Great pizza to enjoy after a day on the slopes. They were out of wings and we really wished we could have tried them.

So I may have roamed outside the Denver area in search of pizza but I figure if you spend every free moment eating pizza and boarding then it's okay to review pizza places in the mountains. Pizza 101 does have some good pizza. Now it's a little on the pricey side... think Marco's in Denver for a similar price range. Their crust is that just right NY style with the softer center that you can bend in half and a little bit of a soft crust. Not too much cheese or too much sauce. I'd honestly probably eat here more if these two things were to occur: 1. Happy hour or something to bring down those prices! 2. More seating!!! I had to wait for a table to sit at to eat my pizza one night for probably 30 minutes. Mind you the pizza was done before I got a table. Otherwise though, Pizza 101 is a good and solid place to get a slice or a pie when you need to feed your pizza demons on the mountain. read more

Their pizza is amazing! I have had it on a few occasions and love their crust! Their stromboli is made with ricotta so just be prepared for that... it doesn't state that on the menu. They are a hole in the wall shop so it's really not for eating in. They also do slices. read more

Perfect skier (or rider) lunch! Located an easy 5 minute walk (in ski boots) from the base of the Peru lift, Pizza 101 serves up yummy and hot pizza by the slice. It's significantly better--and cheaper--than what you can find at the resort! The crust is particularly good--crisp on the bottom, light and chewy on top--slightly sweet, with a yeasty smell and flavor to it. The slightly-tart sauce and the fresh-grated mozzarella blend perfectly, creating a perfectly textured and flavorful slice. From the Peru lift, look north toward Hwy 6 for the "T" shaped building across from The Goat tavern. Walk across the footbridge over the Snake, and you're there! Now that I know about Pizza 101, I'll be packing far fewer lunches for the hill. read more

Was hungry and needed a quick bite. Ordered a mushroom pizza and some wings. The pizza was baked just right with crispy crust, and very tasty. The wings was a tad spicy and I asked for them baked extra crispy and they were tasty as well. I definitely would return the next time I am Keystone and staying at the Inn next door. read more

I have been coming to Keystone since 1976. I love it. In September of 2017 I had a pepperoni pizza from you. Me and my wife still talk about it today. The crust was crunchy where it needed to be, yet fluffy on the parts above the cheese. The sauce and pepperoni seasoned to perfection. The cheese had the perfect amount of meltyness without being messy. Absolute perfection. One of the best pizzas of my life! You guys rock!!! read more

Fast delicious pizza! Our dinner was delivered to our condo in less than 30 minutes. We got the sweet hot pics, casper, and godzilla. 3 16" pizzas served 5 starving people well. We just got into town and we were beat. Saw someone walking in condo with pizza box and told us it was from Pizza101. It was the BEST pizza we ever had. My son wanted to get it again the next night but we said wait one more night. We didn't know they were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and moped the rest of our trip! Soooo good. Uggghhhhhhh this pizza is sooooooo good. We don't eat out often, even on vacations, but in our one week here skiing in Colorado we've been twice already to Pizza 101. Dough is hand-tossed, and obviously a house recipe and the toppings are LOADED. We've had a Supreme and an Italian and both have hit the spot after a long day of icy activities. Couldn't recommend this pizza place more! It's only a carry-out shop though, so don't go expecting to sit down dinner it up. Take it back to the condo, lodge or hotel and kick your feet up and relax with the aromas of homemade pizza! read more

Ive been ordering from Pizza 101 since the name was on the door. Normally they make a good pizza but my last 2 orders weren't nearly to par. Tonight my greek pizza was very undercooked. For a $30 pizza I'd expect my food to be done. If I was planning to cook my own Id spend $7 at City Market. I might not have written this note If I could have gotten through on their phone to share my concern and the fact it is the second time. Ive also noticed they are skimping on ingredients. All in all I suppose this was my second chance and from now on I'll order elsewhere. read more

Fantastic pizza..my favorite pizza not only in Summit County, but in Colorado. Great crust, great ingredients, always tastes super fresh and delicious. Doesn't hurt that it's at the end of a nice ski day, too. Nice people with good customer service..must indicate good management. I also applaud them for their precautions taken during Covid, with a hand sanitizing station outside, and good plexiglass barriers inside. Highly recommended. read more

Delicious Pies located a quick walk from the old base area. It's a closet of a shop but it's the quality of the food that counts. Super convenient to the goat and the chicken wings are outstanding. They deliver to most of the resort area and have always been friendly and prompt. Of the pizza joints in Keystone resort area I recommend these guys first. We are staying at Silver Mill at River Run and wanted to stay in our condo with the family and play games and such. Pizza 101 came up as the best rated options nearby that delivers. The ordering process was efficient, and the delivery time was very speedy. We ordered two pies, a salad, and some wings. Right out of the gate we had a problem with acceptance with our kids. The wings are extremely tasty but they are way too spicy for our kids. I didn't expect that from dry rub wings. The kids couldn't eat them but of you like spice, these are very tasty dry rub wings. read more

We ordered the medium Godzilla, small cheese pizza, side salad and chicken wings for a family of five with three starving kids. The Godzilla was awesome and well worth the money. Cheese pizza was good but a bit pricey it seemed. Side salad was standard one each salad the chicken wings were fantastic. Would not hesitate to get another pie from 101. read more

After a recent pizza debate on OMG I decided to give Pizza 101 a try. When I stopped to pick up my pie I realized I had been there years before...not sure why it took so long for me to return. Good pie, friendly staff, crisp pizza crust - not like thick doughy bread but also not super thin. Two large slices were filling. My pizza was served with a big helping of FOOD POISONING. Not the first thing you want to read about your neighborhood pizza joint but its true. I threw up everything but my lungs. The worst night ever. I called them and was told "Sorry. Our fridge is really old and sometimes it doesn't work." He was unapologetic and rude to say the least. The pizza wasn't even worth it! It wasn't that good. Tasted like it was left out all day and then reheated when I ordered it. Maybe their fridge wasn't working that day?? Don't eat here if you know what being food poisoned is like.
