If you like lots of toppings, this is the pizza for you!! My mom saw a recommendation for Gallagher's on Facebook so we decided to try it. We called in a carryout order and it was ready in 15 minutes. They have curbside pickup but we went inside so I could check it out. They have two entrances - a bar and a family dining- but it's all connected inside. We picked up our order at the bar and the staff were really friendly and quick. The pepper jack cheese balls were amazing! The pizza has a ton of toppings which I initially thought would be great, but the cheese/toppings kept coming off the pizza with each bite. I had the veggie pizza and the toppings made it just a little watery. The veggie had banana peppers which is not usually a topping that comes on veggie pizzas but it was definitely good. It wasn't the best pizza I've had but it was good. The crust was crunchier than I like and all the toppings made it just a little watery. I liked that they have 7" options so we could all get our own pizzas with our favorite toppings. They have lots of outdoor dining and a ton of TVs inside so it would be a great place to catch a game.

This used to be Mc'Q's! I've been meeting friends here for a few years now. Same ol' local bar with mediocre food. Nothing really new with the management change. They did add a few new items on the menu but that was about it. The stuffed breadsticks were good, cheese balls are always a good idea, and the wings had barely any sauce on them. If you order the wings, ask for extra sauce. Service isn't that great but they do try. This is a great place to meet friends on the Southside. Large tables in the back. There was a group playing poker when we were there. There is a bar section and a family section. So it is OK to bring your kids, just stay on the family side. I'll definitely be back to meet friends but don't think I would come out of my way to come here.

Same great pizza, new location. SO glad that Gallagher's opened a location closer to me. I've have ordered pick up several times from this location and the service is always friendly, and the food is always fresh (I am picking it up though). If you've never have Gallagher's pizza then you should get in today. Especially if you're a person who loves lots of toppings or you're doing Keto. The crust is super thin and they pile on the toppings. I suggest the sink. It's piled high with everything and the sausage is the ground kind that's in every bite. I 'can't speak for the other things on the menu, but this pizza is where it's at. There is a full dining room and bar in this location.

This place is everything that you'd expect it to be. A local bar that serves basic food that is done fairly well. The pros: the prices are reasonable, the food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is fairly welcoming and comfortable. The cons: only seven beers on tap. 5 pilsners, 1 ipa, and Stella. No beer list available to see the bottle selection, and no WiFi. Also, the thin crust pizza is listed as "New York style". This is not the case at all. It is good, but most definitely not New York style. If you are looking for a simple no frills place to eat or hang out with friends over a beer, this may be the place for you. But for me, the lack of beer diversity will make this my only visit here, even though the food was pretty good.

Not enough sauce!! Sausage tastes like a fundraiser pizza. Way too much cheese, too. Crust tastes manufactured. We'll never go there again.

They had the door open, which was letting in the fresh almost-spring air.) Drinks are pretty much all they have at Snug, to be honest. Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

I brought a friend to Bluebeard and she was very impressed!…read more I got the seasonal cocktail and she got a mocktail. Both drinks were delicious and a perfect way to start the meal. We ordered the Caesar broccolini and the Burrata for our appetizers. The portions were plenty for 2 to 3 people. Both appetizers were good. We ordered the lamb Ragu and the half chicken for our meals. Neither one of us typically orders a pasta dish, but the server recommended it and it did not disappoint! The half chicken was incredible. My friend even said "this is the best chicken I've ever had in my life". I would order both of these dishes again! We were too full for dessert, but I'll be sure to leave room when I come back next time!

**Bluebeard... wtf**…read more Bluebeard has been on my Indianapolis restaurant list since I moved here from Chicago in 2021. I've found some really great restaurants here over the years, so I was especially excited to finally make it to Bluebeard. Each year during Devour, my husband and I pick a restaurant for each other as a surprise, and this year I chose Bluebeard. We had a 6:15 reservation and arrived about 10 minutes late due to traffic. I apologized, and we were promptly seated. Unfortunately, that's where the experience started to go downhill. Our server took about 15 minutes to come over, and although our appetizer arrived quickly (chips&dip), our drinks took another 15 minutes. I held off on ordering our meal because I wanted to do the Devour menu with the wine pairing. The food & drinks was a mixed bag: - Beauregard cocktail: 10/10 - Chips & avocado ranch dip: 8/10 - Crudo: 9/10 - Smoked fish dip: 4/10 - Mushroom ravioli: 8/10 - Short Rib Ragu: 3/10 - Chocolate crème brûlée: 3/10 There were definitely some great dishes, but the slow service and inconsistent food were disappointing for a restaurant with this reputation. The biggest issue came toward the end of the meal. The hostess came to our table and told us we needed to hurry because she needed the table for another reservation. **We were still waiting for dessert.** I explained that the service had been very slow and that we were waiting on our desserts. Our server apologized and said the hostess likely didn't realize what had been happening and was under stress. I completely understand that Devour can bring in more traffic than usual, but that's also something a restaurant at this level needs to be prepared to handle. We shouldn't have been made to feel rushed when the delays were not on our end. I really wanted to love Bluebeard after having it on my list for five years, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. For comparison, some of my favorite Indy restaurants for both food and service are Bocca, Union 50, Matador, Rosemary & Olive, Tinker Street, Strange Bird, Delicia, and Bodhi. Maybe we caught Bluebeard on an off night, but for me, this experience fell short.
