The positive - Probably the best selection of limited release whiskeys I have ever come across in Georgia. They have everything...EVERYTHING. The 'top shelf' (literally, pictured) behind the counter is full of all the hardest stuff to find from Buffalo Trace and beyond. The staff was friendly, too. The negative - Hands down the worst prices I have ever come across for limited release whiskeys at a retail store in Georgia. None of their BT Antique Collection bottles were less than $1000 all the way up to $3000: like, really? I am well aware of the whiskey shortage and that prices have gone up over the years, but this is far reaching to the point of eclipsing the secondary market. After asking the prices on a handful of bottles, I soon realized why they had such an amazing collection of bottles that aren't moving. They did have Eagle Rare at a fair price...but you had to by two bottles of 1792 in order to buy one. The same typical games to move low end product and continue to get high end allocation. Overall a disappointing experience. I can't say I'd be back...but if you want to drop four-figures on a rare bottle of whiskey, you know where to go! read more

I have not been in awhile so I wanted to see if they had any hard to find whiskey. I save up so I can splurge on a expensive bottle. I noticed a few allocated bottles behind the counter but with no prices. I attempted to ask for the price on a few bottles and the store keeper got very angry and would not tell me the price after a few seconds. I thought I was in a Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi. A very angry and belligerent shop keeper who refused to talk to me or look at me. I would not do business with this store. I recommend he move his store to Philadelphia or New Jersey. read more

Wow. Talk about mark up. As a bourbon aficionado, I have a pretty good feel for fair pricing on bottles. Their shelf selection is pretty well stocked & priced only slightly above MSRP. I was stopping in hoping to score a particular shelf bourbon. No dice. I always make it a point to check behind the counter when I strike out on shelf stock. It's their pricing allocated bottles that pose a problem. I inquired about a few bottles I already have to gauge their pricing. Talk about absurdity! Some bottles were priced more than 2x time the secondary value! It's no wonder they're still sitting on the shelf. Unfortunately, some sad fool will fork up the money to "score" those bottle and perpetuate the rip-off these people are running. Thanks, but no thanks. read more

A liquor store with a drive thru, what more could you want?! This is my neighborhood liquor store and it has a great selection for such a small space. The guys working there are always really polite and helpful and their prices are on par, if not better than most package stores I've been to. I have never felt so compelled to write a review on a business, and I mean this in the worst way possible. I went in looking for some bourbon. I asked if they had any Elmer T. Lee, and I was shocked to hear that they did have it in stock. The reason why they had in stock became obvious when they informed me their price was $119.99 for a 750 ml. Let's take a minute to think about that. They were trying to charge me the price of a Pappy Van Winkle for an Elmer T Lee. The suggested retail price for Elmer T. Lee is $30-$40. You may look this up to verify it. You can also take a short drive to Green's Beer and Liquor and verify it. They charge $35.99 for Elmer T Lee. If they don't have it in stock, you can put your name on the waiting list. I will never shop at this place again. read more

I'd be a rich man today had I never darkened the door here. Service is agreeable and selection is what they gotta KA's love the place. I assume they still have kegs. They took my check years ago which is about all it took for me to trade with a business. I never have figured out how the drive through worked but they've got one. Though they do not have a great wine selection, this place has some great deals on beer and generally has a decent selection of hard liquor. Big plusses include the drive through window and the dollar plane bottles (including high quality brands) by the cashier. Big plus- Was picking up beer at the drive through window with my dog Vince and they had dog treats for him! major win for vince (and me, who was now beer equipped). Actually a great, albeit stuffed full liquor store. They had nearly everything I was looking for: quality rye (Templeton), sweet vermouth (Rossi, but not Lilet which I normally drink), bitters (though they should have Peychauds!) and a great wine selection. Been a big fan of this place for years now...not just due to the drive up window but more the no fuss, no muss attitude of the gentlemen working the counter. They get the frat boys loaded up with Natty Ice, out the door and outta the way, then they get you your beverages and shuffle you off the same way. This is my local liquor store that I come to for all the basics. The staff is really friendly and they know me by name (not sure what that says about me, but, I digress). They have good prices and usually have a really great deal on some fancy beer. They have a decent selection of wines and if there's anything they don't have that you want they're usually pretty accommodating and will order a case for you. I also come here for kegs when I'm having parties. The kegs are very reasonably priced, they have an average selection of beer. The last time I got a keg I didn't have to pay the deposit because they said, "it's cool, we know you'll be back with it." Again, I might come here to often... They do really have a drive thru window and they're quick at getting you what you need if you decide to use it. I like to go in because I like chatting with the staff. The place isn't fancy inside, but they have everything you need, including ping pong balls just in case you forgot when you're planning a beer pong tournament. read more
