We were a little nervous about going with Pius based on reviews here. Leading up to the install we were given some inaccurate information about the slab dimensions and installation process so when the installers showed up, it was apparent that the gap between our cabinets and wall was too large to perform the work. We were told that they would scribe the counters to the wall which would cover the gap; this was not the case. The slab was only 25.5" wide so they couldn't cut lengthwise to fit. We had to make some adjustments before the counters could be installed. That being said, they came back out 2 days later and everything went well from there. The second time they came, the slab was plenty wide to cover the gap. Communication and customer service is not up to par with the more expensive places. If you have nice and plumb walls and your cabinets are snug to the walls then you're going to be fine in the end with Pius - if you need the peace of mind that comes with a well-explained and executed process, go with a more expensive place. The price here can't be beat! read more

Pius Kitchen & Bath is #1 in my book. We worked with Jason and received SUPERIOR customer service for our kitchen and bath cabinets as well as countertops. Jason communicated with us throughout the process and went out of his way to get cabinets we realized we needed at the last minute. When it came to measuring and fabricating the countertops we realized we couldn't cut the stone on site but the team at Pius said "no problem" came to the house to measure, went back to the shop to fabricate, then came back at 5pm to install. The Installers were top notch as well! I can't say enough about Pius and the excellent customer service. Not to mention that the cabinets look great and the marble counters are incredible. We used Pius twice, in the past, for kitchen renovation and for our new home. The staff and installers were courteous and helpful with sound guidance and work. So, Pius was the first place we went to order granite for an outdoor kitchen. Before we were even to the counter, a snotty, over-made up little white witch brat behind the counter was sneering and barking at us and didn't want to hear what we are looking for or even take the opportunity to up sell me. First I'd like to mention that I did not see the Yelp reviews prior to committing to Pius for my slab counter tops, some of the comments are very compelling and they would have had me looking somewhere else. With respect to my experience in their showroom, I agree with some of the other posts. I also experienced a lot of bickering between the staff and I had to be a bit assertive to get assistance. But once engaged, the sales staff was helpful and efficient. I received several calls prior to the installation, one about a day before and a follow up within two hours. On the day of installation I received a call in the morning giving me a two hour window, and I also received a call from the installer about 30 minutes before they arrived (slightly ahead of schedule). Three installers arrived and I spent half an hour with them verifying some of the details, joint locations, sink cut out configuration, etc. When asked, the crew lead stated he had seven years experience. I've done a lot of remodeling, and as I watched the initial preparation it became immediately apparent that the installer knew what he was doing. After reviewing the three 9' slabs, I was later asked if I wanted to review the template that was scribed on to the slabs. Everything had been laid out as discussed. I will also add that the installers were very communicative and thoughtful, all polishing, cutting and grinding was done outside. Without asking, everything was washed and cleaned up afterward, and not a cigarette butt anywhere. The installation, and especially the joints, were well done. 3 cm slabs do not flex like the thinner material and the entire installation requires a higher level of precision. I also had an undermount sink and faucet installed and the "no radius" cuts looked great. The installer asked my preference on a few different options for cutting the hole and mounting the sink and fabricated my preferences perfectly. My counter edges were slightly eased, something readily achievable in the field with hand tools. If your are wanting an edge detail with a bevel or some other detail that requires a sharp edge you may want to discuss how they achieve that kind of detail. My choice to use Pius was largely due to their price, much cheaper than some of the other places I received quotes from. In accepting a low bidder I understand you can't have it all, but when it was all said and done I can't really say I gave up anything. They showed up on time, were tidy and did a great job. Likewise - I am not going to argue with the other reviewers but they smell like the competition ("Do not bring your business here"... really?) I have used Pius on 2 remodels and have referred them to a few others who were also very happy with the outcome. Initially, customer service was "so-so", but then again I went in on Sunday afternoon when everyone else in the world decided to come in as well (and trust me, I'm not the most patient person in the world either). Lastly, when my electrician broke the backsplash I had JUST had Pius install, they gave me an exactly sized (cut) back splash at their cost. I will use them again. read more

They were quick to sell us a small vanity and very helpful up front. Made us feel like we were getting us a deal, etc. I went and picked up the vanity and counter at their warehouse, took it home, and the counter didn't fit on the vanity. Wrong size. There were also scratches and dings in this brand new 500$ vanity. I had to drive all the way down there to get it fixed. They couldn't get a hold of the manager John on his cellphone when I asked for compensation for gas money, I live an hour north. Woman at the front desk at their showroom on first was rude. Also their cabinets aren't actually that well made. They are all imported from China and assembled over on 4th ave. Cheap quality, overpriced. Would not recommend read more

