Upon arriving, very clean and friendly. We ordered the meatball appetizer and it was very good! We ordered the "Godfather" pizza which was supposed to have ricotta, mushrooms, Italian sausage and pepperoni. Never saw it tasted any mushrooms or ricotta on the pizza. We went on a Sunday for their all day happy hour as stated on their website. When we were seated the Happy Hour menu said it was from 4-5pm and 8-9pm. Online it says happy hour is all day Sunday and Monday-Saturday from 8-9pm. When we asked our waitress about it she said the website must be incorrect, even though it was listed on the Pizza and Libations website as all day happy hour on Sunday's. We ordered mozzarella sticks and a Spritz. I also ordered 2 beer samples to try before committing to a full sized beer pour. The spritz tasted watered down and had little to no flavor. Our mozzarella sticks came out in about 15 minutes. We received our mozzarella sticks before our drinks from the bar. After receiving our appetizer, we were still waiting on our drinks we ordered and had been waiting more than 30 minutes. There were multiple tables around us checking on their drinks and food because the wait was so long even though the restaurant wasn't even halfway full. There were only about 6 people sitting at the bar. Our mozzarella sticks were fresh and the hot honey drizzle was a good addition! They were pretty thick mozzarella sticks but reminded me of a higher end Arby's mozzarella stick. We ended up getting our check after my husband finally got his drink more than 30 minutes after ordering it. All in all, service was slow and the menus were not updated with correct pricing or specials. One menu stated a Coors Light was $6 while another said it was $7. Maybe it was an off night for them. I made reservations for Saturday night. We walked in and were shoulder to shoulder with other people waiting to be checked in. There were two girls working the door. You could see agitation on the other's faces. We were finally checked in and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Our server came over and took our drink orders, I ordered the Hi Lo and my husband got the Italian mule. Our drinks arrived at our table 10 minutes later. My husband's mule was super sweet and hard to drink. My Hi Lo was awful, I couldn't even force it down! We ordered an appetizer that I forgot the name of, it had cheese and tomatoes with small garlic toasts. It was good, but 6 small pieces of toast, one that had a hole in it, didn't do much. This app definitely needs a few more toast pieces to make it worthwhile. We ordered pizzas for dinner, one margarita and one suprema. They were good, but waiting over an hour for pizza is absurd! Service was terrible and so slow! The restaurant was not full by any means, yet service was at a snails pace. We decided to order dessert, so we got the tiramisu. Wow, this place has a winner on the menu and they discontinued them, the pinwheels. I asked the bartender why she said they take too long to make. Not sure why restaurants do this but it is frustrating. We won't be coming back as frequently now that our favourite is off the menu. read more

We stumbled upon Pizza & Libations and I'm so glad we did. From the first bite to the last, everything was spot-on delicious! We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, and wow--tender, flavorful, and swimming in their house red sauce, which was truly out of this world. Honestly, I could have eaten a bowl of that sauce on its own. It was rich, tangy, and perfectly seasoned. For our main course, we had one of their specialty pizzas and it did not disappoint. The crust was a standout--crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and had that perfect wood-fired flavor that makes you close your eyes and savor each bite. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they care about the food and the experience. Overall, good food, crappy service. Made a reservation for six of us. Arrived on time for our reservation, and had to wait ten to fifteen minutes for our table. Waitress greeted us. My biggest pet peeve for anyone working in food service is fake nails- they are disgusting, and I don't want whatever is up under them to get in my food (as you can guess, our waitress had them). We ordered our foodand drinks. Drinks came out quick. Man, they packed a punch, and agree about the "libations" name. Food on the other hand, did not. Waited quite a while for our apps. Our entrees took over an hour to come out. Mozzarella sticks for appetizer were okay- looked like frozen ones out of a box with some parsley and cheese over them. Short rib ragu was tasty- if I ever came back, I would get it again. Definitely could tell it was homemade pasta. Overall, expected more from this place, as we have had good experiences at other Taxman restaurants, but probably won't return here. read more

