I and a few other family members were invited by my mother and by the time I walked out, I was wondering why this place wasn't packed wall‑to‑wall every night. Let's start with Monday's AYCE perch -- absolutely outstanding. Lightly breaded, perfectly seasoned, and fried just right. It's the kind of perch that makes you rethink every mediocre fish fry your uncle threw that your family tolerated. If you're a perch person, this is your new weekly ritual. Then came the walleye, WATCH OUT NOW, and honestly, my sister wasn't prepared. She said it was flaky, flavorful, and cooked with the kind of herbs & spices she recognized that said, "Yeah, we know exactly what the hell we're doing." "It's the kind of fish that makes you pause mid‑bite and appreciate life for a second." But the real surprise of the night? The bacon, mushroom, and American cheese hamburger -- unforgettable. This thing deserves its own billboard. Juicy, stacked, and unapologetically delicious. Every bite felt like a small celebration. On top of all that, the place is spotless. I mean impressively clean. Floors, tables, bar area -- everything looked like someone had just finished polishing it. You can tell the staff takes pride in the space. And speaking of the space... Yes, the building once housed a gentleman's club. But now? It's so clean, so friendly, and so well‑run that the only thing dancing is your taste buds. The only thing exotic here is how good the food is. Pivot Lounge has officially earned a spot on my "must return" list. Very surprised as to how busy and popular this place was. Started out with soup and the broccoli cheddar was outstanding. The other members of my party said their soups were good. I didn't want to be disappointed in this place so I just ordered a BYO burger. It was cooked well and I ordered medium. Still pretty good. Rest of my party said their entree's were ok. The pork chop had a different flavor we didn't like. Garlic mashed potatoes were just ok. I believe this place has a dish I'll love so I'll try again. Great local spot with good food. Tried the ribs - they were soft and fall off the bone, however they were buried under a super sweet bbq sauce. Had the steak and it is a great taste and value. The food was amazing! Probably the best fried perch I've had in years. And the macadamia crushed walleye, no words can describe how good it was!!!! The included wedge salad was quite enjoyable as well. But on the negative side, and I chalk it up to a fluke, but when we walked in, it smelled like sewer. Like an old dirty bathroom. And the service wasn't the best for a Thursday night. There was basically one server and she was working but it took a long time to get things. Well over an hour for two people with no apps and ordered the food with our drinks. Not the best introduction but the food was well worth it. I'll give it another try! read more

Great food. Favorite app is stuffed mushrooms and love the fried chicken. They have good specials and a nice variety on their menu. Been there several times. Good soups daily. Crab legs are good! Only disappointment was there ribs which people rave about. Mine were so tough and my friend had same experience and took hers home on another time to try to cook for more tenderness. seeing this place offered all you can eat crab legs on Thursdays was such a treat, but going and ordering it was a huge disappointment. they tell you it's all you can eat, but it takes 10-15 minutes in between plates and you get barely half a pound on each one. 2/6 plates were complete rubber, inedible crab legs. just a total let down. you're paying $59 for AYCE and they bring you as little as possible. if your tactic is to make people wait, to make them mad so they'll leave, keep it up. read more

I've been here several times now and it's always excellent food. Parmesan crusted chicken is my go to meal. However, the ribs, Cajun pasta dish, and walleye are amazing too. I don't eat fish, but my family absolutely loves the walleye and crab legs. I haven't had a bad meal yet. My favorite dessert is the bag of donuts! Service and atmosphere are great too! read more

Well I have read so much about this tiny gem of a restaurant and just had to try it. My friend and I were impressed with The Pivot. The decor was warm and casual plus extremely clean. We were seated right away and our server got our drinks right away. She did a find job with letting us know the lunch specials and answering our questions. I had the Rueben sandwich. The corned beef was baked not boiled and very lean. No complaints on this choice. I had the sweet potato side dish which was perfect. Not too sweet and like mashed sweet potatoes. Loved it! My friend ordered the lasagna and her order was huge and she loved it! She love the flavor and her garlic toast was nice and toasty. She ended up taking home a doggy bag and figured she could make 2 meals more at home. The Pivot is highly recommended. I know we will be back. read more

Ambience & setting, meh, but I'm more than happy going someplace with good food and moderate design as opposed to a fancy interior and mediocre food. Go for the bar, go for the food, or go for both. Either way you won't be wrong. The food- we had the caprese appetizer and it was tasty. The macadamia encrusted walleye and the coconut shrimp were excellent! Did not try this place. I am new to the area and we found this restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood off to the side of the road where you would never expect it. Went there with the hubs and had my son and his wife and kids met us the door. When we went in to eat we found out that no one under 21 was allowed in. So we had to leave. Hopefully my husband and I will be back sometime soon to check the place out. Love the kids at home! read more

Had dinner at Pivot last Thursday. With my wife and another couple. Two of our group had the macademia encrusted walleye. They said it was okay. A third member had the perch and liked it alot I had the rueben sandwich. It was the worst sandwich I have ever had. I should have not ordered because it said smoked corned beef. It is not smoked. And it said it was sliced thin. It was not. And it was grizzly and tough and I could not finish it. You really should learn how to cook something the right way before putting it on a menu. Corned beef sandwiches should have thinly sliced meat paper thin. Dont order it. Waste of money. read more
