The therapists seem to somehow rebuild the affected body part's functionality during that time so that the remaining time on the PT Order can be spent developing strength as you continue going to the gym or pool or going for walks, actually using your body. Then when you go back to PT to work with the physical therapist, they can assess your progress and make any new adjustments that activity reveals should be made and make sure the original corrections are holding. Then, you go back to your daily strengthening routine. These therapists are like miracle workers. Roxana and Magda are great assets to the Alliance team. A SHOUT OUT, to the Physical Therapist, Avisha, who is in charge of the team. In a very quiet way, she is a multi tasker as she type notes on her lap top as she keeps a watchful eye on the client(s). She does an outstanding job asking questions to access where the pain is and confirming that you are comfortable as she positions you with placement of a heating pad if needed. Christian puts your body and legs into position(s) that you would never imagine as you feel the tight muscles stretch while asking, is this where you feel the pain ? Nick, the quiet drill sergeant, with a tone of voice that calmly states, "roll the shoulders and not the neck, tuck in your arms", as you pull one of the colorful rubber ropes. The three of them are completely tuned into helping you heal, expressing their concern that you are comfortable. All is effectively achieved as they ask questions and answer your questions. Their knowledge of the muscle structure allows them to explain the results they are looking for at the end of the session(s). The three of them are adamant in regard to wiping down all equipment with disinfectant after each usage by the clients .The bed is freshened as well with a change of pillows, which contributes to the client's level of comfort during and after physical therapy. While I naturally wanted a quicker recovery, Tyler, Dustin, Paula, and Clark reminded me that healing takes time and progress isn't always linear. After resting for a six weeks and limiting my movement, I realized the pain was not going away and that even everyday movements came with some pain. So I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Noah. I was a little nervous before my first session - curious about what they'd determine the injury was, whether I would feel comfortable with the therapist, how many sessions would I need to see an improvement. The unknowns were pretty vast. Luckily, from my first session I was greeted with the warmth and professionalism of Dr. Noah. He asked questions and had me try to execute certain movements both on the table and in the open "gym" area to help determine the nature of my injury. Over the course of the next four sessions, he gave me exercises and stretches to do at home, but I honestly think that the majority of improvement came from the manual work on my body during the sessions. There was one session where I could almost feel a sense of pressure release. He always says "hopefully, if things go well I'll never have to see you again" which I think is such a funny way of saying I hope you continue to feel great and don't have a need to return. Luckily, if that's not the case I'm so glad that I found a business like Rose Physical Therapy and a PT professional in Dr. Noah that I can trust if ever needed. Thank you Dr. Noah!

The quality of care is pretty good (friendly, knowledgeable). However, the billing process and…read morepatient portal are frustrating to the point of this being too stressful of a practice to go to. I can't be certain I am not overpaying for services here. You get constant reminders to pay your balance (sometimes pay or you can't schedule) BUT the portal only shows billing statements (an unclear pdf of the visits there *was* an outstanding balance for). It's unclear because the portal does NOT give you the option to see (1) Past payments you made, (2) An explanation or summary of WHY your balance is what it is. CFAO (the people behind PhysioDC) also don't necessarily map your checks to the specific appt -- so it's impossible to track why you STILL have a balance despite you having sent a check each time you were billed. Very stressful, unclear. It's not right to have a payment balance and not make it easy for patients to understand where the balance is coming from (or dispute it).

Similar to another poster, I spent around 15 minutes with Chris per session and even less when he was late (often 10-15 min after my appt time) getting me from the waiting room. He'd juggle 3 patients at once (nobody else at the clinic did this) and even when he didn't have this many patients I was alone while he was on the other side of the clinic or he just disappeared completely. When I brought up concerns about pain (not muscle pain or soreness), he'd just brush off my concerns and rush through my questions. Older reviews mentioned how friendly the pts are but this was not my experience. Chris was nice at first but then was checked out. Most of the time he was either glued to his computer looking at restaurant menus or chatting with his friends who came to see him. The final straw was hearing him make completely inappropriate comments.

What a shame. The referral approval department does not stay on top of cases. I've missed 3 weeks of therapy waiting on referrals! I was finally able to make my next 8 appointments, only to be told there have none available, so I will miss 3 before my approval runs out again! ATI front office- get it together! Do better for your clients.