We purchased granite counter tops with backsplash. I'm giving them two stars for the good pricing and we like the countertop we ended up with. They lost three stars due to the fact that it took us three additional months to get our backsplash and the horrible customer service associated with that ordeal. The nitty gritty: The installers arrived with our countertops and informed us the backsplash was on back order. We followed up multiple times with Pius. They told us repeatedly that the backsplash would be available in a month and that they would call. A couple of times we called and were told they would check with the warehouse and call us right back. We never heard from Pius. In month three I called again and asked about our backsplash. I explained that our backsplash hadn't been installed. The girl on the phone told me they don't install backsplashes. This confused me; why would anyone sell me a counter and backsplash and only install half of it? The installer had apologized that they would have to do the backsplash later. We had some back and forth and indeed there was no line item for backsplash install on the invoice. We had failed to notice this and the salesperson hadn't bothered to tell us. She then told me I had to pick up the backsplash myself. I really lost my cool at this point. Due to their poor planning they were now expecting us to make a special trip to haul two 8ft pieces of granite! I told her I wanted what we had paid for and could she just check whether it was in stock. After waiting on hold for several minutes there was good news. I asked if we could pick it up tomorrow (Sunday) and she said that was fine. Sunday morning I called to confirm on the location of the warehouse to pick up the backsplash. I was told first to come to the 1st Avenue location to get a pink slip. We arrived at the first Ave. location and they informed us the warehouse is closed on Sunday. Arghhh! I talked to two different people about picking up and both failed to realize or tell me the warehouse was closed. Are you kidding me! After explaining our situation they were kind enough to say they could help us out. We just needed to drive to the 4th Ave. store and explain ourselves all over again. Then drive with someone to the warehouse to finally get our backsplashes. read more

For the price level and quality, I don't think anyplace will beat Pius. I don't have a fancy home so I didn't need expensive cabinets and countertop. Go to one of the big box stores if you want and need top end quality & price but you'll find Pius can compete at the mid price level market. This place had been around for some time because they have established a system in place from design, to manufacturing their own cabinets in China, to assembling the pieces in Seattle, delivery and installations. A lot people have been through this place so they have done plenty of kitchens. I came in with dimensions in hand and Annatesia did the initial kitchen design. It took me a couple of weeks to commit to Pius. When I did, I emailed Annatesia but she was very slow to reply so I went back to the showroom. There, I met Amber and we reviewed my kitchen plans, made changes and put my down payment. It is true that no one calls 24 hours ahead for delivery or installations. It's more like a couple of hours. But the crews arrived on the promised dates. I'm very satisfied with the cabinet install. It took 3 days but the fit and finish by Anatoly (Tony) and crew was excellent. All the appliances fit tightly and no gaps, seams or scratches between the cabinets. It was worth the wait. The countertop was installed by Wayne and his assistant. Top notch workmanship. He made excellent suggestions for angle cuts for the edges around the sink and a slight lip over the sink. He placed the countertop seams where it's visibly pleasing. It's obvious he's done a lot of installations. Both crews did a good job of cleaning up after they were done. I agree with some of the reviews regarding lack of service, in person, email and phone. I was patient though and I got service by showing up in person and when they first open. I did have a couple problems. First is a missing door and light bars under the cabinets. Their Quality Centet rep (Sally) is taking care of these back order items. She's kept me informed via email on when the items will arrive and installing them. She was also very helpful with obtaining touch up for the cabinet. She gave me the paint number and store name on where to buy it. The second problem was the long lead time to install the cabinet handles. I got impatient and canceled it and decided to do it myself. I got an apology from the installer and a quick refund for the cost of the installation. Overall, it's not been a perfect experience but I was not disappointed on how I was treated to issues and problems that occurred. I'm glad I was persisted but patient in working thru the problems. I have to give high praise to Sally for working the missing parts and always keeping me informed. In the end, I would recommend Pius to anyone. How do these people stay in business? I ordered 2 vanities (on the recommendation of my contactror). They called to tell me that they were ready, my contractor went to pick them up, had to wait 3 hours and only came away with one. They counter tops were cut improperly and they cracked one backsplash and attempted to repair it thinking I wouldn't notice. When I called to complain and see what we could do about the situation, no one could even remember my order. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. read more

