Plain and just gross. The chicken bowl

The food is just always dry and gross! The meat not cooked the pita was gross. Didn't even ask if we wanted more toppings like any other pita pit does. Just awful service all around.

There were 6 people ahead of me waiting for their food

Got here on a Sunday at 12:15pm, just one girl behind the counter taking orders and making the food, she took 10 orders and then proceeded to make the food while we all waited for the food, painfully slow, not the girls fault but come on, who schedules Just one person at lunch time!! Seriously!, at around 1 pm, another your man showed up and they were still 8 people waiting for food, been here for 40 min and still no food, 50 minutes passed and they made me a pita instead of a wrap, I don't ask for feta cheese or satsiki, I'm lactose intolerant, I know they were behind but almost an hr to wait for 1 wrap that was made wrong, I had to go, have a 6 hr drive ahead of me, I just asked for a refund, very upsetting

    Shoe prints on table

Restaurant is absolutely filthy. Overheard employee saying owner closed last night. Both restrooms are soaked with urine all over the toilet seat and one toilet is overflowing. A single employee is running the entire place right now, and at onlu 11am it doesn't look like it's been cleaned for three days. There are literally no clean tables they are all dirty, and the floors clearly were not cleaned in the last few days, or maybe even weeks. There is a literal SHOE print on one of the tables where someone's stepped on it and not wiped it off. I will never, ever come back, it's clear the owner doesn't care. I don't typically write Google reviews but this was a disgusting disappointment in comparison to other pita pits across the State. Employee also has long hair and is wearing it down which is a total health code violation in the state of Oregon. All the vegetables and whatnot looked like they were prepped for days and half of it was rotting. I've worked in food service for years and will never eat here again, this place is about to go under with the way the owner runs it. So gross to see it like this at 11am. Highly disappointed.

I've gone to pita pit multiple times and it has always been wonderful and tasty! i went in for one of my usuals (chicken bacon ranch) and when i got home i noticed the meat was cold and had a weird texture. i calmly called and the girl working who had also made my sandwich answered (shorter, black hair). she was condescending and told me that she prepared it herself and knows it was perfect so i couldn't be telling the truth so they could not remake my sandwich. i was trying to proceed very calmly because i was still hungry and didn't have a pita now. she further went on to explain they changed chicken and that might be why so next time "maybe i shouldn't order the chicken here". honestly i was shocked considering im a supervisor myself. i found her to be condescending and rude and not only will i not get the chicken i will not get anything from here! will be telling all my friends about this too and to never go here again,

Great place to eat. Food good. The pita pit in Medford is one of the best ones, I think

The service is always cheerful and energetic, and I've always loved my selection. It's yummy and a bit more on the healthy side. Good stuff.

Well, it's definitely not Sauce anymore which is sad tbh…read more Other than the dumb new name, the menu is very similar but different. No more kale chips (the best ever btw!), way less sauces to choose from, the fridges are all empty, the sautéed cabbage sucks when it used to have flavor and was cooked well and now is basically raw, I could go on. Btw you're supposed to remove the stems on kale, not serve it to customers w stems! They removed all the lamps and fun wall paint in the bathrooms and looks like a generic boring cold bright light white walls bathroom. ***The chicken is much, much better tho so I'll give them that. I wont be surprised if soon they repaint the walls white too and take down all the wood. It has a very medford conservative energy now with people pretending to be hippies wearing ponchos they just bought etc. So that's awkward. Definitely waaaay different energy.. not inna good way. I appreciate what they offer food wise though with veggies and dairy free desserts so I will definitely return. The music SUCKS now. Sauce used to be such a cool vibe with indie music and even classical and jazz etc. Now it is top 40's pop and country-pop. Just god awful. The drama that came from this revision is very interesting also... something like the owners husband and wife, husband cheated on wife with the now new co-owner who is supposedly also married and the ex-wife has chronic illness and was basically blindsided and then bought out. It's all really messy and gives a bad energy. Probably why it is empty every time we've been since the change... Sauce used to always be packed.. we also would always buy the frozen soups and salads etc in addition to our meals ordered but now spend less bc nothing in fridges to buy! Anyway, I hope they stay open for the food bc not much else like it in the valley but hOm, please don't forget the loyal following of Sauce and completely obliterate its energy. Please dont paint everything white and black. We need color and creativity and community. Not cold pretend hippie energy. Sauce was packed constantly for a reason... don't lose sight of why and why you're always empty now facing closure...
