I wanted to love this place because the people who work their are really nice and the restaurant is exactly what this area needed. But... It's a Middle Eastern restaurant... no one should have to ask for pita when ordering a side of hummus. That should be a given! And when I asked for pita (because I wasn't planning on dipping my fingers in the hummus) a half of one rolled up is certainly not the answer. Also, please don't forget the tahini when someone orders tahini. The chicken shawarma plate was dry and flavorless without. Overall, very underwhelming food. Too bad. I guess I'll have to stick with Falafel Corner in Harvard Square and Rami's in Coolidge Corner for the good stuff. read more

Delicious!! I love the chicken shawarma roll up, the flavors are great and it has a great texture. The falafel roll up is also great and the pita chips are a personal favorite as well. I also recommend the hummus and spicy potatoes. I am not a spice person myself, and the potatoes are definitely spicy but I push through the spice for this one because the potatoes are just so good! The baklava is also good and is a nice little serving. The food is always ready for pickup on time, if not earlier. I love pita thyme, so happy it's come to North Andover! read more

Such a great experience. Went in for lunch with my husband and two young girls. The food was incredible (we got the chicken Shawarma plate and avocado quinoa salad, both great!!) and the staff was just so incredibly warm, friendly, and made the entire experience such a delight. Fish Friday and $17 dollar salad for this size piece of salmon(3.6 oz)..... when I called they said that there is no way and he will never agree with me that their portion is under 6-7 ounces. Basically I'm lying.. He said they weigh them all out to 7 ounces.... I don't think he realized I have a food scale that I use daily..... Ordered the falafel rollup and all of the salad ingredients inside the sandwich were fresh and tasty. Nice going Pita Thyme! But listen: There's only one proper way to serve falafel - HOT from the fryer, CRISP on the outside, MOIST on the inside. The falafel in my rollup me was room temperature, no crispiness whatever on the outside and, somehow, both dry and mushy on the inside. I won't be returning. read more

I'm so glad Pita Thyme Cafe came to N. Andover! I absolutely LOVE the food from there. It's as authentic as it gets, if you enjoy Lebanese food you won't regret trying their Mediterranean cuisine. The Kefta Kebab plate is excellent and it has really good flavors, most importantly everything I have tried from there so far is made from fresh ingredients and taste delicious. The Falafel is one of the best I had in awhile, soft and tasty from the inside with a nice crispy finish on the outside. The Beef Shawarma rollup melts in your mouth, the meat is sliced thin and very tender the way an authentic Shawarma sandwich should be! I highly recommend trying the food from Pita Thyme, I order online through their Square site and it's super easy and quick. read more

Positives: fresh tasting food, good falafel. Negatives: my falafel wrap was dry as all heck. The pita lacks moisture completely and there was not even close to enough tahini inside (or given on the side). Hummus was not creamy at all. Fattoush didn't have that luxurious, silky dressing and needed more lemon flavor. read more

Stopped in for the first time tonight. It's clear that word has gotten out about this place and yet the service was excellent and very efficient. I had a beef sharwarma roll up which had amazing flavors. The Middle East style pickles and tahini sauce in it provided a wonderful complement. My wife is a vegetarian and she says the tabouli, babaganoush and lentil soup were among the best she has had. We made a bag of their pita chips disappear in nearly an instant. With so many good choices that I want to try, we will definitely be going back. read more

I am so happy they opened this North Andover location. The food, people and overall experience was just as good as I remember from their Boston location. Between my family members we had sandwiches, plates, salads and sides and everything was delicious!