In the past 4 years we have used Pius 4 times. We have always found the people in the store to be very helpful, although sometimes they can be shorthanded- especially the store on 4th Avenue. The biggest problem is their installers. The first couple of times their installers came - they were great. They cleaned up after themselves- the installation was done well and we were very happy with the product. The last two installations have been really disappointing. Pius gives you a window for your installation- morning or afternoon and you sit and wait but the problem is they cancel, reschedule, the work is shoddy and they leave a mess. Last month Pius was scheduled to install a piece of granite for an outdoor kitchen and install a bathroom vanity and granite countertop. On the day of the installation, they called around noon and said they would not be coming. They said they did not have an installer working that day who was "skilled enough" to install our granite. "Didn't I want my granite to turn out well?" This created quite a problem because we had scheduled additional builders to work on the outdoor kitchen and it threw the whole project off. They said they could come the following weekend. They showed up the next weekend and when carrying the large piece of granite to the back of the house for the kitchen- they hit an outdoor light and broke it. We didn't see them do it- but the light is on the front of out house, lighting the driveway where we park and we would have noticed had it been broken earlier. The light was skewed sideways and the glass was broken. We asked them about the light and they denied it. We didn't see them actually hit the light and really had no recourse. In the bathroom, the vanity door opened the wrong direction- and two of the drawers kept falling off the runner. We didn't realize this until later. The other odd thing is that after they arrived, a guy shows up at our house with an additional piece of granite and starts cutting and sanding it. It wasn't our granite and I noticed the guy was just standing around, not helping them, so I asked them about it. He said it was his granite- and I guess they gave him our address and he just came to our house to use their tools and our water and electricity. They also left a huge mess in our driveway. So I went back to Pius to talk to them about fixing the door and the drawers on the vanity and I had to order a pantry for the bathroom (they did not have it in stock when I placed the original order). They charged me $75 to replace the vanity door and they would fix the drawers for free. So I scheduled the job - 3 weeks out- and waited. I thought it was weird when I didn't get any kind of call from Pius today, so I called them at 11:00am to see if they knew what time their installer would be here. They sounded kind of funny as if they didn't know about the job and said they would call me right back. I waited until 1:00 and called them back and the woman who answered said they were loading up the truck and would be here this afternoon. No show... Finally at 4:30 I called again and a young man answered and said he would have to call me back. Pius called me back at 4:45 and they told me they would be coming- could they come next Monday or Tuesday? It almost appears that management for Pius has changed. My first two experiences were great- flawless really. The last two have been mismanaged. I used to recommend these guys- but not anymore.... read more

Do not use these people for granite. We used them and had a disaster. They actually put a broken piece of granite in and thought that was OK?. After almost 4 months and a lot of problems we finally got it done. We've been planning for our kitchen remodel for 2 years now. But we were very frustrated, we couldn't find the right kitchen cabinets and counter top. Until one day, my husband's friend recommended "PIUS". So we decided to take a look and we immediately fell in love with the place because they have a pretty decent size showroom. On that day we found the perfect kitchen cabinets and countertop for our kitchen, ordered them and made a down payment. We worked with Randi, she's been great in assisting us. Our contractor took over in making sure that we ordered the right measurements/size for our cabinets and counter top. January 25, 2016 - Delivery date - Kitchen Cabinets So when the kitchen cabinets were delivered, we were so happy we made the right choice. We love the cherry color. However we are expecting all should be in proper condition. Some scratches here and there. When our contractor put the cabinet doors and drawers, most of them are not properly aligned. And we returned one of the cabinets because it wasn't the proper size for the Microwave and the Oven. It is quite challenging getting schedule when the cabinet will be picked up. The effort in our part should be constant follow up otherwise days goes by without hearing from them. Another scheduled was made for February 15 (Update-nothing was delivered on the 15th =(. We will see if something will show up on the 17th as scheduled again. (UPDATE: the final cabinet was delivered, however our contractor clearly reminded not to forget the fillers which wasn't included in the delivery. *sigh* February 3, 2016 - Delivery date - Kitchen Countertop We were so excited and anxious to have our countertop to be delivered and installed. We received a call the day of delivery informing us that the countertop we ordered was "Out of Stock", really?!!! Our contractor talk to Randi and later she came back to us with a solution, they will deliver a 3cm thick instead of 2cm (no added cost). So they rescheduled the delivery and installation on February 5,2016. Early morning of February 5, we called the office just to check what time should we expect the delivery, we were told they are expected by noon. They came 1 hour earlier than expected. However, the Granite slab they brought was different! 