I will always go out of my way for this location specifically. I love the staff! Friendly, insightful, and great at what they do. We come in to get meat sliced for charcuterie boards. We get to sample our selections which is an excellent touch. The recommendations from staff on meats and pasta pairings are always spot on. I would trust anything these employees suggest! You can get a great haul here for a reasonable price. Anytime I enjoy their food at home I feel like I am living it up. The quality is just that good! It turns your home into an Italian restaurant. Last week's haul included the longest baguette, fresh garlic rosemary pappardale, short rib, zoodles, a bottle of wine, two soups, and three different sliced meats. This all clocked in under $60. This is a very nice place to come if you have a fine appreciation for pasta and anything Italian. The parking is tight but this store is enormous on its inventory. Whether you want fresh pasta, protein, veggies or prepared meals they have it. This is the perfect place for a great bottle of wine and a really delicious Italian meal. This is the OG Pasta and Provisions location. I remember coming here as a child/ teen and getting the delicious cannolis. They were always stuffed full of the sweet ricotta cream and full of chocolate chips. It was a lovely treat as a kid. They have a wide variety of pasta and a small grocery area of fine Italian goods. We would mostly get the homemade ravioli (Butternut Squash and Lobster were my favorites), Basil Goat Cheese spread and Focaccia The only bad thing about this location and the reason I don't visit now is the parking. P&P did not disappoint, in fact, I have been stuffing myself with their delicious sandwiches, pastas, sauces, pre-made dinners, wine and salads almost every day since we arrived. They are so DELICIOUS - like the best. Fantastic staff at both of the locations I have been to so far. Ok so! Wow the best Friday night. I was going to go to Trader Joe's but something was telling me pasta and provisions seeing as I've never been. Shout out to Dylan (wine) and Liza (pasta and pasta sauce). Make sure to tell them it's your first time when you go. So I have not tried any of their sauces and Liza gave me an overview and a breakdown of everything I could think of!! This place has the best staff!!! I got everything pictured here. They even have a meat/deli counter. You can also get a small selection of different wines to accompany your to-go meal. The flavors are always spot on and it's so nice to have the dishes fresh from the oven in your own home. Have been coming here for years for various easy and delicious dinner nights, but last night I catered some items. AMAZING! My guests could not get over how delicious the food is from here. That's why it is so nice to have a place like Pasta Provisions who take the legwork out of FRESH and ensure every noodle and every prepared dish is made with an Italian experience in mind. I have been getting their frozen cheese lasagnas for years and would highly recommend them to anyone. They pop in the oven at 425 degrees for 90 mins and come out a piping hot tastebud explosion. The feeling Pasta Provisions leaves you with is one of authenticity. Their many locations provide a warm and cozy atmosphere for everyone seeking meal options. Oh, their tomato bisque is OUTSTANDING with a grilled cheese sandwich (and they have tons of cheese options for you to choose from while you are there.) The eggplant parm is great, the dried noodles are amazing to make homemade Mac and Cheese with, and the basil pesto is a party favorite. This place is badass. They've got all kinds of homemade Italian goodies. Some of my favorites include the fresh pasta, freshly frozen gnocchi & ravioli, all the sauces, fresh focaccia breads, and the cannolis!! I've never been disappointed with anything. Sometimes I ask the dude that always wears Red Wings gear for recommendations and he is continually spot on. The staff in general is really helpful. I love supporting this local Italian grocery store. It's now a Sunday tradition to stop here and then grab a couple bottles of wine from Trader Joe's (They have a nice selection here, but TJ's is so cheap...). It usually costs under $25 for 2 people. Yup, I am in love with Pasta & Provisions. Not just because they have freshly piped cannolis, but also because they have such a great selection of fresh Italian fare and ingredients. Plus, the employees are ridiculously nice and helpful. Their fridge selection has all sorts of delicious traditional, home-made Italian goodies: meatballs & marinara, stuffed jumbo shells, lasagna, tiramisu, fresh pasta, etc. If your seeking specialty Italian items - this is the place to go. They have special canned tomatoes, imported pastas, wines, cheeses, etc. that will elevate your dish to the next level. I'm not even sure where to start with P&P. This place excels on a level of Italian procurement that hasn't accurately or sufficiently been defined by the culinary world. Located off of Providence (and a bit difficult to squeeze in and out of their faux parking lot) it's the neighborhood shop for all those seeking to attain the level of "savant" in preparing their pasta-laden meal(s). First of all, the staff is so friendly it hurts. They genuinely are interested in what you are preparing. They aren't trying to shove a $200 wheel of Parmigiano into your shopping bag. They want to help you acquire the flavors that you're looking for and, without a doubt, they'll have what you're looking for. Have no idea what to prepare? They do. Ask one of the staff members for a recommendation and they'll hook you up with the starch, protein or mise en place to pull off a meal like Mario Batali in a super hero cape. One of my favorite things about this place is the smell. Breath deeply, newbie shoppers. You'll breathe in the fresh garlic, herbs and fresh pasta being prepped in the back. What a treat and right in your Myers Park backyard. I've ventured in on several occasions for dried pasta and other canned goods (pepperoncini peppers, olives, tomatoes, etc) but you can't beat their fresh pasta. They have over 10 different kinds in-house. My favorites are the garlic rosemary or the wild mushroom. Sampled a few of the others and they are all wonderful as well. All are ideal for preparing ravioli, lasagna, spaghetti or any other pasta dish you're looking to make. This place is a market titan for its class. Been here for 2 1/2 years and it took me that ;;long to visit. A friend of mine used them for a dinner party and it was so awesome. Great selection of prepared pasta dinners, olive oils and wines, cheeses, bread...the list goes on and on. My only thing is trying to get in and out of the; parking lot. It's a tight squeeze and not the easiest to back out when you have an SUV. :( There has to be another parking space?? read more

They had a special of 18 meatballs + sauce, 3/4lb fresh pasta, Rosemary focaccia, and mixed greens for $20. Can easily feed 3-4 decent size portions. Never knew this place existed till the past weekend. So glad I found it (well my fab g/f found it and brought me to it ;)). It's like a traditional Italian deli/pasta shop right here in Charlotte. Too cool! So many fresh ingredients from all the fresh cut deli meats, to the freshly made pasta as well as roasted veggies, sauce and of course the deserts!
