I was in town for a week from Texas and really wanted pizza. I was born and raised in NJ, so I'm very picky when it comes to good pizza. My husband is a huge pizza connoisseur (he even makes his own), so finding a solid spot was a must. We ordered a medium white pie, a medium BBQ chicken, and a small cheese for our son. The sizes were great compared to other pizza places. The white pie was delicious! Personally, I think it could have used just a touch more garlic, but overall it was really good. The BBQ chicken was a pleasant surprise--my husband isn't usually a fan, but he really enjoyed it. The onions were sliced perfectly, the toppings were spread evenly, and the BBQ sauce wasn't overpowering. Even my very picky son ate three slices of the cheese pizza, which says a lot. The dough was excellent--not too thin or too thick. The crust was airy, flavorful, and had a nice chew without being bland like many other places. There was very little flop on the white pie, which I loved. Ordering through the Slice app was super convenient, and the restaurant itself was easy to find. When I walked in to pick up, I was greeted immediately, and our pizzas were ready right on time. Highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. read more

We came in this little gem with our friends visiting from Tennessee. We had no idea we were walking into our new favorite Italian restaurant. They have a great selection on the menu of pizzas, salads, sandwiches, pastas, you know the norm for Italian, and the prices were very reasonable. The caprese salad was absolutely delicious. The pepperoni pizza was amazing and the calzones were cooked to perfection. Our server was warm, personable and friendly, treated us like family. I can't believe that this place isn't the busiest restaurant in MB. We ordered a 14" pizza and an order of garlic bread. The garlic bread was some of the best I've had in a restaurant. Done just right with a touch of crunch. The pizza was amazing. We've been coming here for 15 years and will continue. The restaurant is always wonderful. We live an hour away and are always up for the drive. The food is always very tasty. My wife always gets the really meaty calzone and I get the spaghetti with sausage or the house calzone. The marinara sauce is house made and will keep you coming back. The restaurant is modern and comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and the owner, George, is great. I highly recommend a try if you're in the area. read more

We visited Pizza a la Roma III during off season, during the week, and it was one of the few places open after 8pm. The food and service was great. The owners were very nice and gave us helpful information about the area. Our server welcomed us and was attentive to our needs and brought our little ones dinner out first with our appetizer. This is a great pizza spot. First of all, its the only restaurant we visited over the weekend where our waitress wore a mask. Very grateful to see at least one place in the area taking the safety of their patrons seriously. We ordered a large cheese pizza for the table and all really enjoyed it. The crust had an excellent crispy texture and just the right amount of sauce an cheese. After looking at a few possibilities to eat while I was staying at a resort hotel this one caught my eye. The pizza places close to the beach did not look that good and had poor ratings so my wife and I walked six minutes to eat here. The walk to the restaurant was a bit odd almost like we were walking through a run down trailer park; however it might have been just the street we chose. This specific pizza place shared a building with some other business and did not look too appealing from the out side but when we got into the restaurant it had the look of a nice casual Italian eatery. It had classic table cloths, paintings, and other things to give it character. The music they were playing was not conducive to the ambiance though. When we went it was mostly empty, I actually thing were were the only guest which was a red flag to me, but we went at an odd time after the lunch rush and several other diners came in while we were there including a to go order. Our server was friendly and talkative and gave us some of the rundown on a few of the other pizza places. Prices were what you would expect at a not chain pizza place and maybe even a bit cheaper. We ordered a Greek salad and a medium pizza. The Greek salad was pretty standard but it was really good and it had plenty of feta cheese and came out before our pizza. We had a half pepperoni and half mushroom, green olive, and black olive pizza. While the pizza leaned toward New York style it was not the ultra thin that I've had before but it was a bit thinner than you standard hand tossed pizza. The sauce had just the right amount of zesty without being too spicy for my wife and had an over all good flavor. I would go there again. With that said It is not what I would classify as a food destination spot due to its confusing ambiance and run down area it was in. This place was not as flashy as those places closest to the beach but the quality and cost was worth the walk down the sketchy street to get to it. read more

This is a mom & pop business...Have not visited Pizza Ala Roma III in years. But it's been over twenty-five years ago when we first started coming!!!The pizzas are still number one!! The medium pizza was topped with pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, onions, green peppers, black olives & banana peppers. They do serve buffet dinner on the weekends. Needed a late night food option that was open last night and drove down highway 17 and came upon this place ... They were closing in 30 mins but allowed us to order take out. Decor inside is a bit dated and old fashioned. Waitress was nice. We ordered the small "supreme" like pizza, small Cesar salad, and the Alfredo pasta with chicken. Salad was tasty and dressing was flavorful. Kinda hard to mess up a salad. No shaved Parmesan though. Just lettuce, dressing, and croutons. But it was tasty. The pasta was cooked al dente but hardly any chicken and lacked black pepper. The pizza was thin and brick over fired but the sausage tasted like it was not fresh and pre frozen (like Pizza Hut) the other toppings were good especially the pepperoni and the banana peppers. read more