2 big slab were totally different and the small one for the bar sink was the only one that was right. So the frustrations was building up, wondering "What the heck is going on?"!!! Of course we didn't blame the sub-contractors, they suggested to call the office while they head back to the warehouse. We decided to go to the Sales office to fix the problem. Randi was prepared, she said we need to go to the other sales office and wait there to choose other granite. The lady we spoke with was very helpful, she's chinese and she's the one who was communicating at the warehouse. After few minutes of waiting, we were told to go to warehouse. We met with the sub-contractors and they actually found the 2cm granite we originally ordered. They picked them up and headed to our house again. They started working about 3pm until they finished about 8pm. They expertly cut everything manually. We watched them working and validated that these guys really knows what they are doing. Before they left they cleaned the mess at the driveway. At the end of the day we were so delighted that the right granite countertop was finally installed. We were happy, they worked fantastic. Comments: Our frustrations were: 1. They will set the delivery date then at the day of the delivery they will tell us the product we ordered is not available. 2. When we went to the warehouse, we witness that there's no "System" and "Person-in-Charge" to make sure that the product need to be delivered are tag, labelled, checked ahead of time to ensure smooth transition. Our impression is....(The day of delivery, sub-contractor or delivery guy will get the invoice and that's the only time they will check the items, thus causing the delay and when they can't find the item, they will cal the sales office then they will call the client and say "Sorry your expected order is not available to be delivered". Sorry can't do anything when we are paying our contractors to finished the work but we have no delivery items to work with! The order wasn't made a day before, it was made 2 months! 3. The cabinet drawers and doors are not properly aligned. Our frustations was - we "PAID" the right amount at the right time. We expected a better service and product. I hope PIUS will send someone to fix this problems. Piece of advice: Be pro-active, follow-up...... We will still recommend "PIUS" but expect the unexpected. I had to remodel my kitchen and had talked to a few friends who have done this before and Pius was recommended. So I went in there and found the cabinets that I liked. I think majority of the staff there were very friendly and I worked with Avis who was very knowledgable and provided me with different options/prices for my kitchen. We planned our kitchen remodel using the IKEA software, then used their diagrams to shop around a few other places. Pius was the worst experience we encountered. Most of the staff look like teenagers, and have the customer service skills to match. When we approached the desk for a quote, two teens were concluding a heated argument with a customer who was unhappy his cabinets hadn't arrived on time. We almost walked out, but persevered. Throughout our quote the teen who served us and the one next to us complained about him to one another in Chinese (you think we can't understand you, but moaning about customers sounds the same in every language!), and seemed to have little interest in our business. We had been hoping for a little advice on what could and couldn't be done, perhaps a revised floor plan, and certainly an itemized list of items in the price. But the girl just followed our diagram, using a calculator to add up, and asked almost no questions. After 15 minutes we were presented with a post-it with the price on for cabinets, countertops and installation. That was our quote! We were not about to hand over several thousand dollars on the strength of a number on a post-it, so we shopped elsewhere. In the end we didn't buy from any of the Sodo stores, but we did have a much better experience at G.S. around the corner. Despite our experience, we still went back to Pius several times to look at design ideas. Often staff behind the counter are using Facebook rather than helping customers. I saw one teen suggesting a customer use marble for kitchen countertops, which everywhere else we've been said that was a terrible idea. Pius makes its own cabinet pulls, and I inquired as to whether they were aluminum; was told by a guy who claimed that he had made them that they were indeed aluminum, despite there being a prominent sign right above them that said they were 100% stainless steel. It's hard to trust a company when you can't rely on the answers to even basic questions. In the end, we have just bought a nice-looking bathroom vanity from Pius (we needed it fast; it's small and cheap - what could possibly go wrong?) On getting it home the wooden frame is badly dented and the doors don't line up. I am kicking myself, because when I re-read this review I ask myself "what the heck was I thinking?" I wouldn't trust this company with another dollar of my money. read more

