppers and the cauliflowers are my favorite pickles and to have access to all that is a dream. Sometimes I just stop by for the pickles. Then of course, the bowls are delicious as well. i've only been to the Bridgeview location. The place is bright yellow which gives it a nice family friendly feel. The service is fast and friendly, it's pretty casual. I got mine to go, the menu can be overwhelming but the wraps are really popular. I was apprehensive about the price for just the wrap being $12.99 but as you can see, the quantity is huge and it's well worth it. As for the shawarma, the wrap itself was kind of dry which means they didn't use a lot of oil (if any) to toast it. Which is fine but unfortunately i found the inside to be dry too. There is plenty of meat and veggies in the wrap, but the tahini based sauce gives it a dry feel that ends up muting out the big flavors. It is good and definitely leans more on the healthy side, but I haven't craved it since then. Overall not a bad option if you're really hungry and just want a solid wrap! read more

We saw this place once while driving by. Today we stopped in to try it for lunch. The interior is clean and well-lit. You can order from a touchscreen right by the front door. A gentleman asked if it was our first time here. When we answered in the affirmative, he explained the menu and placed the order for us. We went with a beef bashka, a lamb mansaf bowl, and a side of fries. Wow! The bashka was an amazing sandwich. Nice meat, nice bread, and filled with peppers and melted cheese. Nice presentation on a wooden platter. They even gave latex gloves to eat with, as it can get messy. The mansaf was okay. The presentation was really nice, but it seemed to lack in flavor. However, that could be our fault; they provided a container full of some sort of white sauce, but we only drizzled a little bit of it over the food. The fries were awesome. Perfectly seasoned and crispy. Food and service were excellent. I liked how they provided different sauces like bbq, tahini, sweet chili, and garlic. My son and I dropped in on Hello Shawarma looking for a quick lunch between weekend sporting events. As we entered one of the line workers greeted us with a friendly hello and offered to answer any questions we had. We each had a shawarma sandwich on pita. Our pitas arrived stuffed to the point of overflowing. I had the steak with all of the toppings plus a dollop of hummus and my son the chicken with pickles. We were both very happy with our meals.
