    Chicken Wrap
    Giancarlo T.

The spinach wrap was actually really good, and that's saying a lot because I hate spinach. Yet here I am finishing a chicken-filled spinach wrap plate with no complaints. The salad was also well seasoned, someone definitely has a good touch with seasoning back there. What I don't understand is why this place is so empty. The food is solid, the ambience is pleasant, and everything, from the tables to the surrounding area, is clean and well kept. The music was a great touch too: a nice Italian 90s mix with strong vocals, which I especially appreciated as someone who speaks Italian. Overall, a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

Touting fresh ingredients and a scratch kitchen, Panini Kabob Grill has established itself as a spot to get some healthy Mediterranean-inspired food. But like for real, it's super basic and way overpriced. I don't know how I hyped this place up in my mind, but man I was so disappointed. The food quality was not the worst, and maybe we went on an off night, but the food came out cold and disappointing and the servers seemed tapped out. I tried: Strawberry Date Salad: The salad was soggy and covered in so much sweet dressing the poor spring mix didn't even stand a chance. Koobideh Wrap: quite possibly one of the driest, saddest wraps I've had the misfortune of eating. Meat tasted fine but the texture was off (and there was like zero char, it's like they steamed the kebab but then forgot to grill it). Like for real, the bag of beef kebab from the frozen section of Trader Joe's would win against this one in a fight. Big sad. My depressed little wrap of dryness desperately needed sauce, which they forgot to plate....and it took over 15 minutes for my introverted family to even make eye contact with ANY of the servers in the entire restaurant. Like they were all literally walking around looking at their shoes or something. And given that there seemed to be a lot of them working across the restaurant, I have no idea how they didn't crash into each other. The only good thing we ate was the hummus. Hummus is the hero of this review. If you're gonna brave this place, make sure to get the hummus. You're probably gonna need it.

The food was excellent, but the service was just okay. Our table was dirty, and even after asking the waiter to clean it, it never got done. He also spent most of the time in the kitchen and wasn't very attentive, especially since we were seated outside so sitting indoors might be a better option next time. The ambiance is family-friendly and kid-oriented, and outdoor seating is pet-friendly. Overall, the food was great!

Gotta love me some Chicken Kabob... so I gave this place a shot. The food was good. Great? No. But good. WELL then... WHY only 3 stars? Huh? Service was ATROCIOUS. I waited quite a long time to have my order taken, no refills on my water, and I had to chase down my waiter for my bill. And it wasn't just me. A single woman came in about 20 minutes after me, sat directly across from me... she even mentioned that she was ready to order when she sat down. but waiter walked away and she waited... and waited... and she finally got up and left. I saw - what I think was a manager stop her - they spoke - she shook her head and left. You guys gotta do better! If YOU go here... best of luck to you.

This was our first visit to the Cerritos location, and certainly won't be the last. We frequent the Long Beach location, and opted for Cerritos today, as it was more convenient. Parking can suck. Between the amount of people that visit the plaza for the various restaurants, mall traffic, and very narrow, horribly painted parking lines, it can be nightmare getting in and out of the lot. The one major difference between this location and the Long Beach location has to be the service. We were seated right away with no wait, whereas we would usually have to wait a bit to be seated at the Long Beach restaurant, even when it's almost empty. The servers were very attentive, and checked up on us quite often. There was no bickering or attitude just because you flagged down someone who covers another section. The food was just about as good as the other location, although both locations tend to char/burn their peppers and onions a bit.

Terrible service from the white lady with glasses. My husband accompanied me to the restroom since my arm is partially disabled and i need help. She was banging on the door, my husband said it's busy and she proceeded to bang on the door. When we opened the door she said oh it's because someone needed to use the restroom..... um ok??? even if they did, the proper thing to do is to stop banging on the door after the first time but even then the tab by the knob said IN USE. It was harassment and she didn't even apologize afterwards. We told our family and we all agreed we would not be returning after today. Food was ok don't recommend. LONG BEACH LOCATION IS WAY BETTER AND HAS AMAZING SERVICE!!! Will never be back here

Been here a few times now and finally have a chance to get my review in but maybe it doesn't count? I've been a fan of Panini Kabob Grill when I first started going to the DTLA one.....and even better they have a huge outdoor area which is Dog Friendly....so of course we bring our dogs there..... Dogs + Food + Vegan Options = WINNER! Worked out perfectly for friends and myself I typically get the Falafel Platter or Wrap..... I always recommend the tiramisu for people to try since I think it is still made in house..... Definitely will be back again with or without the pooches....

    Hummus Trio (A Must)

I love our Panini Grills in San Diego and was thrilled to see there's a location in Cerritos as well! It's located in the shopping complex across the street from the Cerritos mall. Although there is a large parking lot, there are so many restaurants densely packed together that during the dinner rush, it was hard to get in and out of the complex. We were passing by on the way home and decided to stop by for dinner. I love how their restaurants are always big with plenty of tables and chairs so there's no wait. This location has a very big outdoor patio which was all covered in addition to their indoor dining area. We always get the family combo which includes a large plate of rice and your choice of 2 kebabs and 2 salads. There was enough food for 4-5 people and a great price for what you get. We also love the hummus trio which is a must try appetizer. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and professional. My only issue is why do the kebabs always have to be so charred lol....i get the food has to cook all the way but the amount of burnt food we consume isn't healthy either. All in all, a good Mediterranean option in this area!