I would give a zero rating if would be allowed. Prompt service up to the point you pay but the worst quality cabinetry and horrible installation. Not only they are three weeks behind the scheduled finishing time partly because they start a working day only late afternoon and when they show up they end up doing a crappy job and damaging your house. You cannot trust them as far as protecting your property because before you know they are literally SHAVING and sanding your walls to the studs to fit in their "prefabricated" cabinets. They leave the garbage (including used toothpicks) in the middle of your house expecting the owner to clean up their mess. Two guys started the installation in our house and other two continued...yet other(s) to come and further continue, and/or finish...who knows what the future holds? Usually one of the two does not speak English, or rather pretend not to, pulling the game of "I don't know what you are telling me". If you dare to say that you'd like the pieces to be even, lined up, correctly finished and of the same color and also the interiors to be done at least as advertised in their showroom, the answer I got was: "what do you care, it is inside and you cannot see it". What??? I was shocked! General conclusion: it is overpriced, poor quality, way too many unnecessary frustrations. I ended up missing work for 5 days (here and there) just to be home when they promised to come then, as I mentioned, they would show up in the afternoon. DO NOT PAY until you have it all installed and you are happy with it. Learn from my mistake and try to different options, less costly and better quality. read more

He called me first when he heard one of my drawers cannot close automatically 1 day after his work was done. Then he came to my home right away to fix the issue. Pius has a decent selection with very reasonable prices. But, only use them as a supplier. Do NOT engage them for installation or service. Our service experience was AWFUL. They only seem to install or service on Sundays (side work?). The installer didn't use a shield on his grinder and spewed granite and glue all over our cabinets, which he didn't clean up. Calls to have remedied went unanswered for 2 days. Our cabinet supplier actual walked us through the clean up and we had to replace two undercabinet lights. A year later, one of the countertops cracked as it wasn't supported properly. After more than 30 days of repeated phone calls, emails, ever changing staff just to get them to come look at it, we finally gave up and paid someone else to fix it. We were referred here by our realtor. We bought a duplex, so we needed 2 complete kitchens and 2 bath vanities. We were working on one side at a time. So we bought 1 of the kitchens and the 2 vanities first. We were looking for a nice kitchen under $5k and I've got to say that they delivered! We brought in our dimensions. We chose our cabinets. The designer worked with us to create a plan. We made a few changes - she was very pleasant and professional. We then chose our granite countertops and sink. The whole process was low stress. (We arrived after 3pm on Saturday, so we missed the morning rush) You pay for everything upfront, except for the install, which you pay 1/2 at the time of install. The installers ( a group of 5 or 6 guys) were quick and worked well as a team. I highly suggest that you choose your slab after you pay for the kitchen. Then when they come to install, make sure they use the prettiest parts of the slabs. I only gave them 4 stars because the installers were 2 hours late (they did call beforehand, but still...) One of the doors of the cabinets was cracked - they said that they'll exchange it, but that means I'll have to make a drive out there to do that. But really, I'm very happy with them. We've been there 3 times so far and each time, we've had good customer service. The quality of the cabinets isnt top of the line. I'm shocked at all the bad reviews also. I referenced this when I went there and assured that I would put in a positive review based on my experience - so far so good. Seek out Wendy who is a rockstar. She immediately gave me her cell phone number and texts me back immediately when I have a question on anything. I was originally going to buy my countertops from them but ended up getting the cabinets also because their deals are OUTRAGEOUS. I was hesitant to go with Pius for my countertop, given yelp reviews.. but had a fine experience. Randi was so responsive, first in person at the store, then answering numerous emails with questions (our kitchen had a few design changes). The project was on hold, during this time Randi initiated an email that the stock of the slab I was looking at was running low, to see if I wanted to put it on hold (which I did). Stay away from this place. These people do not what good customer service is. We purchased cabinets and granite counter top for our kitchen and a small bathroom. The buying process was good. Kathy was good to work with. Two weeks prior to the installation date, we went to the yard to pick our counter tops. The granite was still in the creates, and the people there took about 45 minutes to get two labs, they broke one, and the one who operates the folk lift almost broke the other one. I told my wife to get out of there before someone gets hurt. We went back a week later, the granite were still in the create, the install date was a week away so we waited to pick out our slabs. The man who operates the folk lift complains in cantonese that we're too picky because we did not want the slab has a chip the size of a quarter (he didn't know that my wife can speak cantonese). What a crock! anyway, it took almost an hour for us to pick three slabs. Couldn't wait to get out of there. The next day, Saturday was the cabinets installation day, guess who shows up? the boss who complained that we did not take the slab that has a chip. He and a younger guy took the whole Saturday, but did not complete the job. They left and said they will come back tomorrow (Sunday) to finish the job. They did not come on Sunday. My wife called Monday morning, and was told that the boss went to China. WTF???? I also notice that the GFI outlet under one of the cabinets was broken. I called to complain, and the first thing they said was "our guys didn't do it". How do they know? They weren't there? The fun never cease... The following Saturday was the counter top installation date. And, the cabinet guy also coming back to finish the job. By they way, they nickle and dime me, and i had to pay about $66 for some thin pieces of wood that they install on the sides of the cabinets on both sides of the sink. But, that was a small price to pay. Three guys came to install the granite counter tops (one was in shorts and crocs). I told them to walk on the card board boxes because we had just refinished our hardwood floors. As soon as i said that the guy in shorts and crocs walked on the floor where there was no card board boxes.... where do they find these guys? They went to work. Until I come in to check how they were going to install the undermount kitchen sink. They said we don't need to install plywood under the granite because it's 3cm. I said fine. But, then they used a thin piece of plywood and cut a hole for the sink, then screwed the plywood to the sides of the cabinets. Now, we have a one inch width piece of plywood around the sink to support its weight. How is that going to hold the sink and the weight of the garbage disposal? I told them to use a thicker piece of plywood, and brackets to secure the sink to the granite. They said I don't know what i am talking about, the installer had done it for 7 yrs, and installed hundreds of jobs and never any complains, blah, blah, blah. Long story short, they do not know how to install an undermount kitchen sink properly. So, i am going to hire a professsional installer to install my kitchen sink. They said it was my false that i didn't have the brackets, and they have to come back, and they have to charge $250 for the return trip. Well, if you do it right the first time, then you don't have to make the second trip. John (the one i talked to from Pius was an idiot. Sally was okay. She has a tough job due to how Pius operates their business). John, go to utube and see how an undermount kitchen sink should be installed. I am tired of dealing with these people. Trying to save a buck, and the hassle is just NOT worth it. Should had gone with Costco or even Home Depot. I could had enjoyed my kitchen now instead of dealing with the Pius people. I'd rather eat dead crows. I am now having a half done kitchen, and a deep sense of regret of having dealing with Pius. Like I said before. Stay away from this place. read more

