We've been to Pasta & Provisions two or three times now, and we keep coming back not just for the incredible food, but for the people. From the moment we walk in, we feel genuinely welcomed, loved, and treated like family, which makes the experience even more special. The pasta is to die for. Some of our favorites are the garlic and rosemary noodles, the pesto, and the Alfredo sauce with chicken. Every bite is amazing. We often take items home to make later, and it somehow still tastes just as incredible. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. In the summer, they even have live music, making it a fun date night spot or a great place to bring kids for a delicious meal and great company. Highly recommend! read more

Great for grab n go to heat up at home. Love the baguettes you can keep in your freezer and have anytime. Their mozzarella is so good on really anything. Pasta, salads, Pizza- all of it. Pizza sauce and fresh dough is also always a hit. Also like their fresh pasta. Pretty easy to get in and out with the added parking behind, also at a light so you don't have to risk your life to get to it. Which is a plus for me. It came with some focaccia bread but it was kind of cold. I wish the focaccia bread had been warmed up somehow, I think I would have enjoyed it more. I had the garlic basil pasta and meatballs with the red chunky sauce forgot what it's called all of it delicious . The rest of the family had pasta also . While at a restaurant, I searched Yelp, and found Pasta & Provisions. I placed an order through the website. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and the short rib pomodoro. I would absolutely reorder the short rib pomodoro. The sauce looked and tasted homemade. The short rib once heated was super tender. I am not sure about the chicken parmigiana yet. Pick up was super easy. I received a text message stating my order was ready along with the address. This is a great place to purchase meals when you are entertaining. When I travel, I have to prepare meals for my family, ordering meals from Pasta & Provisions that I can freeze might ease the burden of cooking multiple meals. Bravo on the short rib! read more

I will start out with the positive. I bought a couple things from the frozen section, one of the lasagnas, cavatelli and bread. Sooooo good! Such good quality with phenomenal flavor. Have come multiple times to pick up their frozen lasagnas for an easy family meal and they've always been delicious. Came for the first time on Sunday to try their deli. We got the royal, side caesar, cheesesteak, and Greek salad. Everything was so good! Great portions and all very fresh. Ordered two turkey subs, Mediterranean salad and tiramisu. We love the subs previously because of the yummy bacon jam and the salad was great also. This time? Super stingy portions of bacon jam that was one small splotch in the middle of the sandwich and had a burned taste. So the special subs became meh and nothing I would go back for. And I thought pickles came with them? As for the salad, SUPER disappointed when I opened the container and half the lettuce was brown. Had to pick through it all and throw it out. I wandered in on a Sunday afternoon with bolognese on the brain, and the staff were very helpful in their recommendations for the type and cut of pasta that would work best. I ended up getting a pound of garlic & rosemary pappardelle, which the staff let me know should cook for 2.5 minutes and be combined with the sauce right when it's ready so that the pasta doesn't stick together. Once at home, we followed their instructions, and the meal came out beautifully! The pasta was perfect with the tomato-ey bolognese sauce, but honestly you could just toss it in some butter and be happy since it's flavorful all on its own. For many years I have been picking up some frozen pizzas and pasta dishes from the Exchange at 36th from Pasta and Provision. They are so good, that I'm ashamed that it has taken me this long to actually visit one of their locations! I rectified that mistake recently when I walked into their Park Road location for lunch. The place serves as a deli, and a grab and go market where you can get fresh meats, cheeses, delicious Italian bread, or take home some ready to cook meals. They also serve food in house from pasta specialty dishes like lasagna or chicken parm, to tasty sub sandwiches. On top of all that they have a great outdoor seating area for a cold drink. I have heard great reviews of their sandwiches so that is what I decided to try. I went with the Royal Sandwich which comes with capicola and a sausage patty on a toasted hoagie roll. It was fantastic! I am glad that I live by this place now because I will for sure be returning. read more

