Falafel pita deluxe with no humans add Taziki with Greek fries.

I really love the food here and the price of the food. The only reason why I gave four stars is because sometimes when I order, I don't get exactly what I ordered and I feel like when I make the correction is not received well even though I'm being as nice as possible. The inside is clean and again the food is really really good.

Noticed a Pitaria sign on the old Subway and stopped in to check it out. There were cars wrapped around the building for the drive thru and a couple customers ahead of me in line inside. Busy as they were they got my food to me in about 10 minutes. I got a hummus pita, the gyro supreme, pita fries and a self-serve fountain soda. The portions were huge and the food delicious. I actually ended up eating with a knife and fork. The hummus pita was my favorite at the Pitaria Express down the street and is my favorite here as well (so far). I also love the seasoning on the pita fries and the tzatziki dipping sauce. Interested in trying the kabobs next time. Quite a few people came in behind me, so word is definitely out about this place. Pandemic-specific info: Staff were wearing masks. Hand sanitizer is available for customers. They did not ask me to sign my receipt. That said, tables looked dirty and social distancing did not appear to be being enforced, so maybe don't dine in. The outdoor seating looks nice though, if you don't mind the noise of Apalachee Pkwy.

From the moment I got to the window, a young blonde girl was WONDERFUL!!! She answered all my questions and even offered her suggestions. I orderd the Sponikopita, Tabuleh,2 Supreme, and a kids chicken & cheese pita... EVERYTHING was really good! I was SO SURPRISED the order was perfect and the food was REALLY good! We will def stop by again.

Pitaria is a Tallahassee classic. It was my favorite place to go during college and I was sad when they closed temporarily. Their lamb gyros are excellent and the pita fries are good too. I would not recommend the chicken gyro however (it's dry). They have a relatively quick drive-thru, but the restaurant is a little difficult to get to if you are approaching from the east because you have to do a u-turn. I got my food at the drive-thru this time around so I wasn't sure if they still have the delicious deserts they used to sell at the counter. Next time! Overall I'm glad they're back!

I settled in for the fried shrimp, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, while Dawn had the Greek-shrimp salad. We were served quickly and the shrimp was fresh and cooked nicely. I like my fries just a little more crispy than what I received, but they weren't bad. The slaw was good, with just a hint of dill in the mix. Dawn absolutely loved her salad, it was seasoned just right according to her. Everyone was friendly, the waitress made sure we were okay, and the ambience was good. It's a little pricey for everyday dining, but it was definitely worth the price. Give George and Louie's a try if you are in the Thomasville Ga. Area!

Food: I ordered the blue cheese burger, tots, and an ice tea. With tax, $18.33 The burger was very tasty, but it's barely bigger than a slider. The photo I took shows a normal tot in relation to the burger. Tots: cooked right and a good portion. Tipping: optional, and I'm still not sold on tipping for counter service. But here, they do bring it to your table. The issue is the credit card screen; you have 4 options: 20%, 25%, 30%, and "no tip". As I didn't have the option to choose less than 20%, I chose no tip. (Did cash tip the server though) Food good. Service good, value and portion not so much.

As a side, I ordered the potatoes which I thought would be more like Greek potatoes and the plate came with potato chips. The fish was good, but I probably would not order it again. They've earned another star because the waitress was friendlier and the sandwich was OK. So, I tried this again after my last dismal review. They have a special of a grilled chicken sandwich so I ordered that. The order came with potato chips and I had a side of their grilled potatoes. I am so sad that this review is not as good as my last one. The employee at the register was anxious to take my order and did not listen when I had questions. I finally had to say that I have questions because all the heard was "beef". What I wanted to know is if I could get the gyro disassembled. I prefer to eat the meat and pita separately because I just don't eat that much bread. She asked someone who assured me that this could be done. (If it couldn't, I would have been perfectly happy going next door. It was delivered completely assembled and the person just walked off without a word. I don't know why but this saddened me. So, I started to eat it as it was and the meat had gristle through it- and I don't mean in just 4-5 pieces. I'm not sure how you quality control that unless you actually cut the meat yourself. I felt a bit let down because I had tipped well before the food was delivered. The restroom was clean and I appreciate that. There was no salt and pepper on the table but the delivery person (same as cashier) didn't ask if I needed anything. I don't know if I will be back.

I can assure you should not miss restaurant. The ambience is perfect Moroccan culture down to the red soap, dispensers and papertowels, and sinks in the restroom. I did not think it looked like a restaurant from the outside. The prices are truly surprisingly low for the quality of the food. The shish kebabs meet was tender, the rice was delicious. The lamb leg melted in your mouth. The hummus was delicious, the pita bread was fresh. I could have eaten more of the wonderful and very tasty in grape leaves, which had a little spicy. This place needs to be on your list to try. I understand it maybe a long way however, if you want, real Mediterranean Morocco food this is a place to go. It may be two hour from my house, but I'll be coming back. We met the chefs, who were very friendly, information and knowledgeable.

If you know anything about middle eastern, Turkish or Mediterranean food this place doesn't have the flavor. Had the chicken shawarma and it's made from chicken fingers, the fattoush was a bit of a joke it was iceberg lettuce (lol) and not one touch of sumac. While the food was meh I wouldn't call this Mediterranean by any stretch of the imagination. If I didn't know Mediterranean maybe it would somehow fool me. Buddy had the lamb shank and it was tender but completely bland. Sorry, won't be back.