I worked with Elijah to put together a bath and kitchen. He was slow but helpful in the design process. His assistance ended once they had my deposit. My complaints are mostly about the installation process. There was no communication from Pius and I had a difficult time reaching them as they either did not answer the messages I left or the voice mailbox was full. In addition, their delivery and installation were very disjointed and pieces such as cabinet hardware and faucets were not put in with the orders as delivered so things could not be completed.The cabinets were delivered by two Chinese men, one who spoke no English and the other little English. It was difficult communicating where the cabinets should be deposited. Another team, this time Ukrainian, came several days later to install the cabinets. They called the night before to confirm, were very professional and efficient. They were wonderful and I wish the rest of the Pius team was as focused and professional as these gentlemen were. Unfortunately they were sent without the cabinet hardware for the drawers so could not finish the installation. The counter tops were a third delivery and two different Chinese men came to do the installation. They did not bring the tile backsplash. I was under the impression that the Pius installer would put in backsplash. There is nothing in the contract to the contrary, though when I reached him later Elijah said I had to pick up tiles myself, and arrange installation. He insists it is spelled out in the contract but it is not. Instead, I was repeatedly told how it was one stop all inclusive service being offered. Again, one installer spoke no English, but smoked constantly and littered my yard with cigaret butts. All the wet saw cutting was done in my front yard and while some effort was put in to cleaning up, there was a tremendous amount of debris left behind. Both counter installation men brought mud and debris in to the house on their shoes despite my repeated efforts to keep them on the cloth floor covering protecting the wood floors. I have tried to get a refund for the materials not delivered and the services not performed. The communication effort on my part has exceeded reasonable levels. The Pius company is horrible at answering their phones. Thank goodness I charged it all on my Amex card so I have put in a claim for the refund through Amex since Pius is not responsive. I gave two stars because the cabinets are nice for the price, though I would never recommend the company to anyone due to their inability to maintain even basic communication. There are plenty of other options for this type of product that don't require the frustration I have experienced. read more

I purchased kitchen & bath cabinets and granite counter-tops from Pius. I will not repeat. The cabinetry is constructed of cheap plywood, produced in China and locally assembled. The boxes arrived with the top edge of the rear panel out of alignment with the side panel, and the same with the opposite side meeting the top edge of the front of the box. The corner braces likewise extended above the plane of the cabinet top. That makes for a difficult task of leveling the cabinets. The front face of the cabinets - the hardwood door - had good finish and look nice, but most of the drawers were out of alignment with the cabinet doors by about 1/4". One of the cabinets was missing the pegs used to support the shelves. I had to return one of the drawers due to the paper-thin veneer at the bottom of the drawer had split. Overall, the quality is cheaper than the value. The granite itself is a good value, but the installation was not. Pius sub-contracts installation to outside vendors. I would not recommend that route. Hire your own contractor. The installation of our breakfast bar, above the kitchen counter-top ended up out of level by 5/8" over a 9.5' span. You only notice it if you look. The installers use a wet-saw on site to cut the granite to fit, and they wore heavy rubber boots while cutting. Unfortunately, they did not put down anything to protect my carpets and before I noticed had tracked muddy boot prints across the floor and up the stairs. The back splash around the side and rear of the kitchen counter was left with large gaps between the stone and the wall. No caulking was done. That was a DYI after-installation fix on my part. I voiced multiple complaints to Pius, mostly about the cost of the installation and other errors. They gave me a $50 credit. read more

Terrible experience with them. If i can give them 0 stars i would. I would never recommend them to anyone. Stay away from them go somewhere else. First order we had. We paid them in full and after 2-3 weeks they told us that they forgot to charge us something, so i ended up paying another $900. Secondly, they sold our first order which was shakers style cabinets and told us it wont be available for another 2 -4 months. We ended up getting a different style of kitchen cabinets from them. Third , we ordered some glass door cabinets which they promised but when the cabinets arrived , it was missing. They told us it will take another 6 weeks. When we finally opened these cabinets, every single one of them were damaged, marks on them, painted over, scratched, had different holes for brackets, rubber stoppers were different so doors were closing unevenly. Metal magnet bracket on lazy susan was realigned improperly and left an extra hole. caulking or glue that was holding the door was showing gaps in between some doors and plywood seems to be coming off. Cabinet doors was missing and microwave didn't fit. This was our first experience with pius and will never go back again. People who work there didnt seems to care, Anesthesia, Ashley and Amy. read more

We had been to Pius a few times previously to scout out what we needed to expand our kitchen (prior owners had remodeled with Pius and we were lucky they still had the same exact counter/cabinets!). We learned that unless you get there first thing in the morning, you will be waiting quite a while before anyone can help you. Once our wait was up, we were lucky enough to work with Mike. We thought we had everything figured out but Mike made a few suggestions to help with aesthetics. He took the time to walk us around the store pointing out his suggestions versus what we thought we wanted (never felt pressured, instead given options which was great). We were able to pick up everything we needed within a few weeks (as promised). When we reported back that the trash/recycle pull out wasn't working as promised (didn't soft close and didn't pull out all the way), Mike immediately had their service team on it and the cabinet (along with one other) was fixed within a matter of days. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Mike and absolutely love the additional cabinets/counter we installed! Thanks, Mike!! read more

My family and I have used PIUS a handful of times. We have done two kitchens and a bar. We, personally, have been happy with the finished products. The kitchens I installed myself because I used to be a contractor, and am still a perfectionist. The bar, I didn't have time to install and it was a fairly easy job, so I trusted them to do it. A couple of younger Russian guys came over and installed the cabinetry, the next day the granite guys were there. The cabinet install wasn't A+, but it sufficed. The cabinets are not the highest quality, but bang for your buck, it's great. The majority of the sales staff is a little standoffish, but if you engage them they are happy to help. The granite is cheap, and the installs have been great. I'm sorry the rest of you have had bad experiences, but I have, overall, been happy. Sure, you can go to Lowes and by Kraftmade for 3X the price, but why? As I said, bang for your buck, Pius can't be beat. read more

