The previous surgeon used the wrong stitches and the stitch was pushing itself out of my stomach. Dr Ghazanfari was rude and examined the area. He ripped the granuloma off and said there I fixed it. He said I needed to go to plastics as you wouldn't go to an electrician for a plumbing matter. He was dismissive and said I shouldn't chase my pain with more pain. Insinuating that I should just deal with it. I went to another doctor who preformed surgery removing the stitches and the infection that surrounded them. I would not recommend any woman go to him as he wouldn't listen to you anyway.

Dr. Hatfield did a full knee replacement on me a few years back and he was fantastic. I loved that he was honest and upfront about what to expect--so many doctors sugar coat things (i.e. severe pain is not the same thing as "discomfort"). I healed up beautifully and went on my merry way. Now that my other knee is acting up, I'm back. I have full faith in Dr Hatfield's advice and care. He is not the doctor who insists you have a consultation first then sends you for X-rays then had you come back again for treatment. He had me get X-rays first then come in one time. He looked at them, diagnosed, and gave me my cortisone shot all in one quick visit. No nonsense! His staff is also very kind, knowledgeable, and caring.

I figured I would just walk in and make an appointment since it's literally right across the street from my neighborhood. There was a lady outside who I asked what time they opened and she said 8:00. So I came in and the lady from outside was now behind the counter. I believe her name was Cece. I asked if I could make an appointment for a surgery evaluation, and she said, "oh we don't make appointments in person, you have to call" I feel like she was either having a bad morning and I thought she was kinda rude so I just left. I went and got in my car and contemplated calling for an appointment or just finding a different spot because of the treatment I received. But all of a sudden, there she was standing at my passenger door telling me she could get me an appointment. Her entire attitude had changed and she became much more pleasant. She said the person that normally sets appointments was not there yet but she wanted to get me taken care of anyway. I don't know if the correct person wasn't there or if Cece WAS the correct person, and quite honestly, I didn't and I don't care. The fact that she did a course correction and changed up her entire demeanor to be very nice and friendly was amazing in my opinion and I appreciated it. She took what could have been a bad day and turned it into a great one. So far this has been my interaction here but I have my appointment today (why I checked in, lol) so I will let you know how it goes from here.

I have been so impressed with the care he has received these past months. The front desk is always incredibly helpful and supportive and if they don't know the answer they make sure to find it. When we have questions or concerns we have always been helped right away. The nurses in the infusion center are always very kind and supportive. There has been several times where his care plan has to be changed due to issues and Dr Halbur is always so calm and supportive and makes sure we know that just because the current plan is having to change doesn't mean there isn't another plan and that he will get us through it. He said the surgery would take two hours, it would be healed in two days, the pain would be minimal, my stomach would flat like it belonged, and I'd be home in a week. The pain lasted several days. I had to be moved to in intensive care facility while it healed. I was there for just over three weeks. When I was released my stomach looked no different that it always had. Meanwhile, it was two months before the pain finally subsided. I don't know how much he bilked my insurance for, but it had to be in the thousands. Meanwhile, I'm no better off than I was before he came along.

The facility is located in a large medical complex with convenient and ample parking. Dr. Elliott Janousek, O.D., is an exceptional professional. He provides comprehensive eye exams that check visual acuity, depth perception, and eye coordination to detect issues like cataracts or macular degeneration. He also performs systemic health screenings to identify overall health issues affecting the eyes, such as diabetes and hypertension. Additionally, Dr. Janousek is highly skilled in prescribing topical and oral medications for eye infections, allergies, and inflammation, and he provides excellent surgical co-management before and after procedures performed by their seasoned ophthalmologist. The eye exam process is very efficient. The optical technician, Heep, is professional and thorough during the initial medical review and pressure testing. The practice also utilizes retinal and fundus photography to capture detailed digital images of the inside of the eye to screen for diseases. The administrative staff is equally wonderful. Maddy at the reception desk is always cheerful, helpful, and accommodating with scheduling. Please note that this is a very popular and busy office. The earliest available appointment was in October, but a week before the appointment, it was canceled. I rescheduled for November, and on the morning of that appointment, they canceled again. To make matters worse, they only send text messages to notify you of cancellations--no calls to explain or help reschedule. After this frustrating and unprofessional experience, I gave up and went elsewhere.
