We made three appointments for 11:00 AM, right when they opened. When we arrived, there were only two workers available for our three appointments. When we asked who would be doing the third appointment, we were given several excuses and told that someone had the day off and that the new owner would be coming in to take the third appointment. We waited and, after about 20 minutes, asked if they had any idea when the owner would arrive. Unfortunately, no one could give us an ETA. The owner finally arrived around 11:35 AM for an 11:00 appointment, carrying a Starbucks in her hand. That was frustrating enough after already waiting, but the pedicure experience was even more disappointing. The pedicure we requested was listed at $45 and advertised as a 50-minute service. It was finished in under 30 minutes. This was a basic boys' pedicure with no polish, yet they still initially tried to charge the full $45. After expressing our frustrations to the owner and explaining how unhappy we were with the overall experience, she eventually discounted it by $10. Honestly, I still feel that was too much considering the shortened service and what was included. I understand that staffing issues happen, especially with a new ownership transition, but the way the situation was handled--from the lack of communication and waiting 35 minutes for the owner to arrive, to the rushed pedicure and initially expecting full price--was extremely disappointing. After being a loyal customer for more than 20 years, I'm sad to say that we will not be returning. I really hope the new ownership takes this feedback seriously, because the experience was a major change from what I've come to expect after so many years.