I used Pius for my granite countertops and saved over a $1000 had I used Home Depot, Lowes or Ikea. The three other vendors mentioned had a 3 week to a month wait to come out to measure to create a template. Then it was another 2 weeks to manufacture and install. How do they expect people to live without a kitchen for another 1-1/2 months after already remodeling for weeks? After canceling my order with Home Depot due to the fact they didn't even have my product in stock in 3cm (unless I wanted to wait an additional month), I stopped by Pius. They're pricing for material and install is really good. There were some communication issues, but in the end, I got my countertops installed in 2 weeks and they look great. Overall, I'm very happy with the final product. Therefore, hang in there even if the sales people and installers barely speak English. It's worth the time savings and cash savings in my opinion. read more

12/20: Visited the showroom and chose a 30" espresso bathroom vanity cabinet, a side panel, and prefab quartz top from the showroom floor! Purchased from Associate # 1. Looking good; however, I was told the combination would not be available (and/or assembled) until 12/31 (~ten days lead time). 12/30: Called the store to check on status, hoping to pick-up the unit one day early for my tile installer. Was told they'd have to 'check on the status' and call me back. 12/30: Sure enough Associate # 2 called me back after about three hours and told me: (1) The 'side panel' wasn't available for the bathroom vanity cabinet, but only available for the kitchen cabinet. Note: A kitchen cabinet is taller and wider, as compared to a bathroom vanity cabinet. (2) My paperwork was never transferred to the warehouse for assembly because the 'new person' (Associate # 1, who just happened to be vacation) forgot to submit it. (3) She would substitute the kitchen cabinet for the bathroom vanity cabinet at no additional cost to me. Also, that the quartz top would fit the kitchen substitute. And, that my cabinet would be ready on 12/31, as promised. 12/31: Arrived at Pius to pick-up my vanity and quickly thereafter waited on the warehouse loading dock. After about 30 minutes Associate # 3 arrived with a packaged vanity, which I unwrapped and found a scratch on one of the doors. He agreed to replace the door with another one that they would be getting from 'another' warehouse. While I continued waiting, I asked about the side panel. This is when I learned that the unit they had assembled was the bathroom vanity cabinet, and not the kitchen cabinet that was described to me the night before by Associate # 2. I was told by Associate # 3: (1) The 'side panel' wasn't available for the bathroom vanity cabinet, although he suggested as a workaround that I take a side panel about 3" shorter than the actual cabinet depth. (2) The quartz top wouldn't fit the kitchen cabinet, which wasn't the story I heard from Associated # 2. (2) That Associate # 2 was a 'new person', who conveniently wasn't working that day. At that point I cancelled my entire order and left the store without a bathroom or kitchen cabinet. Really, I took two trips to Seattle, and waited 10 days for this? read more

I cannot even rate these guys, they are crazy! Cabinet quality is what you expect for import cabinets but as for the service WOW They send someone out to measure that knows nothing about installation. After bringing out the wrong cabinets (tried to pull one over on me) promised to upgrade with cherry from oak. Installers had to take back cabinets and come out again with new ones. Brought out maple. Trying to pull one over on me again. Since this was not a main kitchen I am letting it go, but they really tried to deceive me. Speaking of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing, they have one hand in their pocket! Steer clear if you want to retain their sanity! I have had numerous quality problems with these products. Plywood used in their construction is sometimes warped, and sometimes quite substantially. I ordered unassembled cabinets but some of the pre-drilled holes are not located accurately so they cannot be assembled correctly. I am trying to work with the salesperson to get replacements. They are very slow to respond. read more

I wish I had seen all these reviews before doing business with these folks. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a business. If I could give them negative stars, I would. The place is incredibly disorganized and the staff completely incompetent. It took them three months to fulfill our cabinet order when they said it would be ready in two weeks. Every week they told us the order would be fulfilled but then when we called, nothing was ready. At one point we even rented a U-haul to pick up the remaining cabinets after triple checking with the staff that they were ready. When we showed up, nothing was there! And, if the process wasn't bad enough, the product is of low quality. We ordered white cabinets and the surface paint is cracking after a few months of use! All the doors are hung at different levels which means at some point, we'll have to rehang them so they are level. Stay away! read more