Walked in as I had taken a friend to super-cuts in same shopping mall. All other restaurants seemed depressing. This one had nice outdoor and indoor area. Walked in and sat inside which was nice. Ordered Chicken Cesar wrap and had a side greek salad and it also came with a small hummus. My friend had the pesto chicken panini. Portions were generous- you can split one of these. I took half home for a friend. Service for us was great and wine and beer list was great. prices for sandwiches and wraps are very reasonable considering quality and portions. Will go back!

Located across from the Cerritos mall. It is in a shopping center with plenty of parking but it can get crowded. We went in on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and we were seated right away. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The server was great, checked in on us multiple times. I got the chicken pesto panini with a Cesar salad. The chicken was so juicy. Full of flavor. My boyfriend got the chicken parm which I liked a little more tbh! You can't go wrong with either one though. We also got a side of humus and pita bread which was absolutely delicious. I would definitely get this as a little appetizer before your meal. I don't know why I didn't try this place sooner! If you're in the area, definitely check it out.

Absolutely delicious. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I normally visit the Burbank location. This location is the same offering indoor and outdoor seating. This visit I ordered the family meal for me. Not for 3 but for me. It was all for me. It came with 2 grilled chicken kabobs, rice and salad. My plan was to have food for the week. It was exactly what I needed. Everything was off the hook. Be sure to do half and half on the rice. I am a fan.

I used to frequent the downtown La locations so I am glad one opened up in Cerritos! I did an online order and the food was ready when I got there. Combo kaboom box: chicken skewer and beef kabob. Delicious! Chicken was nice and tender. Came with a good amount of food- rice, pita bread. Choice of hummus Falafel: good but a little on the dry side

I LOVE Mediterranean food, or the ones served at Panini Grill at least. The food here is really good and portions are big (as seen in pictures). The place itself is nice, they have seating indoors and outdoors but it feels like it's still indoors in a way the building is set up. I always order it to-go so I can eat it at home, but last night I decided to dine-in for the first time. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I'll be doing so again at this location. The service started strong and then became poor as soon as we were seated and received our waters. It's not how long the food took, it's the lack of attention. Slow night, I can say this accurately because there was staff either wiping empty tables, talking to parties that personally knew them, waiting around the counter. Never received the refill I requested on the water, tried to order some more items but never got serviced so we left it be. We were asked if we were finished and we asked for some to go boxes and the check, 15 minutes go by and nothing. Saw the staff member who asked us having a conversation with another employee until we made eye contact and then did they realize we were still waiting. Proceeded to give it to the wrong table before coming to us. Even noticed the solo party took a good amount of time before even being helped out, at-least he already knew what he wanted so he only had to deal with the service once. His water took a while to come out too....again I can consider the night slow/not busy due to the amount of tables and behavior of the staff.

Shout out to Chris! Best guy to serve you! He got us a table, good food & out in no time! You rock! We will certainly be back! :)

In addition, at dinner only, each person can order one lamb shank - just this piece of meat alone is worth your $28.99 visit. The restaurant food section is maintained very cleanly, food is beautifully displayed for a self-serve buffet restaurant. Plenty of seating area with ability to accommodate larger parties, and feels family friendly. The only shortcoming they have is that their fruit section tastes consistently unappealing, and some of the desserts don't tastes too great either. But at least their main dishes taste good. Regardless, this is a regular lunch spot frequented, and would bring friends over for dinner here, if they ever feel like Mediterranean.

To be fair, I went on a weekend, so I paid the highest price. I could see this place being a much better value during weekday lunch. The inside was very clean, which I appreciated. One thing that felt a little awkward was the service setup. There didn't really seem to be servers inside, and you pay when you leave, so I wasn't completely sure how much tip made sense. I noticed they even had a 10% tip option, so I'm guessing they know the setup can feel a little unclear. The food overall was clean and decent. It felt like they had pretty much everything you would expect from an American-style Mediterranean/Middle Eastern buffet. Nothing really stood out as especially amazing, but there was a good variety, and most of the food gave me that "this is probably healthy" feeling. I'd consider coming back if I were with friends who really like Mediterranean food.

The plate comes with three filet mignon skewers, each incredibly juicy, buttery, and tender--clearly cooked with care and quality ingredients. The rice is another highlight: deeply flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning, making it a perfect complement rather than an afterthought. The combo also includes pita and two sides; I chose the hummus and yogurt cucumber, which added a nice balance of richness and freshness to the meal. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the food does take some time, but it's evident everything is made fresh and to order--well worth the patience. We haven't eaten here in at least five years, so we were incredibly excited to give it another go…read more Naturally, prices have gone up--we've actually been around since this place's "birth," so watching a two-skewer combo skyrocket from $13 to $23 was a bit of a jump. Still, we fondly remembered their generous, delicious portions, so we placed an online order. The website didn't give a readiness time, but remembering that they used to prepare everything fresh and take their sweet time, I told my husband we should wait a bit before heading out. When I walked in, the employees were chatting and laughing, which was nice to see. Then I noticed a pile of takeout orders sitting on a shelf. Hungry as I was, I silently prayed none of them were ours; I utterly despise cold food. I gave my name to the cashier--who skipped the greeting entirely--and was told it wasn't ready yet. I said thanks and took a seat. While I was waiting, another customer asked about her order and was initially dismissed with a "no." After a second look, the cashier called her back: "Oh, this is yours. It's been ready." No apology, just a cold shoulder. The customer was understandably ticked off. The real plot twist, however, happened when I got home. Apparently, "two skewers" now translates to a grand total of five pieces of chicken. That is definitely not what it used to be. To make matters worse, my worst nightmare came true: the food was cold. Well, not the chicken, but the french fries and pita bread were stone-cold and stale. Lately, I've been going to Luna Grill down the street. They actually serve fresh, much tastier food--and at prices that don't feel like highway robbery.
