    Gyro Supreme Sandwich

We tried the original lamb gyro and the gyro supreme. We preferred the original lamb gyro compared to the supreme but both tasted good and fresh. The prices listed on their website aren't the same prices they charge at the drive through, so be aware of that. I would recommend though!

Yum! A nice selection, it's so good that I wish the portions were bigger hehe! It's a nice selection and the service was friendly. There was a nice worker who gave us a Tzatziki sauce for free. The Greek fries were addicting due to the spices. It has ample seating for people, although we were the only ones there at the time. I would comeback again and recommend it if you want some Greek flavor. The environment has some light classic rock music playing in the back which is pleasant. Be aware that they are closed on Sundays.

Really small place, 99% sure it's drive thru only. The guy at the window saw my dog sitting in the back and gave me a complimentary "puppy special" which was shaved gyro wrapped in foil! needless to say, she loved it. Service was speedy and the food was so good! I highly recommend the pita fries, they're crispy and salty and delicious. Next time I think I would go for the "supreme" addition of onions and mushrooms to the sandwich. It wasn't bad but that addition would have kicked it up a notch. I'll be back to try the falafel next.

Was looking forward to some tasty chicken souvlaki and gyro sandwiches. They were staffed strangely with only 1 cook and 3 people to take orders. Most people came to drive the through. We were the only 2 people sitting inside to eat. When I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter the server frowned and said it would take at least 15 minutes and did I still want it? Okayyyy.... I still wanted it, and the gyro sandwich for my mom. The platter came with 2 small skewers of chicken, maybe 3 oz total, a pita and a small portion of over salted Greek fries. I actually was still hungry after eating this meal. The meat was salty and dry. Moms gyro sandwich was a bit better, but I think $9 for a gyro that comes with nothing is a bit pricey. I'll post photos. We won't be back.

Very OK gyro....nothing exceptional. I found the meat ratio to be on the low side and could've used more tzakiki sauce. I was very let down by the "Greek fries." To me, this means feta and maybe some tzakiki sauce. To them, this meant fries with what I guess was was a Greek seasoning on them? My expectations may have been off. But I was disappointed.

How do you make a 5 star claim on a drive thru? Here's how: 1-Clean building inside and out. The grounds look like they were once a Rally's or a Coney Island drive thru. There are no seats, unless you count your car. It is after all a drive thru. Looking in from the DT window, it is very clean looking and smells good. 2- Friendly staff - I spoke with 2 young ladies this evening and both were nice and seemed happy to be there. They were courteous and friendly. 3-Good Food - the Pita fries are off the chain good. The cuts of lamb in the gyros were huge and tender. Everything tasted fresh. This goes for the tziki sauce, real fresh cucumbers, very subtle flavor! 4- good value - a filling meal under $10. 5 - fast: in and out under 5 minutes. Back to the gyro - mine was the royals with the tasty feta and onions. Not too strong, maybe the best onions and peppers ever, very mild, almost sweet. The meat was great and plentiful. Again, pita fries are unique and tasty.

Very good. They seasoned the lettuce and tomatoes that came on the gyro. The fries were fresh and well seasoned as well. Over all would definitely recommend and will be back.

Boy do I love this place, however, the last 5-6 times they seem to forget either the side of Taziki/Feta every single time. My fault for not checking my food before I drive away, but I should trust if I'm paying for something I expect to receive it.

Say yes to the express. When I come home from work I am the poster child for those snickers commercials where extreme hunger turns normal people into monsters. Knowing this my loving mama picked me up a Falafel Wrap from the Pitaria Express because she cares about the safety and sustainability of my family. The Falafel Wrap was perfect: the falafel was perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and nutty on the inside, the pita bread was soft and yummy and the veggies were fresh. The diced onions were pretty intense but I'm a big girl and I handled it. I loved the yogurt sauce on top as well. It was super simple and satiating. The Baklava followed the same formula: perfect textures and consistency, not too sweet, just simple and good.

I have no idea what this is but it hurt my tooth when I bit down on it. It was in my gyro..

The food was amazing. The staff was helpful. The only bad thing was having to pay for tziki on the gyro.

As a side, I ordered the potatoes which I thought would be more like Greek potatoes and the plate came with potato chips. The fish was good, but I probably would not order it again. They've earned another star because the waitress was friendlier and the sandwich was OK. So, I tried this again after my last dismal review. They have a special of a grilled chicken sandwich so I ordered that. The order came with potato chips and I had a side of their grilled potatoes. I am so sad that this review is not as good as my last one. The employee at the register was anxious to take my order and did not listen when I had questions. I finally had to say that I have questions because all the heard was "beef". What I wanted to know is if I could get the gyro disassembled. I prefer to eat the meat and pita separately because I just don't eat that much bread. She asked someone who assured me that this could be done. (If it couldn't, I would have been perfectly happy going next door. It was delivered completely assembled and the person just walked off without a word. I don't know why but this saddened me. So, I started to eat it as it was and the meat had gristle through it- and I don't mean in just 4-5 pieces. I'm not sure how you quality control that unless you actually cut the meat yourself. I felt a bit let down because I had tipped well before the food was delivered. The restroom was clean and I appreciate that. There was no salt and pepper on the table but the delivery person (same as cashier) didn't ask if I needed anything. I don't know if I will be back.

We parked in the parking lot and entered the restaurant to order food bowls and wraps. We chose from several bowl options, including the Chicken Wrap, Kebab Bowl, Grilled Chicken Bowl, Smoked Salmon Bowl, and for dessert, Baklava. We took our seats at the cafe and our order arrived in 10 minutes. The bowls were delicious and refreshing, giving us the protein needed for our journey. The smoked salmon and grilled chicken were especially noteworthy, and we loved them both. Even our toddler enjoyed the food, and he highly recommends Mediterranean Cafe.

We were informed that we could seat ourselves. The dining area is not extremely roomy, but the space is just right. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were very tasty (though I expected them to be a bit bigger) and grilled wings, which were good. My husband ordered the wedge salad and Rae's burger (with fries). I ordered the market fish sandwich with dressed greens. I was informed the fish for the day was red snapper (yum!). Unfortunately, shortly after placing our order, Buster relayed some bad news - they were out of the red snapper. Not sure yet how that happened when the restaurant opened at 3:00 and we arrived around 4:00. Perhaps the folks in the kitchen didn't apprise Buster that there was no more fish??? In any case, though I was a bit disappointed, it was ok. I ordered a side Caesar salad, had a couple of the wings, a few of the stuffed mushrooms, and still had leftovers. Both our salads were larger than expected; my husband didn't get to his burger and had to bring that home as well. We ordered the bread pudding to go (which we were able to share when we got home in that it was a pretty decent helping). Note, the bread pudding was tasty, but not as moist as I expected; however, eating it with Vanilla Ice Cream worked wonders! Overall, we had a nice, relaxing time at Rae's, and look forward to sampling items from the dinner menu during our next visit.

The service is great, we were greeted immediately while walking in. The server was patient in waiting for our little catch up conversation. They were able to accommodate a virgin cocktail for my pregnant friend. The food tasted delicious! Being a vegetarian, I appreciate the multiple options they offered. I'm impressed with the greens, it's not the common house side salad but more of mixed spring greens w/ cucumbers! I loved it! I hope that they would consider adding soup to the sides on the menu. It would go great with their salad or handhelds.