John C-You are MISINFORMED. I called twice that day, once when told by a sales associate that Nan was "available now". I called back in an hour at which time I was told Nan was busy with a customer. I left my number for a call back on 10/27/2016!. When I did not get a call back, I called again close to closing time. This is the time I spoke with a male associate and was told that Nan was busy and had been busy with "customers all day". I did not get a response back from your company until November 1st after posting the initial Yelp review. Jennifer Perry emailed me back and I responded back to her and let her know of a another incident over that same weekend which I did not review on here because I will not be doing business with Pius. However since you seemed to be not in the loop and assume I am not responding to your request. here goes the scenario....I came into the Holgate location despite being ignored from the email and telephone number left still searching for a cabinet and counter-top. Not ONE of your associates could be bother to even address us as we walked passed the desk area. I then asked a male associate for counter-top. He used his finger to point too some pre-cut counter top that was marked for sale laying on the ground and then said "we don't have counter-top". Never once coming from behind the desk. I explained all of this to Jennifer in my email on November 1st. Oddly the associate has a pretty good "story to tell that sounded familiar. "He was with a customer". Seems that Pius has some modern day sorcery...customers become invisible. People like me think they are available because they were told someone was available or see for their own eyes an associate standing there with NO customers. read more

Pius is awesome! Yen was super helpful! We had a hickup on installation where we needed a support between the dishwasher and oven. It wasn't included in the original design or price but they gave us one at no cost. I reviewed the cabinets when I picked them up and they made adjustments to the doors on the spot and touched up anything I pointed out. The quality for the price is unbeatable! Even the cheaper cabinets have "soft close" hardware on the drawers and you go to Rockler for the soft close cabinet door hardware (easy 1 screw installation) and you are golden! We picked our slabs out at their yard. The counter guys came in and worked super hard and got the counter installed in a day. You don't pay the full installation price until it is installed and you are satisfied. I would recomend you be available while they install the granite and look at the slab before they cut it up to make sure you are happy with it. Buy some caulk and get the top of the backsplash as they wouldn't do it for some reason per their bosses request. Buy some granite sealer/polish/cleaner kit at Home Depot and finsh your counter a day or two after their adhesives dry and it will look great! Have an idea of what you want when you go in as they are not going to hold your hand thru every minor detail. They did help us design a layout with our dimensions though. If you expect a $25k job for $5k by going to Pius then you are not going to find it. If you are looking for above average quality stuff for a rock bottom price then you will find it here. Go to Home Depot across the street and look at their unfinished cabinets (and finished cabinets with "soft close" same as what Rockler sells "Blum" is the brand) and the hardware and compare the price of a similar finished cabinet and hardware at Pius. Do the same for a granite counter installation. You will have to put some leg work into Pius' product (like the sealing and soft close hardware) but you will save $$$ for what you are getting. read more

We just had Pius install a countertop and sink for us, and they did a terrible job. First of all, the sink is an undermount, and they cut the hole in the granite too large and then tried to convince me it is supposed to be like that. Secondly, there is a gap along the wall behind the back splash, and they tried to convince me it was because the wall isn't straight, but then I just read another review that says this happens because they didn't cut it correctly. Finally, and most importantly, they installed the countertop with a crack in it, and then (again) tried to convince us that this is normal. They said all their countertops have cracks, and if we didn't like it, we should go someplace else. They did agree to replace it, but they said the new one would probably have a crack, too, and they wouldn't be able to reinstall it for another 3 weeks! I definitely wish I had read their reviews before working with them. Wouldn't recommend them for anything. read more

We went today to pick out the carrara marble slabs (3) for our master bath remodel. They said to go to their warehouse at 9:30 and they would load them up. We get there and have a hard time finding anyone who can speak English. Finally after a half hour our the installer assigned to us shows up ( he spoke broken English). There are only 3 (2 cm)slabs to choose from, all of them damaged. They didn't even have the vanity slabs (3cm) available that we ordered in July!! Why did they not tell us that when I spoke with them the day before???? After watching how they lift the slabs from crates that have nails protruding everywhere, we are not surprised they are damaged!! It was a disorganized mess. We went straight to the showroom and promptly cancelled our order and received a full refund. We then went to OTM and it was a breath of fresh air! I know we will be paying more, but we will be getting a quality product, which in the end is the most important thing. You get what you pay for at Pius. (I should have listened to my gut. When I was there in July placing my order, a gentleman ahead of me was complaining, saying he was very dissatisfied with the installation of his marble, said they couldn't even cut a straight line) read more

I have my Kitchen done with Pius in April 2017 . We pick up our Stone and found out the measurement was wrong and so we paid $ 600 more . The kitchen cabinet was installed but there was a missing pieces. 2 cabinet doors and drawer is missing. We are in contact with Jennifer and to this time 6 weeks still have not delivered our missing pieces. They want you to pay 100% before delivery but they can not deliver their product 100%. It's so frustrating just waiting and waiting . You could not even enjoy your brand new kitchen because it's missing parts that you already paid for. Once you paid it you are no longer a priority. I will never recommend this company. Jennifer make you feel you are no longer a priority. Per Jennifer Emails she has a spreadsheet of customers missing items . How many damage and missing items do you have for us to wait over 6 weeks to get sink cabinet door and a small drawer? Pius will not call you if you don't try to get hold of them. If you try to call nobody pick up the phone. This store is BAD customer service. read more
