Hot and delicious

Pizza delicious. Crispy edge. Soft bottom. Greasy and sloppy, just the way it should be. Two large pieces of pizza and drink for $10.

When I first walked in I was greeted by a person begging for money. He was not happy that I said no and proceeded to launch into a disturbing threatening rant while the staff just looked on in silence. They let him continue to approach people at tables until he got what he was hoping and left. I was shocked that they let this person do this to their customers. I took my order to go. The food was very good. The inaction from the staff and the possibility of another negative encounter will keep me from thinking about visiting again.

Service was fast but the when people behind the counter speak in another language while taking your order it makes me think they're talking about me. My salad was good the grill chicken hot and flavorless.

This is like my third time at this location over a long period of time. The pizza was very good, and the 16" is huge, but it had nowhere near enough toppings to be charging $1.75 a topping. I had sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions on mine. The wife had a 16" veggie with chicken pizza, and the kid had a 16" pepperoni and onion. None of the pizzas were cut clean. I'm glad I have 3 pizza cutters. We also had lemon pepper wings and BBQ wings, and you can order all flats if you want, which is pretty cool. The wings were ok size, flavored ok, and not overcooked. I wish places would call wings, wing pieces, or wingettes. A wing has 3 pieces, a drum, a flat, and a tip. The total was $90.77. OUCH! It would have been totally worth it because the size of the 16" pizzas could feed 4 people, but the lack of toppings made me feel very cheated.

I went here on my lunch break They gave me old dried pizza when I called and informed them they said it was fine they would replace the pizza with fresh pizza then called me back and said I had to bring the pizza back I told them I'm at work I could bring one of the slices back because I ate one because I hadn't eaten all day so I had to end up breaking The pizza apart to find soft pieces of it to eat they would not replace the pizza they were very rude and unprofessional loss my service for good and I will not recommend

Very average and VERY EXPENSIVE pizza. 3 large pies for $75!!! Tastes better than chain pizza, but that's about it. Edible and pricey.

Very clearly the best late night pizza option in Charlotte. May just be the absolute best pizza…read moreoption period. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

Yum!!!! Pizza is our favorite. This was nice and thin and crispy, loved it! Prices weren't bad and…read moreservice was pretty quick considering how busy they were. Loved the layout with seating inside and the open window out front, very inviting! Will add, best eaten fresh as when taken back to our hotel, it did lose its crispiness! But overall a great spot to check out.

It was a 5 for me--excellent flavors, limited specialty menu, FRESH Parmesan, great crust. A 4 for my husband who wanted a tad bit thicker crust, and a 3.5 from our 16 year old who said hers was a tad too greasy and she wanted more nonalcoholic drink options beyond sparkling water and Coke. We still reheated leftovers in oven and still perfection for me. There isn't much signage, on the building or the pizza box, which seems to be intentional. I like it. Gives if-you-know-you-know vibes. You can eat indoors, which is pretty small and very loud, but so cool. Def get reservations, because they fill up FAST! To-go is also option, and they request that you order ahead on their website, and you can eat it on their outdoors tables, if you choose.

The line outside was already pretty long when we arrived. Most of the people on line were walk-ins. Not sure how many got in as Bird Pizza is very popular. The restaurant is small but they have a full service bar. If you are alone you could sit at the bar and eat. The Kale Caesar was huge and amazing and the pizza was excellent. We ordered cheese pizza - nothing special but it was! We got hot honey to accompany the pizza which added additional flavor. Check them out. You will really enjoy Bird Pizza.

Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.

It's an…read moreopen kitchen and the food came out in a decent amount of time with there being about 15 other patrons. We ordered a cheese pizza, the Morty sandwich and a side Caesar. The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

Their patio is so fun, the street you overlook is pretty chill so there weren't a lot of cars or noise. The area has good enough traffic for decent people watching, that's always fun. Our server was so funny and cool. I wish I could remember his name, but he was having a good convo with the person I was with about basketball and it was just really nice. It felt like I was home on my couch hanging with friends. It's such a cool chill place. I loved the pizza, olives app and the old fashioned. It was nice to actually meet the owner too, he is the person who greeted us when we walked in and he was really nice. This place just seems like a good neighborhood spot. If I lived closer I'd probably go a lot more often. Great spot!!