I absolutely love Pasta & Provisions, and this review is well overdue as we have been coming here for at least 4 years. The staff there is always helpful, whether it is this location or one of the others. This Park Road location is the one that I visit most frequently. We have only bought from their prepared meals, but everything has been excellent. Our favorites include their different ravioli - cheese, chicken, meat, panchetta, spinach, and mushroom. We pair them with different sauces, with our favorite probably the amatriciana. We also like their take and bake meat and chicken lasagnas. I've picked up to go meals from their other location before but this was the first time I've dined in the restaurant at the park road location. Two of us stopped by for lunch and we were totally impressed with the lunch selections. All of the employees were super friendly and welcoming that we spoke to. We were both craving pasta so we both ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I made mine a combo which came with either chips or side salad. I opted for the side salad. Unfortunately, they only had kale available that day but I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the Caesar salad was with only kale. Both of our pastas weee absolutely fantastic and fresh! This is a small but mighty store! I LOVE the goat cheese and pesto spread, it's rich in flavor. It's great on sandwiches or dipping. They also have great chocolate cookies from Italy as well. I picked up a rosemary loaf for dipping in EVOO and to pick up extra sauce my pasta missed. AKA - una scarpetta. We stopped in on Friday around noon to get lunch, and liked it so much we came back Sunday to get a take and make dinner! For lunch we tried the cheesesteak and the meatball sub, both quite large and delicious - I can't wait to go back and try a more traditional deli style sandwich. My bf and I have had a hard time finding ravioli that has meat inside of it. It seems like restaurants only offer cheese kind. So when I google and found this place, I was excited. All I can say is- WOW. I have lived in Charlotte my whole life and never stopped by this gem, shame on me!! Pasta and Provisions on Park Road is the definition of a perfect lunch break spot (Mon-Fri 12:00pm-3:00pm), and an even better place to kick start your weekend with friends (Fridays kitchen open till 8pm)!! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff, and a huge selection of Italian meats, pastas, salads, wines, and more. For a first timer, I clearly looked overwhelmed and the amazing Kevin jumped into help (I believe Kevin is the owner, or maybe manager- either way he was the BEST)! Kevin took the time to explain the whole menu and operation of the place to my friend and I, and gave us some yummy recommendations as well. We went with the Meatball Sub and Chicken Alfredo with fettuccini noodles that were folded in garlic and rosemary. Once again... WOW!! The food was the most authentic Italian I have had in Charlotte in years. The meatballs and chicken both had amazing flavor, as well as the fettuccini. Not one ounce of me was disappointed by this food! The outdoor patio is also a perfect spot for a nice and relaxing meal and convo- I can't imagine the atmosphere on a Friday night. They have a variety of pastas, lasagnas, soups, and other Italian varieties of food that you can purchase prepackaged to go. I am addicted to the spinach lasagna. It's perfect for 2-3 people. It's sold frozen, but if you want a shorter reheat, you can slack it in the refrigerator for at least 24 hrs (cuts reheat from 90 mins to 45 mins). Highly recommend. If you're having a dinner party and don't have culinary expertise, this is a great place to get food from. read more

I've been to this location twice. Since the Covid pandemic they aren't allowing customers inside. You can call ahead and place an order and they place your order on tables outside the door. I ordered the meatball special and 2 additional fresh cut pastas. I decided to get the meatballs in pomodoro sauce. The meatballs and sauce were amazing. The sauce and meatballs are so fresh and full of flavor. You actually see the fresh ingredients in the sauce! I got 3 different flavors of fresh pasta and cut into 2 different noodles. I got pappardelle and fettuccine noodles and roasted garlic, garlic and parsley and garlic and rosemary flavor. You only have to cook the paste for a couple minutes because it's fresh. I would say the roasted garlic was my favorite of the flavors. The meal deals are a great deal. I would definitely be back to get more of the deals in the future. We went on a team lunch here while I was in town. This is an Italian market with food service as well. They have cases full of homemade pastas and sauces you can buy as well as meats, etc. The cool thing here is that they prepare all the pasta from scratch AND you can select what flavor you want it to be. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs with garlic flavored spaghetti and a side of cheese garlic bread. The pasta was delicious and the meatballs were a good size. The cheese bread was gooey and cheesy as well. The service was good and fairly quick as there were a lot of us. Don't plan to eat here as there are very few stools/counter space. I understand that they have outdoor seating that is open in nice weather, but it wasn't nice weather when we were there. The other downside here is that the place itself is small so after you order and are waiting for your order it can be uncomfortable standing around because no matter where you are standing, you are in someone's way :/. read more
