Absolutely recommend this restaurant! Peruvian restaurants from Hollywood to Rancho Cucamonga. This is our favorite! Service has always been great also.

I've been wanting to try Sol Inka for a while and it did not disappoint! I only had enough appetite for ceviche this time during my lunch break, which was very filling by the way, and it was amazing! Tangy and flavorful. I also enjoyed both the passion fruit and purple corn drinks. Janet was a great attentive server. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Can't wait to try more items off the menu.

My boyfriend and I decided to come here, and we have no regrets. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming ambiance, and our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Saltado de Mariscos, and my boyfriend had the Saltado Especial. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Our beers were ice cold, which made the meal even better. This place is definitely worth trying!

Large restaurant with plenty of seating, they do have an area for live music. I got their Bistek al lo pobre and lomo saltado for my family, I went during a slow time so the wait time was not long. The lomo saltado was not salty and the beef was tender with plenty of fries and sliced red onions and tomatoes. The sauce was not salty as well. My brother did like the bistek and said it was tender and seasoned nicely. The staff is nice, the lady gave me an Alfajores for free. Parking lot is a good size.

Lomo Saltado is bomb. The flavor is awesome and the portion is big. that's what I go for so this place can get this 5 stars haha. I will say I like my yucca fries a little thicker, but these aren't bad. Everything I had here makes me feel cozy and it's definitely good food. I can't speak on their other dishes cause this one is my go to, but this place is definitely worth a try!

Late dinner this evening before they closed at 9pm Lovely waitress service and food was served right away But 1st is the bread & aji Maracuya for the win! Ordered Tallarin de camaron & lomo saltado The only thing missing was more of the sauce on the bottom & for presentation I'd put bigger shrimps

Been going to Sol Inka for a few years and it's one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Orange County. Food is always consistent and you can taste the smokiness in the dishes. Tons of tables and parking.

Sunday lunch. No wait. Once again, great service and delicious food. The food came out really fast and had great portions.

I gave this place another chance and I ordered Lomo Saltado only request was poca cebolla (light onion). They even wrote it on the order which they taped to the bag . I guess the cook took offense to my request and added extra!! Ruined my meal.

Ceviche was sour but good, crispy chicken was so crispy and good, beef noodles was good and fish saltado was good but has more potatoes than fish. Jessi (one man show) was nice, friendly and very hardworking. Service was good and will definitely come back. Nice restaurant with a bar and tap beers.

Thank you so much! Is it ok to make a reservation for 8 people for tomorrow March 1st at 5:30/5:40pm under Agnes? We are excited to try your food! We'll be coming from performing at the La Mirada theatre. It'll be a celebration dinner

Good morning no sir you just can walk in, and thanks for choosing are restaurant for dinner.

When I ordered the vegetable saltado, there were no veggies just onion, tomato and fries. Doesn't it usually come with broccoli or other veggies in it too?

Do you offer gluten free items?

Never tried Peruvian food? What is a must try? Not seafood

You should try the Lomo Saltado! It's strips of beef with onions served over French fries and white rice. I believe it's one of there most popular dishes. If you do order it, go easy on the green chili sauce that accompanies it.

    Do they do gift cards?

    Not at this moment

Does your restaurant work with any delivery service, like Postmates, Grubhub?

    Only doordash for now sorry

We ordered the cerviche (Mixto Cebiche), soup (Chupa De Camarones), Arroz con Pollo, and Tallarín Verde w/ beef steak to share for two people. The mixed cerviche comes with big chunks of fresh halibut, and plenty of shrimp and octopus. The sour and tangy flavor is perfectly balanced the glazed sweet potato and Peruvian corn and corn nuts. Definitely a must-try if you like cerviche! The soup (Chupe De Camarones) has a thick and creamy (shrimp chowder) texture, with plenty of peas/carrots pieces, fried fish, and a scrambled egg on top. Very hearty and just perfectly seasoned. We ordered the regular size and the portion is plenty enough even for two people to share. The specialty courses Arroz con pollo (rice cooked with cilantro sauce with chicken) and the Tallarín Verde (pesto spaghetti/parmesan cheese with breaded beef steak) are just as delicious as all the other dishes. The pesto spaghetti is al dente, and the pesto flavor is just devine! If you like cilantro, you cannot go wrong with the Arroz con pollo. Both of these dishes come in big portions, plenty to share for two people. Good service as our waitress was very attentive. Great value considering the cost. Good atmosphere, and plenty indoor seating. Parking in front of the establishment can be crowded, but there are also plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding area. If you are craving for Peruvian food, this is the place to be! Also since this is family-owned, please come and support your local small businesses.

Food - sub par Service - slow & presumptuous…read moreAmbiance - hole in the wall & not a problem I had an intense craving for lomo saltado so came here because it popped up on Yelp. It was a hole in the wall and had relatively good reviews for lomo saltado so I had my hopes up thinking the food would be amazing. My chief complaint is that it took almost 30 minutes for my single order to come out because the kitchen was busy prioritizing to-go/delivery orders. Had I known this, I wouldn't have eaten inside the restaurant; I would've actually gotten it delivered. My next complaint is that no receipt was given as customer copy, and no itemized receipt when asking for tip. The total for this dish came out to almost $30 including tip, and the waitress/cashier didn't mention the lunch special at all. I brought it up to ask about it after I paid, to which she replied, "Oh, you probably don't want that cuz it's smaller. But it comes with a drink and soup." The fact that she assumed I wouldn't want the lunch special (when I'm there at lunch time) that would've been a much better deal at $17.99 and perfect portion size for me, and yet charged me for the regular dinner price was a bit presumptuous. It's also weird that they would ask for a tip (which I gave anyway) before I even received my meal. It's less about the price but the principle! But I was just hungry and needed to go to my next appointment, so I didn't argue, but again, the food took way too long to come out so I had to ask her about it after the 25 minute mark. Food came out after 30 minutes, and I had to get up and ask for the aji verde sauce when most restaurants usually serve it to you with the meal. The aji verde sauce which is really important to me to complement this dish, unfortunately missed the mark as well. I really missed Sol Inka's aji verde sauce that's well-rounded in every way. Lomo saltado should be balanced between the meat, tomatoes, onions, and fries, but it was definitely heavy on the fries with only two pieces of tomatoes. I would've preferred more meat too if it's the regular plate, but it felt like a fries dump. I wouldn't have had complaints if this were the lunch special order. Anyways, if you don't mind the headache & having to be extra proactive to get what you want, this is the place to be, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. $30 for a sub-par lomo saltado where well over half of it is fries does not sit well with me, considering I waited 30 minutes for my meal. Unfortunately, I'd just have to stick to Sol Inka for my regular Peruvian food fix, as the flavor is more robust there anyways. Oh, and Sol Inka also gives complimentary warm bread and butter, while there isn't anything like that here.
