    Lots and lots of choices!

This is a very nice place to come if you have a fine appreciation for pasta and anything Italian. The parking is tight but this store is enormous on its inventory. Whether you want fresh pasta, protein, veggies or prepared meals they have it. This is the perfect place for a great bottle of wine and a really delicious Italian meal. It's so much better than going to a restaurant. This is real fresh Italian food and the customer service is top notch!! Come see for yourself!

Person mixing food was eating at same time with gloves on. Returned an hour later to get an item being restocked and he was still at it. Eating in prep area still. Left without purchase

Visited Pasta & Provisions for the first time today. Chris and Harrison were so extremely helpful, answered any questions, and made recommendations for things to get as well. On service alone, I will absolutely be back. Very excited to try my pastas and sauces!!!

Ok so! Wow the best Friday night. I was going to go to Trader Joe's but something was telling me pasta and provisions seeing as I've never been. Shout out to Dylan (wine) and Liza (pasta and pasta sauce). Make sure to tell them it's your first time when you go. So I have not tried any of their sauces and Liza gave me an overview and a breakdown of everything I could think of!! This place has the best staff!!! I got everything pictured here. I can't wait to support this small business for all my foreign goods. It's like a little market with oils and snacks as well. They were super knowledgeable and sweet. I can't wait to go back! Oh yeah and everything pictured is effing delicious!!!

Cannolis to-go for a party. AWESOME!

I love this place for their fresh and creamy ricotta, cannolis, frozen sfogliatelles dessert, frozen pizzas, dried pastas, frozen raviolis (sweet potato is AMAZING)...I could go on and on. You can be sure to get your Italian fix here. This location isn't conducive to dining in, like its sister location, but it's the perfect spot to stop in for to-go items. They even have a meat/deli counter. You can also get a small selection of different wines to accompany your to-go meal. Whether you're getting a frozen pizza or a frozen pasta dish, you will not be disappointed with how it turns out when you cook it in your oven at home. The flavors are always spot on and it's so nice to have the dishes fresh from the oven in your own home. I've ordered 20 mini cannolis ($1.50) from here for a birthday and they were fantastic -- the shell was fresh and crispy and they did a great job filling them. The cream is not too sweet but not too ricotta-y. Very well balanced. You can get them dipped in chocolate chip or pistachio.

How many raviolis in an order? How many people would it feed? Thanks!!

There are between 32-35 ravioli per pound. They feed 3- 4 regular eaters.

The service from our waitress was over the top good, which I got her name! I had the lasagna with a meatball and extra sauce, which ia literally the best I have had since moving from Syracuse NY. Most sauces in the south are to sweet and tastes like Chef Boy RD......but not here full of flavor with a nice bite to it, would make any Italian Nonna cry! We had little ones with us that just wanted Alfredo which wasn't on the menu, no problem waitress to the rescue again, she has the kitchen whip up a fresh Alfredo sauce, and seriously the first time I have seen the kids finish a whole meal!!! The goat cheese was amazing. I shared my penne ala vodka with my partners chicken parmesan. This is one of the best chicken parmesans I have had. We requested fresh pasta for both. Order their homemade pasta and be prepared to share. Portions were above average. For dessert you must try the cheesecake. Smooth and well balanced. One improvement could be the chocolate cake. This was dry and kacked the chocolate flavor the menu teased. The service was great. Ill be back in September.

Since I thought they were out, I ordered something else. Instead of just preparing my "backup" sandwich, the gentleman working there surprised me and went above and beyond by making a fresh batch just so I could have the sandwich I wanted. You can buy rubs, marinades, salads, sides, bread, rolls, desserts, etc. They also have frozen wild game if that is what you are into. It was unfortunate that half their store did not have power as we were not able to see any of the meat or fish on display. iI was ok we were not able to hand select our steaks or fish - the store has such a great reputation we were not too worried about what we would end up with. We decided to order 4 prime marinated NY strip and 2 tuna steaks. They make theur own naribade so we had to try it. We also wanted to try one of frozen pre-made meals so we chose the sausage and pasta with vodka sauce. While in line to checkout we saw more than a few people with trays of cinnamon buns so we had to try them as well. This is a summery of our purchased food:. The cinnamon rolls were grainy. Not smooth. I think they were old (I had to pull them from the back). The steaks had a great flavor as the marinade was really good. Three of the 4 steaks were over cooked because we were given 4 different sized steaks. 2 got burnt the third was well done....$60 wasted. The tuna was good but again they gave us one large steak and one thinner one so the smaller was was dry....another $15 wasted. If I can make any suggestion....do not make a purchase without seeing what you are buying. $136.00 later I can say I was disappointed because of the unevenness it was cooked improperly. 4 stars because the cook is partially to blame. 3 stars otherwise. The sales person is the first person that should know better than to sell meat and fish the way they did. Ruined my Christmas meal. Only 1 of us ate. :(

There's a real sense of history here. From what I understand, Reid's is one of the oldest grocers in Charlotte, and that legacy shows in the details. The rich green tile, classic signage, and thoughtfully designed layout create an elevated, almost European-style market experience. It feels polished, intentional, and welcoming all at once. What stands out: * The store is beautifully merchandised and carefully curated with specialty and seasonal items you don't always find elsewhere. * The wine bar and café concept make this more than a grocery stop--it's a place to linger. I've enjoyed flights, tastings, and brunch on the patio, and each visit has felt like a small occasion. * Location-wise, it really depends on which store you're visiting. The SouthPark and Myers Park locations have easy, convenient parking, and there's also a newer location in Ballantyne (near Pineville). The Uptown locations, while not necessarily "easy parking," are incredibly walkable--perfect if you live, work, or have meetings nearby. If you're already Uptown, this is a fantastic stop to pick up elevated items for a beautiful dinner--think wine, specialty cheeses, or even something indulgent like caviar to round things out. One thing I appreciate is that Reid's doesn't try to be everything to everyone. It's not an organic-focused market like Whole Foods, and that's okay--it serves a different purpose. The clientele here tends to be people looking for specialty ingredients, elevated prepared foods, and a more curated shopping experience. Many shoppers probably visit both stores depending on their needs, and I find myself doing the same. When Reid's really shines: During the holidays and special seasons. Their selection of unique, festive, and hard-to-find items makes it a go-to for entertaining or finding something a little extra special. Overall, Reid's feels like a true Charlotte institution--elegant, distinctive, and consistently well executed. It's the kind of place that makes grocery shopping feel enjoyable again, and I'm looking forward to continuing to explore more of what they offer as I keep eating my way through Charlotte. Bottom line: A beautifully curated local market with history, charm, and a destination-worthy wine bar--perfect for specialty shopping, brunch, and seasonal finds.