Our group of six visited on a Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The decor of the restaurant is sophisticated, but the dining room seems to be quite loud where we felt like we were yelling at each other all night. We started with some drinks and the mozzarella sticks and wild mushroom bruschetta that came out rather quick. The bruschetta was quite tasty and was a large portion. We had ordered two pizzas and two pasta dishes as a group. After about an hour after we had had our appetizers and other diners clearing out of the place, they brought out an orderof meatballs, as they were just starting to prepare our pizzas. The were four meatballs for six people which I found odd. I get that this was complementary, but if you're apologizing for how long our food is taking, why would you not bring one for everyone at the table? The pizzas and pasta finally came. I tried the That's My Jam. It's a sweet pizza so I found it tasty. Overall, this restaurant is quite a ways out of the way for me, and with the amount of time our food took, I probably won't be back. read more

Due to self-imposed dietary restrictions, I hadn't had pizza for 11/2 years and decided to get back to "normal" just for a night. I heard great things about Pizza & Libations and decided to roll the dice. My girlfriend and I started out with the Meatball appetizer. It was freshly made and served with garlic toast and a wonderful Marinara sauce for dipping. Superb!! Next came the pizzas. Being a glutton it seemed like a good idea to get a couple pies to mix things up. We got "The Godfather" which is red sauce Mozzarella, Asiago, Ricotta, and Italian sausage. Very strong combo. In addition we ordered the "Sweet Heat" pie that had Red sauce, Calabrian chilis, Soprasetta, Banana peppers, and a great cheese blend. Marvelous!! The pies are hand tossed and my guess is they use "00" flour which is pretty high in gluten to give it a very toothsome pull while still being light and airy. After dinner we ran to their annex and got some Gelato that shouldn't be overlooked! The service was on point with everything as management insists on quality service instead of allowing other things to take precedence. The ambience is quite nice with modern industrial as the setting for the dining room. We are bar rats and choose to sit there when possible. Surprisingly the bar stools were quite comfortable and not an afterthought as most are. The bar was busy with fellow diners all night. This is a nice, new, hip spot located in Bargersville. It is owned by Taxman Brewery, which is located just around the corner. It is a trendy spot that has a huge dining area, a huge patio and a full bar with seating as well. There is some nice murals on the ways and they can host large groups here. There is a parking area across the street from the restaurant and there is also some free street parking available in front of it as well. They have a huge menu with salads, pasta, and of course pizza. They have a thick drink menu with signature cocktails, wine and beer. The place was packed and I was still able to be seated right away. My server was awesome. She was very helpful, attentive, and friendly. I ordered some meatballs to start off with. They come 4 to a serving and was very tasty. I got a sweet heat pizza and a Fior De Latte to wash it down. It took about 15 minutes for the pizza and they forgot about my drink so, it took the bar about 10 minutes to make it after being reminded by my server. The pizza did not disappoint. It was very tasty. I will caution you though. It had a lot of heat to it. Very spicy, but still very good. The drink was unique. It had a jalapeno taste, but was still sweet. I really enjoyed my meal here. This is a hip new spot in town and is definitely worth a visit. I admit that it is a bit on the pricier end, but well worth a splurge date night. read more

Excellent new addition to downtown Bargersville. Biggest tip right now (November 2022) is make a reservation! Giving a little grace here for a new opening and everyone still getting their bearings, but really no major hiccups other than some longer wait times - but it's well worth it. Good selection of wine and beer and some craft cocktails - my chocolate martini was excellent. This restaurant has close ties to Taxman Brewery, so you'll see their beers on tap. Pizza itself was so good. You can build your own or choose one of the specialty pizzas put together on the menu, but be warned you can't split them. My wife and I have very different taste, but we were on our way to a concert so neither of us wanted to get whole pizza to ourselves without somewhere to put leftovers. We settled on the buffalo chicken, which was excellent. I'm not a big fan of crust, but I couldn't get enough of this. Only complaint here is that I wish there was more chicken--it's a little buffalo and ranch heavy for me. Really looking forward to coming back here, especially when it warms up and they open the patio space. Definitely going to be one of our favorites. read more

We came to P&L for the first time on a whim. we have been to Taxman several times but decided to try their pizza place. We are glad we did!! The pizza was fantastic. The crispy potato's with banana peppers were so good. The Mac & Bolognese was decent. The noodles were too Al dente for my taste, but over all the food was good. It is a large space. It was busy because they were celebrating their one year anniversary. It was loud, but that wasn't a problem. We found a seat at the bar, so there was no wait. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is the service. When we sat at the bar, it took more than five minutes for anyone to even greet us. Now, when Tony finally saw that we hadn't been helped, he was on the spot the rest of the night. I recommend this place for good pizza, mixed drinks, and taxman beer! read more

My family and I traveled around 30 minutes here for Mother's Day, and were disappointed. We had heard great things but it did not live up to the expectations. The service was great and especially with our large group. We ordered two appetizers including the pepperoni pinwheels and chicken parm bites. The chicken bites were all panko crumbs and were more on the burnt end. The pizza overall was okay. I enjoyed the ricotta on the Godfather otherwise the pizza didn't have much taste. We decided to go here for devour , my daughter met her girlfriends the night before and highly recommended this place . We were not disappointed.... Even though it was a slow start when we arrived - the waitstaff made up for it later. We ended up with the mushroom gnocchi and a sweet heat pizza to split. Both delicious. I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of this place. It should be called Garlic & Libations. I really don't know if the chefs or owners have ever had decent Italian food, but they don't seem to know how to prepare it, at any rate. The "marinara" that comes with pretty much all their apps is NOT marinara--it is salsa. It looks like salsa, has the same texture as salsa (CHUNKY), and tastes like a marinara/salsa combo. I ate there with my husband and son and every single one of our dinner meals was so crazy garlicky we could hardly stand it. And I LIKE garlic--but no one likes garlic this much (or this much garlic). We ate there weeks agao, and I swear I still taste it! lol. Living where I do, we are quite shy of decent restaurants, so we were super excited to see this place open. I want to love it, I really do. But we have been here 5 times and every single time, they bungle something. The first time, I got risotto, and it was a SALT AND GARLIC BOMB. Literally the worst thing I've ever tasted. I cannot believe any self-respecting chef would let that leave the kitchen. The 2nd time we came, they were out of all of the ingredients to make the two specialty drinks (that are on their menu) that we wanted. Met some friends to try out the new location. The fried mozzarella was pretty good as a starter. We split a pizza and got the buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza was ok, a little greasy in my opinion, but the flavor was pretty good. Our friends got spaghetti and meatballs, the meatballs were really good, but the pasta was very overcooked and gummy. Service was ok, nothing to call home about. The whole restaurant is a really nice setup though. I believe that we will go to the original taxman location down the street from now on though. read more

This place is relatively new so I hope to come back again and try it when more established and not a holiday. Went for gluten free as I was just diagnosed with Celiac. The gluten free pizza was excellent and they state they use a separate oven which is amazing but they were out of gluten free pasta. Now I understand that places run out of things but the manager was like... we don't have it and walked away. I am sure a lot of people do gluten free for health but for me this was the main reason we went so would have liked a little bit of, I am really sorry, here are some other options. 3rd time here. I generally stay away from the pastas because I am picky regarding how pasta is cooked. So we usually order the pizzas. The dough is super stretchy with the perfect amount of bite to it. They really have the dough down! The crust has some crisp but is also chewy. Here's the rundown: Hubs: pepperoni and basil - delicious Me- Margherita adding pesto- a one word review...amazing! Daughter- That's my jam- delicious.
